I came here because I thought they were gonna be as good as the Sand Lake location. I visited Sand lake after spending the day at Disney. The food was fresh and hot. I drove to this location and I was a little disappointed. I waited at the drive thru for a few minutes and nobody ever came on to take my order. Maybe the computer just got stuck because not even the AI came on to take my order. We went inside and it was very busy. Our food didn't take long but it was packed to the brim in a tiny bag (I got the 10 castle cheeseburgers) and they left out 1 fry (comes with 2 and 2 drinks) We had to ask for sauces even though I ordered chicken rings. Food wasn't hot... just kinda warm. My sister had to go back inside to get the fries. They didn't ask any questions but why was 2 things left out and the burgers weren't hot... seems like they don't care about that part. They have a lot of workers in the kitchen at once, someone should be able to make sure the order is accurate. Probably won't be back to this location. read more

Placed my order in the app as I was leaving Costco. Arrived 5 minutes before the stated ready time due to it being across the parking lot. Totally expected and was okay with waiting 5 minutes. Wasn't okay with waiting the actual 20 minutes. After checking in with the guy at the register he pulled the ticket and placed it on the line. Never said anything else to me. Apparently he forgot in the time he pulled the ticket to the time he bagged it and put it under the hot lamp. They were still serving other folks who had ordered before I arrived so I assumed it wasn't my order. After 15 minutes and people arriving and getting their food, I asked if the order was ready. Lo and behold it had spent the last 15 minutes under the hot lamp. He also apparently forgot the mozzarella sticks. So they asked if I wanted the burgers now or wait 5 more minutes for the Mozarella sticks. I took the food bc my 4 year old had waited long enough. Get to the coke freestyle, and they're out of napkins and straws. Counters were dirty and could have used some attention. After getting that from the clerk he again forgot I was standing right in front of him when he called out my name for the Mozarella sticks. The burgers were lukewarm, surprise surprise. Overall not impressed. This is the 3rd time I've had subpar service since thy opened. The shine has clearly worn off, and the owner/operator doesn't care about the long term success of this location since they've let it go to hell so quickly. read more

Stopped by after church for a quick bite. My card hiccupped at the register and the cashier announced it like she was calling bingo numbers. Declined! (Okay, not literally but kinda.) Turns out the register just does that sometimes, and the card worked on round two. Maybe a little discretion could be part of the training. Food-wise, the family was happy with the cheeseburgers, those still hit. The chicken and fish sandwiches? Meh. Place was pretty clean, but the drink machines were out, so bottled drinks only. Stopped by the White Castle in Clermont, FL late night. Entered the drive-thru at 12:10 AM and didn't leave until 12:41 AM. Only three employees were working, and while they did an excellent job under pressure and the food was still good, they were clearly understaffed. During the time I was in line, I watched at least seven cars pull out because the drive-thru wasn't moving. When this location first opened, service was fast and efficient. Now, especially on busy Thursday-Sunday nights, management really needs to reevaluate staffing and drive-thru flow. Big respect to the employees working tonight this wasn't an effort issue, it was a manpower issue. read more

We love the jalapeño cheeseburgers & we so miss the onion rings they had in the Chgo area, they only have onion chips at the 2 Florida white castles & I would not recommend them. read more

We didn't like the sliders too much. The cheese was not melted well and the meat was thin and had a ton of onions. The onion fries were okay, but nothing crazy good. The chicken slider was probably the best part of our meal, but still not great. There are only 2 individual bathrooms here too, and there was constantly a line to use the restroom the entire time we were there. So washing your hands before you eat might include a wait. The one positive thing was it a pretty decent value. We got onion fries, 4 sliders, and a water for $11. Still though, if we're gonna have fast food, we'd at least want it to be tasty. read more

The White Castle experience is always standard. You are waiting far too long for 4/5 star little sandwiches and 3/5 star soggy sides. Do I still come and eat here every time I'm in a five mile radius of the place? Absolutely I do. Do I always order way too many sandwiches? Gladly. They always build their buildings with entrances and exits in mind for the thousands of cars they'll serve per hour. It's well designed. And as for service, they're going as fast as they can, but let's face it, building these burgers involves a certain level of precision. They can only build so fast. As for the little sandwiches themselves, they're nice. Nice, soft bread, simple ingredients that all add to the sandwich. The sides are bad, like I mentioned earlier. Like, very bad. I have visited the new Clermont White Castle twice now and both times I received excellent food and customer service! In fact, on my last visit the burgers were so fresh that they were ALMOST too hot to eat right away. The food is exactly what you would expect from White Castle -- delicious sliders, fries, and chicken rings. My only small complaint with this location in particular is that there is never any parking available. However, this issue was created during the engineering and design of the building, so I would certainly not blame that on any of the employees working there. And there is a double drive thru that the employees do a great job of moving at all times. Overall, I know that I will be back! read more

I am a native to Kentucky and White Castle is readily available everywhere around there so I was really excited to see that another White Castle has joined the central Florida lineup. White Castle is definitely a guilty pleasure for me. I've been to the one in Lake Buena Vista a couple times and the service is always quite slow. I found the service at this one to be much faster. I also found the food to be fresher. Everyone was friendly and I was able to get my food relatively quickly. I received exactly what I ordered and had no problems. Please note that both white castles in Central Florida have an AI drive-through system so you tell your order to a computer basically. It may not be everybody's cup of tea but so far it seems to work out pretty well as long as you speak clearly. read more

