Stopped by PDQ in Clermont and had a really good experience. I ordered the 3-piece grilled spicy chicken tenders with waffle fries and Honey BBQ sauce. The tenders were juicy, flavorful, and had a great grilled taste with just the right amount of heat. The Honey BBQ sauce paired perfectly with them. The waffle fries came out hot and fresh, and the Texas toast was nicely grilled and a good side with the meal. Everything was ready quickly, and the place was clean and comfortable to eat in. What I really like about this location is the service. The staff always seem friendly and on top of things, and it feels like they're ready to take care of you as soon as you walk in -- especially when you're really hungry. Their chicken tenders are far above any others in our area. The family loves them. The sauce options are great as well. Crispy coating a plump juicy tender inside. It's been a little while since I visited PDQ, so here's my round up of the experience now. The food at PDQ tastes great, and I really appreciate the variety of flavorful sauces that they provide for free. The staff was friendly during my visit, and I also appreciated that the restaurant was clean and even had a handwashing station available. That said, the portion sizes seem to have gone down since my last visit. The shake was surprisingly small, and the chicken sandwiches felt smaller too. I also wouldn't recommend paying extra to upgrade to a large fry because the portion looked almost the same as the regular. read more

On may 27th.. I visited this location... waited for my car order... they moved me forward as they were backed up 12-25 pm. They brought it to me and the car in front of me. 1- Classic Crispy Chicken Sandwich... I pulled away and stopped in the Publix Parking lot to eat my sandwich... well... Raw in the center... And I mean Raw! I ate around the edges and tossed it. I called and spoke with Quality control person at PDQ.. Never received anything from them after that date. that was 6 weeks ago. I like PDQ's chicken, I usually order the Chicken Tenders or Chicken Nuggets. I got the 4 piece chicken tender meal with waffle fries today. The chicken was a little overcooked and dry, but it's nothing I'd complain about. I got the PDQ sauce to go with the tenders, which I wish you can buy a bottle of it because it's really good. The fries were delicious and were not over or undercooked. I went through the drive thru so I can't comment about the inside. The drive thru staff were friendly though. read more

We have been in this location a few times. They never seem too busy when we are there so we get to order right away and the food comes out fresh and hot. It is quick service, but it is really good. The staff is always friendly when we come in there and willing to help if anything is needed. The zucchini fries are some of the most amazing things you would ever try! I love the buffalo blue sauce as well. It is not too spicy, but like a buffalo nugget. I have also tried the honey butter sandwich which is really good. Their fries are great and they offer a variety of salads, bowls and other sides. And they have several sauces to accompany your meal. The place itself is waaay cool. As you walk in there's a dedicated walk way to the server. They ask for your name and you go pick a table while your meal is meticulously created. Grab your drink from the magical Coke Freestyle machine and before you know your name is called. Clean, well run, and yummy. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Food was very good! I had the Honey Butter Sandwich and it was huge. I made it a meal and had fries and a drink. Fries were well seasoned and crispy. They give you lots of fries in the basket too. Husband had the Fried Chicken sandwich and he was very impressed. He found the chicken to be nice and juicy. Kiddo had the nuggets with applesauce. We also added the corn to try. You have to get the corn OMG yum. The restaurant was very clean and all items were well stocked. I typically love this place and make a point to stop by when in the area. That being said, the last two times have been pretty bad. On out previous visit, we noticed that they eliminated some menu items that we enjoyed and the food was just ok. Then we got take out last night. It was inedible. I threw the sandwich away after a couple of bites. It seemed like they had not replaced the oil in the frier in a long time. The breading was grayish brown (not golden) and had a funny taste. The chicken itself was rubbery. The fries were a mix of both undercooked and rock hard pieces. The location is 20+ miles from my home or else I would have requested a refund. read more

PDQ in Clermont is a wonderful establishment. I have gone at different days, different times and I always get the same service. Their menu is easy to read, I like being able to order with a live person, if you ask for specific request on your meal they are always followed (example no tomato on sandwich). When you ask for extra sauce they deliver! Service is always friendly, food is fresh and delicious. Quality of food you get the pricing is great. I love that you can substitute healthier side options with your meal instead of only getting fries. Waffle fries are yummy, but their side salad with multiple dressing options is great to balance out the chicken sandwich. I highly recommend coming here! read more

So this was my first time visiting PDQ. I thought that PDQ meant "pretty darn quick" but now that I look it up I realize that it means "people dedicated to quality". I ordered a Queso Crunch Bowl. It was really good. I didn't know that you could order it with grilled chicken as opposed to crispy chicken, which is what I would have preferred, but now I know for next time because I definitely will be back and will likely get this again. There are some other things that I want to try that are on the menu as well, particularly the Thai Peanut Bowl. My husband had one of the sandwiches,the Grilled Hawaiian Chicken, that I got to taste and that was awesome as well. The service was actually pretty darn quick so I'm still okay with calling it that instead of what the PDQ actually means.It was easy to find a seat even though I thought that it was pretty busy inside, there was still a table that we could find a the four of us. read more

If I was rating the chicken nuggets and strips here, I'd give this a solid 4.5 or 5 out of 5 rating. They are good, they are fresh. If that's all that mattered, I'd be going here more. Unfortunately... it's not. The fries are average... at best. Didn't really enjoy them enough to eat with my meal. I stopped in to take advantage of their 50% off deal for educators & nurses recently. Gotta give them props for that, it was a nice gesture and I'll probably be back next year if they do it again, but probably not in the mean time. The value just isn't there. I got 2 kids meals, a 4-strip meal, and a 5-strip meal. For 10 nuggets, 9 strips, some fries and drinks the bill was close to $30 (well, half that because of the offer). That's just not worth it for fast food fried chicken for our family. This was my first visit to a PDQ. I will definitely be back. The restaurant was clean and inviting (I didn't feel like I was walking into a greasy fast food restaurant when I came in). The dining area has plenty of windows so even on the rainy day we visited there was plenty of light to enjoy our meal. The bright colors chosen to decorate helped too. The counter staff were very courteous and gave us ample time to review the menu and make a decision. The menu was well laid out like a sit down restaurant and added to the feeling of it being less like fast food. The food was great. My parents had a chicken salad, stir fry and I had a chicken sandwich. All of which were presented well, no to go containers, and tasted amazing. Everything seemed fresh. Good fast food here in Clermont. This place reminds me of Chick Fil-a but with crunchier chicken. I've only tried their tenders and fries, but I'd love to come back again for their zucchini fries. They do have an array of dipping sauces but this far they have a delicious chipotle bbq and my current favorite creamy garlic! The drive thru was kinda interesting with not the usual speak system outside, but the pull up window does have a awning which makes it better especially on rainy Florida days. Seriously, the menu is much bigger than I remember when I went to one on the West Coast of Florida. That's a nice surprise. We were lucky enough to go for the soft opening but no need to wait, their grand opening is today! The chicken is tasty and never frozen and the sauces are made daily. We tried the Club Sandwich, tenders, nuggets, the Harvest Salad and fries. Wait, we did have a chocolate peanut butter milkshake they were sampling. Soooooo good. But my favorite is the zucchini fries with the siricha sauce. I may need to bot the grease just a little on these but that is do-able. I'll be getting those again.
