I've been wanting to try Nem Spring Roll Bar for a while since the concept is very intriguing to me. The inside is very spacious, modern, and clean. The restaurant follows a BYOB assembly format, similar to places like Chipotle or Cava. I did find the line was kind of slow and overall observed some inefficiencies. Perhaps the workers were still new, but there were some confusions with other people's orders. The portions they were giving out were small too. I ordered both a banh mi sandwich and 2 spring rolls. While the flavor was good and the ingredients were fresh, as someone who's gone to many Vietnamese restaurants in DFW, you can get bigger portions for less money. For example, the banh mi portion here is about half of a full banh mi but double the price. The sauce serving size is also on the lesser end as well; while the sauces had good flavor, there wasn't enough for me to enjoy with my entire order. Overall, I still think this place is worth checking out, especially if you work near this area

We were driving home and looking for something healthy to eat and came across this restaurant in Dallas. Loved the mini pate chaud. So many options from salad, spring rolls, banh mi. Lots of fresh options to choose from and sauces. Only downside, protein portions were very small for my order. Salmon was basically out, but they gave me the few pieces left vs making more. I noticed they grilled more for the person after me. Service is was fast. They did forget chicken wings so we had to ask after we waited and never came out. Ambiance is an elevated fast food. Order at the counter.

~$20 for 3 mediocre spring rolls?? You can definitely get better spring rolls if you go to any Vietnamese restaurant. Even the other items on the menu are overpriced... Even if the food was expensive, I wouldn't mind paying if it was good but it wasn't... The rice noodles (bun) was dry, like it has been sitting out too long. The meat was not flavorful enough. Overall the quality is not there. I see what they're trying to do with this format but the food has to be better...

My boyfriend and I went over the weekend and it was so good! He got the steak bahn mi 3 rolls for $11 -steak (11/10) -shrimp (10/10) -nem nuong (8/10) You HAVE TO get their house sauce. ITS A MUST. It's like a warm Cajun sauce 10/10

I've already provided feedback while I was in the store during soft opening but also adding on yelp. I ordered the beef bun thit nuong and was expecting a char in the meat for flavor. bun thit nuong has to have a char, its what the dish is named after..."grilled meat noodles" I got fish sauce and their special house nem sauce with crab. I was also expecting some sort of flavor but the fish sauce was too Americanized for me. I liked their nem special sauce though so next time I would stick to the nem sauce. Service was great, they visit every table to ask for feedback so I shared. I hope they make updates for my next visit.

We dropped by on a Friday evening. NEM is a Chipotle style build your own meal but with Vietnamese food. You pick noodle, fried rice, sandwich bread, or spring roll paper. You then pick your protein with chicken, beef, or pork. I was not sure if they had tofu. You then add your vegetables. The atmosphere is fast casual. The service was great and the staff was very knowledgeable. My wife is Vietnamese and she thought her bowl was very tasty. Of course, this is a modern take on traditional Vietnamese food. My spring rolls with grilled chicken were delicious. We will definitely come back again.

Nem Spring Roll Bar is an absolute gem! Every bite of their spring rolls bursts with freshness and perfectly balanced flavors. The wrappers are crisped to perfection, and the fillings--whether it's shrimp, pork, or tofu--are always seasoned just right. Their house-made sauces take everything to the next level (seriously, don't skip the peanut or crab sauce ). The presentation is beautiful, the ingredients are top-notch, and the vibe of the place makes the whole experience even better. If you're a spring roll lover--or even if you're not yet--Nem is a must-visit. I'll be coming back again and again! As far for cost ...The cost for all 3 was 11 dollars with tip and tax was about 17 because I ordered extra sauces. So not bad to be honest because of the amount of items you can stuff it with.

I really enjoyed this place. Something different. Think noodle or rice build your own bowl. I got the fried rice with an added fried egg $1 up charge. It was on the pricey side but there was a lot of meat. I got half steak, half shrimp. Both were equally good. I enjoyed the house sauce but wish I would have tried a couple of their sauces. Vinny helped me today and he was outstanding. The lady cooking served it up quickly and my eggs were perfect.

Very casual and friendly service. The place is small, clean and simple. The food is like a Vietnamese Chipotle! You go through the line putting together what you want...and there's vegan options! Food was fresh and delicious!