I hadn't been back to this location for a few months in the hopes they would get more "together". They have it all together! Service was spot on with us arriving in the middle of rush hour they were prompt in getting your order and had it together very quickly. Most importantly the sliders are cooked perfectly. On Memorial Day 2026, I visited this location in Clermont Florida, and the experience was horrible. We waited in line 22 minutes after ordering we were car number four, and the line never move. I went inside and asked the gentleman did he know how much longer the drive through line would be he stated no we are understaffed. I advised the gentleman, as a courtesy why not advise the people in mind, so be can make a choice to continue to wait. The gentleman asked that I want to cancel my order, not apologize, I stated to him yes please cancel my order and customer service needs great improvement. The gentleman still did not apologize and I left the establishment. I will never return to this location again very poor choice in leadership, to not even address my concerns. read more

Stopped at White Castle as I know it's a Chicago staple and wanted to test it out. I was greeted by the nicest staff and quickly placed my order. Since this wasn't my first time, I ordered 4 cheeseburger sliders and a fry. I ordered a soft drink, too. After a short amount of time, my order was ready. I took one bite of the cheeseburger and it reminded me of Chicago. As for the location and ambiance, it was clean and very well located in a newer area in Clermont. I've been here two times. The wait outside through the drive-through is up to 20 minutes. I had a lady in front of me cut in front of me even though she was actually behind me and the two lines. I didn't understand why they cannot get food out faster and why the people don't know how to stay in line properly. The food is delicious. If you must have a white castle go inside. It's a comment on our society why people are so rude. She looked at me and Cut directly in front of me, I stopped: if I wouldn't have, she would've hit my car. When I finally got to the front, the White Castle employee said that the reason there is such a line is because people order massive amounts of the White Castle sandwiches up to 30 or 40 at a time and their grills only do 30 at one time, and they only have three grills. Thus the line is waiting on the hamburger is being grilled. Seems like White Castle could solve this problem! read more

White Castle continues to expand in the Central Florida market. This week, the 2nd restaurant opened up in Clermont. It is smaller than the first one that opened up in Orlando last year so be aware that parking is limited. It is right off State Road 50 in front of Costco. Being the first weekend since opening, I expected it to be super busy but I happen to be done with my Costco shopping and decided to see how busy it was. To my surprise, there were only a few cars in line and many open parking spots. It was about 10:30am on Saturday. I asked a genteman working the drive thru line when they would be open and he said they opened at 9 am for breakfast. I forgot they had breakfast. I parked my car and went in. There was no line inside and about 10 people sitting in the dining room. I walked right up to the counter and a nice guy named Dominic took my order. I ordered a number 2 combo... 2 double cheese burgers with fries and a drink. Within 3 min, they called my name and I sat down to enjoy my food. Everything was as I expected from White Castle. Burgers went down great and the fries were hot and tasty! I did use the Coke machine to get a diet ginger ale! Within the 15 min of my sitting down, a line formed for counter service and it went out the door. I realized then that I must of hit this place a just the right time before the lunch hour rush! The line for the drive thru was also backed up and cars were lined up down the street. All in all, it was a good experience. I will come back again and make sure it is before 11am! They need to brush up on the original recipe, which is steamed hamburgers with brown savory onions, and the hamburger should be hot. They shouldn't be dry and the meat shouldn't be dark around the edges and when you ask for them with ketchup, they should put more than a drop on it. They're not white castle savvy. To start, I ordered two double cheese sliders and received singles. No big deal. The drink machine was out of more drinks than they had in stock. They happily provided me with a large cup for my drink but waited until I was going to leave and asked if they had any lids to tell me they were out of stock of those too. The floors were disgusting with food all over the place. The bathroom stunk and was even nastier than the restaurant itself. If I could put down a zero I would. The staff was beyond rude to customers and the food was atrocious, we ordered cheese sliders. Bun was so soggy it was inedible. I went to the front counter to ask if the burgers should be this mushy, and was ignored by the employees. One employee finally took pity on me since I had been standing there awhile, and he had no idea how to answer the question if the burger was supposed to look like mush. So he asked "Jose" if he could help me, Jose looked at me rolled his eyes then looked away and continued his conversation with his Co worker who I assume was the manager since she had a black shirt on. She couldn't be bothered either, because when he asked her to speak with me she looked at him and rudely yelled at him "what do you want" . He motioned to me and said I needed to speak to her. The answer I got from her when I asked if the burgers are usually this soggy, was "ya kinda" I told her they're inedible, she just shrugged her shoulders, and says well I can try and dry them off for you. I asked dry them off? Why should a burger be dried off? I said never mind after I saw the way they were cooking the burgers, in a soupy onion mess. I declined the offer to have my burger dried off, you would think she would offer a refund when I said no, but nope she just lumbered back and started telling her coworkers about the interaction, which caused them all to give my daughter and myself dirty looks as we walked out. Also, there were no water cups or napkins, when I asked the girl at the cash register for a water cup she said "we ain't got none". No offer to give me a regular cup for water, we had already bought a soda cup, there was no way I would buy another soda cup for water. She was the same girl who ignored a line of customers while she talked to her coworker, I overheard the customer tell her you have a line of people when she told her to hold on. Being a new place the bathroom was a mess, paper towel all over and dirty. Beyond disappointed with the whole experience, from gross food, rude employees and dirty bathrooms. Never will we go back. The manager, so called, has created a culture here that clearly does not put the customer first. read more

They are gonna ruin it... the last two times I've been here it's sooooooo slow... and I know that White Castle sometimes can be a little slow because they try to package it to order but OH MY GOSH... it's gotten so bad, they are gonna ruin it! This place was poppin just a few short weeks ago and now, it's just not worth going! Inside or drive through, they just take too long and there's no organization outside like there was earlier! What happened White Castle?? Whoever the franchise owner is... you better get up there and check out what's going on because this place could be a gold mine but it's trending to be a disaster!
