Lighting is adequate. Internet is unusable slow at 89!KB/s. Slow, incompetent, rude, waste-your-time employees. Helped several other people whom came after when all I needed was a 3 second simple request because none of the clucking, headless chickadies can do their jobs properly. Didn't ask if I wanted a receipt. They're so clueless, can't keep supplies stocked and generally run around like idiots. When they finally produced the required supply after doing idle routine tasks first, the airhead bypassed me. No apologies from any of these life-draining shrews. The golden tables are interesting. They always make drinks overly sweet. I asked for less pumps of cocoa, instead they drizzled cocoa syrup all over the cup. I almost think the baristas intentionally make it different than what you ordered. There is no consistency with the baristas. Either too much turnover, or undertrained staff. It's sad how poor the quality of drinks are. read more

Favorite Peet's in the area. Always on point! They have a couple of outdoor tables on Castro Street that are very relaxing. Although it's a chain, this is my favorite coffee shop in Mountain View. read more

I didn't like their service at all. The barista who worked today was so careless. She didn't call my name and I waited till all the customers take their coffee and when I saw one coffee left, I asked her if the coffee was mine but her answer was" I don't know". This is weird. read more

Spanking new Peets right next to Cascal, the Spanish Tapas restaurant. Really clean and nice seating. They have Nitro Cold Brew here. Nice place to get away from the heat. Great that there r 2 unisex bathrooms here. read more

Great location, not enough outdoor seating even though they have enough space for it. Peets customers sit at Sweetgreen's (nextdoor), or Cascal's (nextdoor) tables. They should definitely put more tables outside! read more

Been here twice and I really dig this location. Favorite of all the Peet's I've been to so far. I try to support local, non-chain coffeeshops as much as possible but if I had to pick a chain out here, Peet's would be it. It is both wonderful and terrible to have a Peet's coffee so close to work. Very convenient, not so great for reducing my caffeine intake. The location is very new so the crowds haven't been too bad. The space itself has a very clean and modern look. Staff was friendly and upbeat. The coffee and pastries are quiet good, and their iced tea is also very refreshing. Parking is a little difficult on busy castro street, but there are nearby lots. You have a lot of coffee options on Castro Street, but this will probably be a winner for me, just because of the convenience of the location. read more

Ridiculous! I had made a mobile order around 10:15 said it would be ready from 6-8 min. Arrived and yes my drinks were ready. My food tho! Took about another 15-20 min to get. This is just a joke to have to wait 15-30 min for a breakfast sandwich that takes 50 seconds to warm up in the oven! The sense of urgency is non existence here! Also I've been here for almost two month and I've never seen a guy working. The ladies always tend to have an attitude with young male adults and certain adult males. Why not sure! I've always come in with a great perky attitude and leave with a cloud over my head! Fix this whole place! read more

This review is mainly for the woman manager, at least that's what it seemed she was, since she was the one that told me to put my mask back on while I was in the middle of having a first sip of the latte that was just served to me. I was trying to taste it first to make sure it didn't need any sugar before leaving. I obeyed the master and put my mask back on. I went back asked the polite and respectful young man who made the latte for some sugar. Then I added two brown sugars to my latte and turned around facing the outside and proceeded to walk towards the exit. I moved my mask down enough to take a new sip with the sugar and right before exiting the same woman "manager" said again to put my mask on. There were no other customers in the coffee shop so I don't understand why she was so controlling. Just from this bad experience I will find it hard to come back here. The latte was good and the guy who made it was friendly. I think the woman "manager" needs to work on her customer service skills otherwise this place and wherever she works in the future will surely lose more customers. read more

I visit this Pete's frequently (since its opening) and will continue to do so. The have great service and great coffee! My only push is for consistency. I get the same drink almost every time and it greatly varies. Sometimes, it is almost too sweet, while other times it doesn't taste as if they added any at all. read more

The staff needs to drink more coffee because I came in and The person at the register took five minutes to get down a basic coconut black tie with extra ice in a larger cup when my drink was made it was in a small cup extra ice I asked to remake the drink so they try to pour it into a medium size cup which I told them I didn't want. A manager of some sort decided to remake my drinking and this time she put it in a medium size cup but I think because she was mad that I asked to remake it she actually made it really bad where the condensed milk basically took up all of the cup and I was only drinking condensed milk instead of actual coffee. I almost walked out with that excuse of a drink until I decided to get it refunded now when I got a refunded the cashier who is a different manager return my money but she thought I got a iced coffee because the drink was so diluted and white it looked like an iced coffee and I told her I got a coconut black tie so they took another 20 minutes to refund me. So now I'm running late to work and I'm putting a one star review on that fucking Pete's coffee :) How was your morning welcomes ? read more

I was a bit skeptical about this Peet's coffee opening so close to the one on El Camino.. but the brand spanking new store is gorgeous , warm, and inviting. It doesn't seem like as if a ton of people know about it so the plus side is that it's not super crowded. Great service, great coffee. read more

Peet's is great for convenient and dairy free coffee options. They also have coconut whip! Cool! I would appreciate if they added some organic offerings, and would lead the way in not charging for non-dairy milk.. other than that I like Peet's. This location is often busy but the service is friendly. read more

So, the baristas here are young, which is to be expected. These days, people who work in food service and retail are far different than twenty years ago. They are so righteous that the take it upon themselves to do background checks on customers they don't take a liking to. I overheard the young pinay barista say to another customer they did a background check on me. Probably through one of the local police that frequents here. You know what people did when they worked food and retail 20 years ago when there was a customer who was not liked? We talked crap about them in the backroom, and dealt with them grudgingly, and then WENT ON WITH OUR LIVES. We didn't look up their name on their internet and plot to kill them. Things are out of control. The internet has destroyed human decency. Pretty unacceptable behavior as the only way they got my name was through use of my credit card. I didn't tell them anything remotely related to my personal information. read more

I came here and ordered two coffees. The person at the register was sort of cold and unfriendly. I used the restroom and when I came out my coffee was not there. So I waited while the people behind me in line got there drinks. Then I asked and it turned out someone had stolen my coffees. I asked for replacements. Then I waited another 10 or 15 minutes while the other customers got their drinks. Then the baristas went and started chatting after all of the other customers got their drinks. So I came back up and asked about my coffees. They had forgotten to make them. I had to wait again while one of them made the coffee. Strong dislike. read more

I stopped here with two kids while on an errand and it was such a relief to find a nice spot to rest during a busy day. I don't remember the person working there but it was a younger girl with glasses who made me feel so welcome. It was a hard day and I really appreciated her being so friendly and nice to my kids. Been a regular before they temporarily moved across the street behind the bank. Love the location... I looked past the slow staff cuz I'm a Peets lover. But the new location is so hard to get to. Circled twice and couldn't find parking. Ended up going to one that's 2 miles away. I am, and probably always will be, addicted to Peet's Coffee. I am a hardcore fan and this location brings the same quality as the others I have tried. In addition, it is in a great location, as you can take your coffee to go and browse the local shops. I usually order cappuccinos, but when I want to cut my caffeine consumption I go for their matcha lattes. A great place for going alone with a book or for meeting up with a friend. read more
