I just went to this restaurant for the first time last week. The food was good, but what impressed me the most was the service. We were greeted by Miyah, and wow... what a sweet lady she is. She was incredibly attentive and helpful, guiding us through the menu and explaining the dishes. Her recommendations were excellent. Honestly, while the food was great, I'll definitely be going back because of the service Miyah provided. She's the kind of person who makes you feel genuinely welcome, and the establishment should feel very lucky to have her there. Kudos to her and to the entire staff. Wow. Amazing and delicious meat! Immediately when I went in I was overwhelmed with all the military and veteran ambience. The restaurant is all about American pride and the food is what demonstrates that! The meat prepared is never frozen and always freshly made, that's what the floor hostess/waitress told me! I completely forgot her name but she was amazing and I appreciate her telling me about the sauces and how she presented herself on the floor and patrons ! Being my first time, I was overwhelmed and the cashier Rachel clarified the menu and how the system works perfectly. I judge a bbq place by not just the meat by its collard greens and OMG 10 out of 10! I got the 2 meats plate with a side. The brisket and pulled pork (which you have the option of getting lean or moist), was delicious. It really was cooked to perfection. The menu basically works with chosing the meat and adding whatever side. It's a la carte basically. You also get a corn bread with your plate, which was delicious! Went a few days ago and the food didn't taste like it usually does. Not sure what happened. Everyone in my party were unsatisfied with the price and overall food quality. My food came out faster than fast food which was very odd. Was it just sitting around? No idea. Do better. read more

Some of the best seasoned brisket I've had in a while. You have two options to choose moist or lean. I recommend the moist because of the fat and flavor. The fries were good and the cornbread was just OK. Everything is à la carte so make sure you take that into consideration when ordering. The employees were very professional and came to your table to ask if you needed anything. Atmosphere was clean lots of families and I definitely will come back for this brisket. The mission and vision of this restaurant is very heartfelt as my dad was a veteran, and this means a lot to all those who served. read more

.5 lbs. We enjoyed Mission barbecue. You step into a restaurant that clearly supports our military, you have to love that. The food tasted good, I had no problem with the flavors, even with my wife being from Texas. My biggest thing is the pricing. I realize that prices for everything have went up over the last few months and years, but showing the price per half pound set with me the wrong way. Every other barbecue place I know price is per pound. The reason why we went was because the flavor was good, so if you're looking for a good tasting barbecue, I would recommend it. We visited Mission BBQ Clermont on April 8 to by 2 pounds of lean sliced brisket so I could make brisket enchiladas to bring into work for a pot luck lunch the next day. We also decided to order dinner for dine in while we were there and I ordered a cheeseburger (first time trying there) which was so very tasty, thick and smoky and we ordered a turkey dinner plate with two sides. The turkey is always good. We have never ever had any disappointments at any Mission BBQ locations until this experience. I didn't think I would need to inspect the brisket so I didn't until we got home as I was preparing to make enchiladas. If this was what they consider "lean" brisket, I would hate to see what their "moist" brisket looks like. Half of every slice of brisket was fat that had to be cut off and discarded. I feel like I was cheated on meat. Now I know that brisket often has a little fat, but half of every slice? Very disappointing. read more

Came in today around 6:00 pm wanting to try their cheeseburger and they were out of it, couldn't even bother taking it off the menu. The cashier looked like she wanted to die having no energy when taking our order with terrible customer service, workers on their phone in the bathroom, and nobody touched our table. very disappointing experience to say the least. read more

My husband and I are new to Florida from Las Vegas and are always looking for a good BBQ spot, and Mission BBQ did not disappoint us at all! We decided to eat in (which we so rarely do), and it was an incredible experience. This is the first place we have eaten out at since coming to Clermont and it had painted a huge expectation of both customer service and quality food for us from now on. On a friend's suggestion, we drove out to Clermont to try Mission BBQ. And yes, it is very good. As a Central Texas transplant, Mission is very good, but not in the elite class. It definitely is worth a return. Get there early, it is busy with a loyal following. We tried the sliced beef sandwich and two meat with sliced beef and pork ribs. The beef had a good flavor and the rubs were fall off the bone good. Sides passed the test. Mission is probably the best of the chains, certainly better than 4 Rivers, Sonny's and uch, Dickey's. read more

Visited Mission BBQ in Clermont today and really loved the atmosphere and the service. Has the Brisket (lean) and the Killer Collards. The brisket was tender and tasty. I really enjoyed the collards also!! I've never had them with tomato and I think I'm going to add that to my personal recipe. read more

We love this place! It's North Carolina style BBQ & it is yummy! I've never had anything here that I didn't like! Sides are really good too! They have lots of different BBQ sauces that are all good too! I love that the decor is all honoring our first responders & our military. You won't go wrong eating here! First time in since it opened last December! truly wish I would have gone there months ago. This is my new BBQ place to go. No freezers, everything fresh and most made in house. Mission is all about our veterans, so awesome. Food was delicious price was great and the waitress brought us a sample, big sample, of their home made banana pudding. A chain BBQ place that the quality of its food is just as delicious as another one. The brisket is incredibly tender and juicy. You can taste the smoke in it. Would highly recommend the brisket sliced. The pull pork is not greasy at all. Great flavor and so tender and great taste. The Mac and Cheese has that crusty top and cheesy flavor that clearly isn't just off the shelf Mac and cheese. Wonderful place for BBQ at a pretty decent price. read more

Expensive but good and sides were a tad strange. The collards had tomato chunks. The fresh cut fries were good but did not reheat well. The self serve soda had no sink to clean up in for overspill. We were in a few days ago and were both pleasantly surprised at how delicious our meals were. I had the beef brisket combo and my husband had the chicken barbecue sandwich, and both were absolute perfection! I don't give five star reviews easily, but my brisket easily blew away others that I've had at highly rated bbq restaurants. What is wrong with you guys? I feel so bad for people who proclaim that this is some of most amazing bbq ever! LOOK, I just finished eating a sampler meal with brisket and pork ribs alongside coleslaw and Mac and cheese. The portion of meat is underwhelming. The ribs were small and half of one of the brisket pieces was unrendered fat. The coleslaw relied too much on celery seeds and the Mac cheese? Well, it's just.....there. I'm only giving this a two star vs one because at least the couple of bites of brisket was not bad. HOWEVER, it's definitely not worth the price. You have so much better options elsewhere. We heard a lot on Mission BBQ. We are happy they are now in Clermont. We tried the brisket and the pulled pork sandwiches. Both are good. I've been to MB all over the USA. And always very happy! They always went out of their way to ask if I Served, a First Responder or other Civil Servant. And also made sure of paying back those who have or are Serving with a bit of extra service or a little extra desert or something to make the Special customer feel appreciated. (You probably can see where this is going.) But not this time! Nope. Didn't happen at all. And the food was absolutely mediocre. But this place is new.
