Typical Denny's interior. What I like about Denny's is breakfast options all day and that they are open 24 hours a day. Much better choice to me than Waffle House for a 24 hour breakfast place. I walked in and was told I could sit wherever I wanted to so I chose a comfy booth by the window. All the tables were clean and it wasnt very busy. My waitress promptly asked if I wanted something to drink and to let her know when I was ready to order. I told her I was killing time and not in any rush. She checked back with me a couple times until I was ready to order about 20 minutes later at my request. I asked her questions about the menu in the meantime. I wanted a burger in a lettuce wrap but was told they don't do that. She seemed a bit puzzled when I said ok then maybe just on top of some extra lettuce. Either way, I ended up going with the prime rib cobb salad. The prime rib cobb salad was ok. Although the pieces of meat seemed more like little bits of sirloin steak. The meat was a bit salty and a little on the chewing side. Was hoping for tender prime rib slices like the pic but I know things rarely look like the advertisement pics. Having all the other toppings made for a tasty salad. I had not been to a Denny's in a long time but I would visit this one again. read more

Decided to stop here, with my wife, for a late lunch this past weekend. We were seated right away and our drink order was taken. Shayonna gave us enough time to figure out what we would like and our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Usually, when you eat at Denny's, the food is hit or miss, but this time everything turned out pretty good. I order the T-bone steak with mac'n cheese and French fries and my wife had a breakfast meal. The dining room was clean, but the noise coming from the workers in the kitchen, coupled with a repeating Christmas song that began every time someone opened the front door, became a bit annoying. I have a good time coming here with family or during lunch with coworkers. This is a relaxing place to hit up with a small group and can usually fit it into a work lunch break. The waitresses have been nice and on point. There was even one that took a table full of orders without worrying writing any of it down and she got everything right! Quite impressive. I was skeptical about going here; I hadn't been to a Denny's in a very long time and my prior experiences (at other locations) were not that great. I went here today, Christmas Day, with my family and extended family, and as we walked in I thought it was going to be a big mistake. But thankfully I was wrong! There were quite a few people waiting for a table when we walked in, but we didn't end up waiting that long. And we were a large party, there were 12 of us, including two babies. The staff were very accommodating and got us all seated, no problem. Our server quickly took our drink orders and had them out in good time. I like strong coffee and this coffee was great!! Then our server took our food orders and prioritized having the babies' food out first which is always nice. We didn't all get our food at the same time, but I think it's because we were a large party, and it was Christmas Day, and quite busy. I ordered the double berry pancakes and it was very good!! The fruit was fresh and delicious. Eggs were good, too. Everyone in our party seemed to enjoy their food. We all walked out happy. Went for dinner on a Sunday night. It is a normal occurrence at this location for the server to tell us that they are the only one on staff, and to please be patient. We understand this. It's Denny's, and we are never expecting a lot. But tonight was truly just sad. We could tell that the server was frustrated as well. Husband ordered a grand slamwich, with hashbrowns, said it was decent, although a bit salty. The strawberry/banana milkshake he asked for arrived, thin, watery, not very cold, and was more of a pathetic smoothie. I ordered the chicken fried steak, with mac and cheese (which the menu described as oven-baked) and a garden salad. Chicken fried steak arrived with no gravy, server told me at that point that they were out. The mac and cheese was very obviously Kraft Dinner, and poorly made at that. (see pic) The salad came late, but that was at least cold, and fresh. I am limited as to which beverages I can consume, so water is often my go-to, but their water tasted awful, like it came from the bathroom tap. Also the silverware did not seem to be terribly clean. I generally love Denny's however, I can't really review this one on their food as we were not able to eat there. They were very busy and understaffed. We were told there was a 20-25 min wait. It was a gorgeous day so we decided to walk around the parking lot while we waited for their text. We went back inside after a bit and after we had waited over 30 mins we were told it would be longer as well as a 30 min additional wait for our food once we were seated and ordered. This is the place that I usually go to when it's late, like near midnight. The place was not that busy, mostly small groups that sat towards the back of the restaurant. Thank god that they had the heat on in there because it was freezing outside. I wasn't in the mood to eat anything heavy so I ordered a simple club sandwich with seasonal fruit. Seasonal, as in grapes, honeydew, cantalope, and bananas. I think it should be called annual instead of seasonal because I haven't seen any other variety of fruits. Both were good and light enough to not