I have not been to a Texas roadhouse in quite a few years and this was the first one for me at this location. Overall I was fairly impressed with the quality of the food and the overall value you get here for a steak dinner. You can see the various cuts of steaks on display as you walk into the restaurant and it gives you a fairly good idea as to how good the cut of meat is which is probably a choice cut with nice marbling. For my first meal here, I ended up ordering a 12 ounce cut of ribeye steak along with a side of fries and green beans. The steak was cooked to perfection to a medium doneness as I had ordered and had a good flavor albeit a tad on the tough side but overall a good steak. Sides were fairly pedestrian, but complemented the steak nicely. I ended up washing my meal down with a couple of their happy hour margaritas which were quite tasty, very reasonably priced, albeit a tad on the light side when it comes to the amount of tequila they put in their drink. If you're willing to pay a couple extra dollars they will give you a shot of tequila on the side to add your margarita as a note. Relative to the restaurant itself and the staff, I have always liked the Texas Roadhouse decor and neon signs that adorn this chain restaurant where it definitely adds a lot to the overall dining experience. Staff was very friendly with excellent follow up throughout which was another plus. Overall this chain really hits it out of the park where you would be hard pressed to find another steakhouse that offers this quality at such a great value. We go to Texas road house a lot. As always, I order everything WITHOUT seasoning. I can not have spice as I will get very sick and may end up in the hospital. Food came out. Looked good. I almost didn't want to write this review. This occurred about a month ago. My husband and I are frequent customers of this location. So much so that the bartenders/waitresses know us by name. On this day, a bartender named Ashley was serving us. We ordered an appetizer, had peanuts, and rolls. We were gonna order entrees, just wanted to have a few drinks first. We had got there around 4 and didn't want to eat that early. When my husband ordered his 4th drink, she told him he had to order an entree first. Now if this is their policy, I'm fine with that. However her tone and matter of fact attitude is what was my problem. She went and talked to her manager. She came back and told us that the manager said we had to order entrees if we wanted to order anymore drinks. Like I said, we were gonna eat there, but not after this. This is the first time that I've dined at a Texas Roadhouse. This one is on route 27 in Clermont, Florida. I ordered the fried pickle and the shrimp as an appetizer. I also ordered a grilled salmon, and my mom ordered the half slab ribs with baked potato and shredded cheddar. The salmon and the shrimp were pretty good, but I definitely was not a fan of the ribs. I had a taste and they tasted dry and I did not like the barbecue sauce they used. If I ever return here, I definitely will not be ordering ribs. read more

I dropped by for an unexpected Saturday night dinner, and although it was packed, the wait was only about 10 minutes--not bad at all! As soon as we sat down, our server arrived with two baskets of warm rolls and water--almost like she read my mind! Let's be honest: those rolls and the cinnamon butter are legendary and worth every visit on their own. For my entree, I ordered an 8oz steak with a fully loaded sweet potato and their loaded Mac & cheese. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy--the best I've had. The Mac & cheese was rich and satisfying, and the sweet potato was so good it could've been dessert. We hadn't been to Texas Roadhouse in years. We had school rewards and a gift card and decided to take the family out which doesn't happen that often. Our kids loved it! All the decor of the animals and figures and we were near the bar so they had the tvs too. Our food was all amazing and of course the bread was fantastic (we definitely ate too much bread). This entire experience was a major wah wahhhh. The highlight was definitely the buns. Everything else was so salty, my mouth is still burning 30 minutes later. We put our name on the waitlist online. It was a 50 minute wait. We checked in at about 30 minutes into the wait. Then at about the 1 hour mark, we asked the host if she knew where we were on the list, and she said we had never checked in. We ended up getting seated about 10 minutes later. The waitress was very nice, though she disappeared after our food was ordered. A runner brought out the food, and nobody checked in on us for 20-30 minutes. We had to ask another server to get our waitress. We ordered the filet trio and the herb crusted chicken. The "well done" steak came out very pink. The only thing encrusting the chicken was enough salt to burn your mouth, and the mushrooms were cold and so salty and rubbery they were inedible. We ended up sending back the mushrooms and the steak, and me, being someone who hates sending wasting food, decided to take the chicken home to rinse off the salt and eat later. The mushrooms came back hot, but still too salty to be edible. I'm not saying they were a little salty. They were so salty they didn't even taste like mushrooms. As for the filet, we were a little disturbed. It was cut into bite sized pieces and mixed in with the rice when it was sent back because she was checking for any pieces that weren't pink. When the steak came back, it was even more mixed into the rice and still in the pieces she had cut up. That means the steak she had cut up with her used utensils was either put back into the grill or it was microwaved. I didn't think kitchens were allowed to take eaten on food back into the kitchen to reheat for sanitary reasons. I will not be going back here. read more

