These guys have served both myself and my neighbor. The neighbor needed to have their computer wiped clean as they are elderly and felt they were having scam issues. The price was reasonable and these are some really nice and considerate people who are willing to answer your questions. I had a battery issue with my 17 inch laptop and they quickly ordered a couple of different batteries and made every effort to get my laptop up and running. When they found it might be a motherboard issue. They were very prompt and thorough in getting back to me in explaining my options. First, let me say that when I have a computer concern in the future, Peachtree computers tops the list. Excellent end result. I would like to be able to give them a 5-star rating. They did excellent work as far as I can tell now several weeks later. They completed their work ahead of schedule for a very reasonable price. Too many technicians. The only hiccough has to do with the number of people I had to work with. Over 3 days I had to explain my concerns over and over to 6 different people. This caused some confusion. When I picked up my machine some of the requested work had not been done. As it turns out, that work was not possible on my computer. That could have been cleared up over the phone before I went to pick it up. I mentioned this at the time in the shop as well. I recommend only 1, at most 2, technicians per customer. read more

Like most reviews here, it's a five star review. The crew at Peachtree Computers are the best. Fair prices and quick turn around time are a hallmark of this operation. I have not been disappointed. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem with my 27" iMac and fix a failing fusion drive, identifying and correcting a corrupted user file, and having to manually transfer data from the old HDD. I never give 5 stars, so I would have given 4 except for one thing, they deleted my security features without asking. I told the guy I wasn't very happy about that as no one had contacted me first, plus, I had just paid for my annual subscription (not cheap) and his answer was, "maybe you can get a refund on your subscription." They gave me a fair price and a reasonable ETA of the next day for its return. They then proceeded to complete the job in less then 2 hours! The second time I cracked my screen. I brought in a noisy all in one Dell that I thought had a bad hard drive. They kept the computer for a few hours to run a diagnostics. Turned out it was just a dirty fan. They cleaned it and didn't charge me anything. While there I was able to check you the refurbished computers and they have some serious hardware at great prices. I was visiting Roswell and ran into a problem with my Mac laptop. The touchpad on my computer stopped working, right in the middle of my trip and during an important class launch. I came in telling them what had happened and that I made a mistake. The worker was so condescending, saying "in the future, I would back everything up." I get it, I made a mistake, I admitted it. In the end, they don't do the type of work I needed anyways (data retrieval). But, regardless if I ever did have something that they could fix, I doubt I would go back because of the worker's attitude. read more

In March 2020, I was planning to buy a computer as I was starting my own consulting business. I needed to return my Surface Pro to my former employer and thought I'd simply replace it with a new one. After researching my options, I realized I didn't really need the mobility of the Surface Pro . . . the price was too high high for the options I wanted (over $1,000), and the wait was going to be a few weeks too long (I needed it right then). I realized a basic laptop with enough processing speed and storage space would be fine for me. I dropped by Peachtree Computers on Holcomb Bridge to see if I could purchase an 'interim' computer to use while I figured out what I really needed for my work. I bought a used Lenovo laptop (approximately 3 years old) for less than $400 with an i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 64-bit OS, camera for web meetings, (no pen/touch for display which I haven't missed), 128GB storage, and plenty of USB ports. I took in an old PC to them this week. Because of the COVID, everything is drop off and remote communication right now. It was my work computer and working from home (which is all we can do right now) was impossible without it. They ran a diagnostic and sent me a text a couple hours later- Motherboard fried. It would take at least a week to get a 'new motherboard' - they explained there were no more new motherboards for that computer so it would be a like kind unit that was the same age and likely to experience similar issues. They encouraged me to take the money I would have spent on them and go buy a new computer. Which I did. Absolutely appreciated the honesty. Over the course of 24 hours, we had numerous texts as I worked to make some decisions. They were efficient, responsive, and well priced (asked them to salvage the files on old computer since it would no longer boot). My iPhone X stopped recognizing my sim card and I was completely at a loss. I work from home for myself so my phone is my lifeline. After trying everything I found online to fix the issue, I took it into the At&t store. Even with a new sim installed it still was not registering the card.
