A car essentially rolled over my phone when it was found in a parking lot, after I had lost it. I didn't want to replace my phone through insurance, since I just got this phone and they would have given me a refurbished phone, so I went to Yelp to find the BEST solution and that I did! I found PhoneZone and gave them a call. He gave me a very reasonable price over the phone to fix my Samsung Galaxy screen so I told him I was on my way!! Dropped off my phone and he was done within a couple of hours. He honored the price over the phone and suggested that I get a screen protector, which I gladly purchased along with the repair. Picked up my phone and it looked brand new and works great! Very nice guy, affordable prices, clean store, and a sofa you can sit and wait if needed. He also has accessories for sale if you need additional protection for your phone...for people like me. Hopefully, I won't need this service again, but if I do, this will be my go-to guy and I'm definitely going to spread the word!

I was told that I could only use the deal during the week, so I made an appointment to come in on Tuesday of the following week. It's a little tricky to place this place as there are so many little plazas in the one area where this is located. I called and Chad gave me precise instructions about how to get there from my location. I got there, another man told me it'd be about 45 minutes to an hour, so I left it there, ran some errands then picked it up. It looked amazing. You do have to pay taxes on the service received but it shouldn't be very much. Before handing the phone back to me, Chad informed me that there was some water damage done to the phone and that it would need to be fixed. I asked him how much they charged to remove water damage and restore the phone and he said $99. That's a great deal and I'll be back to get that done some other time.

A couple hours later, the Store Manager called to say "unfortunately" she damaged my iPad touch screen, so instead of the original $200 cost, now I would have to pay $435 to have the screen SHE damaged fixed. I was completely taken back that a business would force a customer to pay for damage they cause themselves. I asked for paperwork to show that she had caused the damage, and she not only refused to provide but also demanded that I pay $435 to get my iPad back. I had to literally call the police in order to get my iPad back and obtain a receipt that showed my iPad was in perfect condition when I first brought it in (see photos). I now have a $1300 iPad that is completely useless (there's no touch on the screen anymore) and has several metal scratches from the terrible job iRepairIt did in damaging the touch screen... I went back through the yelp reviews and noticed that many of the positive reviews are from yelp members that have no profile or activity! There's no way all these positive reviews are legit! This feels like a scam to get a quote from $200 then be forced to pay more than double to have my device scratched and damaged by their wrongdoing. Lesson learned: before taken your iphone/ipad to repair, verify if the repair shop is Apple certified at https://support.apple.com/repair/verify-repair-provider. iRepairIt is NOT Apple certified (see screenshot). A more appropriate name for this business is "iBreakIt".