Ok, I actually drive pretty far for this place. I love their spring rolls!! Highly recommend adding truffle pate. And the truffle soy sauce and house sauce are fire!!! The managers here are so nice. I'm already a regular and I live an hour away.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. I never write reviews on here anymore but I've eaten at over 500 restaurants in DFW and my girlfriend is Vietnamese. The spring rolls here are STUPID good. Every ingredient tastes like it was prepared with care and diligence and then combined together for an exquisite flavor profile. They also have diet Mexican soda which is rare. I love that. Too top it all off? 2 of the owners are WORKING in store. One in the kitchen, one on the prep line. Idk how long that will last - but if you're a real foodie like me - then you know that's a holy grail level find for delicious results. Get the pork. Get the peanut sauce. Thank me later. Cheers

one of a kind build your own vermicelli/spring roll restaurant!!! loved the sauces (house sauce with crab, peanut sauce, fish sauce all had great flavor), fresh ingredients, and the service was amazing! the guy who helped us gave us great recommendations (flat eggrolls) and made our bowls with a lot of love and freshly prepared materials! definitely recommend to anyone who wants a casual, light meal!

The concept is cool, but the experience was just okay. It was $11 for three rolls, but each roll with shrimp was an extra dollar -- so $15 total for one order. For that price, I expected them to be a little more generous with the fillings. I kept having to ask for more of things, and even when I asked for extra lettuce, the guy literally added two small pieces and that was it. At that point, I just gave up. The sauces were fine, nothing special. Overall, not terrible, but definitely not worth the price.

I appreciate that before pouring my wine, the one bartender put in a lot of effort to buffing my glass. I ordered a plum wine to start, which is always delicious and sweet. We were seated a little earlier than 20 minutes, but unfortunately weren't greeted for a bit following that. They were super busy though. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable, and we stuck with splitting apps versus getting ramen. We ordered the shishito peppers, karaage, takoyaki, and edamame. To drink, we ordered and split the hot sake. The first plates came out pretty quickly, and were hot and delicious. Our hot sake took a while to be delivered, and we had to ask our waiter to double check it was still on the way. Then when it arrived, we had to fight off a bunch of gnats that kept landing on the bottle. I guess they wanted to party, too! The shishito peppers were definitely my favorite. They were perfectly coated in sauce and flavoring. The karaage was tender and tastes especially good when paired with the watermelon. takoyaki was served hot and it's a blast watching the Bonita flakes dance on the balls. The edamame, while good, needed to be stirred up because the salt distribution was heavy on certain pieces. We wished we could order dessert, but felt a bit rushed by the server. It was a little before 10pm, so we understand they're off at 11pm, but as a former server there's definitely better ways to keep up with the closing process that feels less intrusive to the patrons. Overall, we had a blast at Wabi house and the food was great. Maybe we went on an off night for service, but overall will definitely be back again!!

Excellent service despite having no reason to, since we ordered through a qr code located on the tables. I don't write about customer service unless it was genuinely something that was worth telling people. He gave us a good rundown of the situation of the restaurant and provided an in-depth explanation of the menu for my first time there. He gave us plenty of options to choose from and explained what consisted in each of the dishes. Which helped us ultimately make our choices and I enjoyed every single dish. The interior was well decorated with modern/futuristic reflective aesthetics. A great touch that made me love it even more was the dimming bags put over the spotlights adorned around the ceiling to help cut down on glare and make it a bit more comfortable to enjoy the atmosphere. The mixed vegetable salad was a very pleasant blend of sweet, savory, and Sichuan spice. I originally was going for the cucumber but I was interested in more variety and opted to try more of what they had to offer. It still hit as a refreshing appetizer to complement our other dishes. 9/10 The black pepper noodles were actually amazing with how it balanced out a lot of strong, potentially overwhelming flavors. The black pepper was perfectly seasoning the fiery stir fried bell pepper and noodles. The beef played a great supporting role to elevate the dish without making it all about itself. 8.5/10 The Number 1 rice noodles in soup was powerful without being indulgent. The flavors hit hot and hard but still savory and tastefully diverse. Jin recommended it as the noodles have a very pleasant chew and had a diverse plating with bok choy, pickled mustard, and an egg to top it off. 8.5/10 Overall I enjoyed this place completely and will 100% return when I come back to Texas.

I had the Spicy Miso Special (with mild spice) and my boyfriend had the Hinodeya special with medium spice.