make me feel guilty about eating so late. My mother got the Chicken salad sandwich which looked good when it came out. She said it was ok. The service was good. This is your average Denny's. A place for you to get all of your breakfast cravings met, although a bit unsatisfactorily. It's run down, but the servers are really kind and genuine, and the food comes out fast enough. If you haven't been to a Denny's, it's a "if you can dream it, you can get it" of the breakfast world. When I came in, I got french toast, bacon, eggs, and hash browns topped with onion, cheese, and more bacon. None of it was the best I'd ever had, but it was good enough. At 10 AM on a Saturday this place was hopping! And it never stopped. Sitting at the counter I had a bird's eye view of the highly efficient cooks cranking out food quickly. Not only that but they also worked as a team with the servers. The servers were amazing also in the fact that they didn't stand around at the service area waiting for food. They were professional to the extent that they knew when the food would be coming out and they grabbed it timely so it arrived immediately at the tables. Three, four, five plates at a time they hustled. They tended to the customers' needs and turned the tables quickly. It was eye opening to see two cooks and 8 servers working perfectly with each other without missing a step for at least the hour I was there. Everyone of them should be commended. I ordered all individual items while I was at the counter. When I finished and received my check I noticed they weren't on my check but rather a combo meal was. I inquired with my server and she said it was cheaper to ring it up that way and just tell the cook to substitute two items for another. That's something you don't see every day! This is NOT a typical Dennys, I've lived all over the United States and this is by far the best Dennys I've ever been to. Dont let old norms keep you from coming to this place. Staff - absolutely wonderful. Everyone I spoke with or even walked by was extremely friendly. Everyone had a smile on their face. Server - outstanding! Food - hands down the best meal I've had at Dennys, hands down the best meal I've had in a long time and I frequent Disney quite often! The food was cooked to perfection and everything was hot. We got our backpack stolen by a employee here, the manager didn't want to provide us infos once she check the camera, after she found out that her employee was stealing, we have to get the authority involved for her to cooperate. We ate here during midnight and forget out backpack here, we return right away to ask our waitress if she seen it. The waitress said that she didn't see anything and maybe the dishwasher was cleaning the table may seen it if not she'll ask the manager that run the shift around 12:20 Am on Aug 1st to have a look. The waitress then came back to us saying that the dishwasher didn't see it and the manager said to come back tomorrow morning (which was a terrible lazy decision as the thieve have taken our backpack home by then). We call back in the morning and spoke with the manager around 8 AM August 1 which she cooperate with us and check the camera, once she found out that her employee was the one ( the officers later on confirm that it was an employee) stole it she put me on hold and later on tell me that she'll call back she'll need to do some investigating and look at other camera angles. She later call back and said that she can't give out any info ( she wasn't that reluctant before finding out who was stealing) which make me feel like this manager was trying to protect the thieve instead of doing what's right and make customer feel like the company is trying to cover up by hiding infos and teaming up with the thieve against a customer who just want to recover their possessions. Later on we got the police involved and we told the police if the one who stole from us give us back our backpack and everything in, we'll let it go. The Ocoee polices did their job and got in touch with the one stealing our backpack, they retrieved and to our surprise a empty backpack with a empty wallet, the Iphone XS Max and a little over 100 dollar is gone. We was so frustrated that the thieve have 1 chance to make it right without getting press charge he would still choose to be greedy and give us back a empty backpack after the police known who he is and where he live..... All this would have been solve with better management and leadership if they decide to check the camera that night while the employee that stolen our backpack was still there and all our belongings are still in the building. Two stars only because the waitress was nice,even though she got the order wrong. Food was below average (some things way undercooked, others way overcooked, all on the same plate). The hostess barely said two words as she rang us up for our meal, she was more concerned with being nasty to the gentleman that was trying to grab a pack of crayons for his daughters. All of these things I could deal with, and just shrug it off as a bad meal. The reason I had to write this is because this place smelled AWFUL. Had a craving for an omelette, so I stopped into Denny's because I knew they served breakfast at this time (8:22pm). I was greeted by a gentleman named Bob. Bob gave wonderful customer service. Bob made sure ALL needs were met. However; what made the night PERFECT was my omelette!!!!!!! It was the "most" delicious omelette EVER (made by a man named LUCKY)!!!!!