No complaints they do everything perfectly. Try the burger with the prime beef slices get it medium rare extra gravy on the side. You can't want no better the steaks they need to brush up on their Pittsburgh style a little bit but other than that it's the best. MUAH. I had a pleasant experience here! There was an amazing outstanding amount of people here but the wait was an average 20 minutes and I was surprised especially since it was a Sunday! They were so quick and efficient. Speaking of, our server, Tati, was just on it. She made sure we had water and rolls! :) The food here as always amazing especially those rolls. The food did take a little while but the place was PACKED so it honestly, they did amazing! Staff was working in harmony and I loved that. The road kill entree was ok. The ambiance of the place itself was very welcoming and the wait times for appetizers and food was very short considering the amount of food that had been ordered. We opted for the combo appetizers: boneless buffalo chicken, potato skins, and rattlesnake bites. I selected a medium-cooked bone-in ribeye with fries and a Caesar salad. After ordering, I requested napkins to clean the bread grease from my hands. Anticipating cloth napkins with our cutlery, we were instead given a few small paper napkins. When our salads arrived without utensils, we had to ask the food runner, who humorously acknowledged our need for them. No plates were provided for the appetizers, which we overlooked without fuss. However, our main course was a letdown. My ribeye was tough and seemed not freshly grilled but lukewarm, as if reheated. I found it inedible after a few bites. My wife's steak and the rubbery, oddly smelling shrimp shared this lukewarm, likely reheated quality. Disappointed, especially given my positive experiences at other Texas Roadhouses, we left most of our meal untouched. Dining in we've never had an issue. Takeout on the other hand, multiple. The last two times I've ordered takeout, they forgot the bread but gave butter.. I asked for extra Cesar dressing and got honey mustard or none at all. Ordered sweet tea and got warm tea with no ice. The second sweet tea ordered was unsweet. A side Cesar salad took over 30 minutes to put together. They were out of corn the potato skins came out they were burnt and not very enjoyable. They were taken off the bill, but should not have been served like that. My wife's chicken came out. On a busy Mother's day weekend it was packed. We did call ahead for a party of 8 and waited only 20 minutes not bad considering how packed it was. Waitress was super nice and on top of things. The restaurant had the place decorated for Mother's day with balloons. Dinner rolls are my favorite and served nice a hot. Mango margarita was my 1st drink of choice with an additional "kicker". The drink was sweet and needed the extra kicker to balance it out. For my 2nd was the hurricane margarita which did not need the kicker. The Hurricane margarita had enough kick to it but delicious. The steak options are good, the bread and butter will have you asking for extra baskets and the beers are always cold and over sized. This is not a premium steakhouse but you will get a good steak cooked at the temperature you ask for. I've never had a complaint when dining at Texas Roadhouse. Love our TXRH! The times we have dined in we have had excellent experiences--kind and attentive servers and delicious food. When we order to go, it is always a positive experience. The one time I had an issue it was apologized for and made right without me saying a word (they went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make it right). An added rave, our TXRH in Clermont is such a big supporter of our community, so we love supporting them by eating here when we can (which is definitely often ). *Highly recommend call ahead seating/using the online waitlist option. This place had a great, energetic vibe. The waitress was friendly and helpful and gave great recommendations. There were freshly baked, warm bread rolls with cinnamon sugar butter for the table. I had some of a cactus blossom ordered for the table and I ordered a strawberry lemonade, a medium rare ribeye with mushrooms, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, and applesauce. The bread rolls were amazing, as fresh, warm bread always is. My steak was cooked perfectly and I love mushrooms, so the option of adding mushrooms was a very welcome one. While waiting "on deck" Andrew looked us up and down as well and kept rolling his eyes while walking us to our table. Always come to Texas Roadhouse each year vacationing from Connecticut. first our server, Farren, was excellent- friendly, smiling, attentive. However our meal wasn't as good as it has been in the past. My steak was lukewarm at best, mashed potatoes looked seemingly like they were thrown in a bowl with mashed potatoes all over the outside of the bowl, my husbands ribs were dry with no extra sauce and a piece of chicken was found under the ribs (leftover from another plate????). Men's room was not clean. Ice tea was warm. However the rolls were hot and delicious! Not sure if we will be back but maybe as everyone deserves a second chance! read more
