We came here with our family to celebrate something incredibly special--our aunt being cancer free! There were 9 of us, and our server, Dawn, was absolutely exceptional and truly made our celebration even more memorable. We're definitely a picky group and were constantly asking for different things, but Dawn handled everything with so much patience and kindness. She was incredibly attentive and hardworking, and somehow remembered everything we asked for even while she was clearly very busy. She never made us feel like we were asking for too much and always made sure we had everything we needed. You could tell Dawn really knew what she was doing. Her attention to detail was amazing, and she was so sweet, patient, and genuinely caring throughout our entire meal. Having such wonderful service on a day that meant so much to our family made the experience even more special. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing once again. It took nearly 45 minutes for our food to arrive, and when it did, the salad dressing was missing. Our waitress had to check with the manager, only to find out they were out of it. Drink and water refills were also very slow. What's most frustrating is that this isn't a one-time issue. We've experienced the same slow service on every visit and kept giving the restaurant another chance, hoping things would improve. Unfortunately, the experience was the same again. The management is the worst I have ever experienced. Treat your employees better! The company really needs to evaluate all of management at this location, either fire them or make them go into training courses on how to speak and treat others. I was charged for a meal that I could not eat I did send it back the first time and asked for the eggs to be better cooked, and they came back the same way as my first attempt There is an industry standard when it comes to poached eggs and this establishment has no idea what that is I had two eggs that were barely cooked and the weight of the egg was runny and translucent. Quite disgusting actually. Because I returned it again they didn't law for me anything else and they also charged me for a meal that I could not eat Buyer beware of this place. I have been to this location on four occasions. The last one was on 9/22. Every time there is quite a delay on the food getting to the table. In this most recent visit there was only one other occupied table of two in the establishment. We were a table of three and it took 35 minutes for our food. First visit and first impression is clean and orderly. The staff is very friendly. The menu has quite a variety, and a small a la carte menu. They are willing to do substitutions. The food tasted great! The huevos rancheros were great and the eggs were perfect. Only two things that stick out from our visit was the time it took to get our breakfast when the restaurant was 60% occupied (waited quite a while) and the coffee which was a little burnt. Service was great. As a single diner, I was put by the kitchen. "Widow's table." I was between both doors to kitchen. So workers kept walking by. I must of been closer to the dish washer because I could smell the detergents. Food was ok, I asked for well done eggs, no runny. They were a little runny, I forced myself to eat them. Went on a busy Sunday and opted to sit at the bar since it was empty and was first come first serve so no wait to be sat. The bartender/server at the bar was wonderful and friendly. Ordered on DoorDash for my son who indicated it was just meh. I had a bite of the pancakes and thought they were flavorful and good. A bit on the small side though. The scrambled eggs tasted like fresh eggs as opposed to eggs from a carton. He said the house-made sausage was the star and he really enjoyed them. It came with 2 small patties. We just left the new "another broken egg cafe" in Clermont (hwy 27). This was a terrible experience, the waitress seemed nice but the food was brought out by 2 other staffers and it was cold cold cold, toast was so burnt it wasn't edible (see pic) - when they brought the replacement toast it was cold. There was no butter for the toast also. The waitress must have realized the issues and spoke with the manager who came to speak with us. She offered to bring replacement food but by then we had already been there over an hour and just wanted to leave. We asked for the billl and the waitress said she was waiting to see if the manager was going to do anything. Then she brought the bill and they charged us the full price not even a discounted coffee. We joined the online waitlist while on our way, which showed an estimated wait of 20-30 minutes. We arrived about 10 minutes later and were told we'd need to wait an additional 30-35 minutes before being seated. I'm not sure where the disconnect occurred, but the original wait estimate ended up being inaccurate, and the total wait was longer than expected. The location has plenty of parking, along with a small outdoor dining area and a cornhole section, which is a nice touch if you're looking to pass the time while waiting to be seated. This is a newer location, so they may still be working out some operational kinks. When we were seated, we weren't given silverware. We also ordered decaf coffee and asked for honey, which didn't arrive until we asked a second time. We had to request silverware again once our food was brought out. For food, we ordered a side of Biscuits and Gravy , a Skinny Omelette with fruit, and Shrimp and Grits . The biscuits and gravy and the shrimp and grits were delicious, but the Skinny Omelette was under-seasoned. We'll likely wait a few months for things to smooth out before returning to give them another try. read more

I really wanted to love this place. I tried. But wow... this was an Olympic-level disappointment. Let's start with the positives: the service was actually good. Friendly staff, no complaints there. Unfortunately, that's where the good news ends. We waited 45 minutes (maybe longer) for our food, and when it finally arrived it was lukewarm, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp thinking about its life choices. The potatoes were just deep-fried chunks--no seasoning, no effort, no soul. Nothing touched a grill or skillet, apparently. The eggs over easy? Technically eggs. The whites were still doing interpretive dance and the yolks were auditioning for soup. I asked for crispy English muffins and got something closer to hardened steel--tough, chewy, and actively fighting back when I tried to bite it. Not crispy. Just... aggressive. Bacon? Shockingly, the bacon was good. Credit where it's due. I also ordered a side of biscuits and gravy, which was supposed to come out early but instead showed up with the food, cold, dull, and somehow lacking all shine, flavor, or hope. Honestly, I went in hoping this might be better than Kiki's. Instead, it made me appreciate Kiki's on a spiritual level. Kiki's is not just better--it's in a completely different universe. Overall: lazy execution, cheap ingredients, long wait, cold food. If you're hungry, save yourself the disappointment and go to Kiki's. Your taste buds deserve better. read more

Cutely decorated and the staff is very nice and attentive. The music they play however faded in and out over and over so that was weird. They said it was an internet problem. The food is of good quality and looks lovely. However, the problem is, besides our country potatoes we personally didn't like the flavoring of anything else. The breakfast meats (sausage, bacon, sausage gravy) have a sweet undertone which I know lot of people love, just not us. I was not a fan of their Hollandaise sauce and unfortunately my poached egg was undercooked on the whites badly. The lemon blueberry mimosa was so overwhelming sweet because they use a ton of blueberry purée and it was overwhelming it. This restaurant is perfect for those who love sweetness in their flavor profiles. For us we are more savory. If I came back I would go in for something sweet like their Belgian waffles or Pancakes. I really wanted to like this place hoping to have a new option for breakfast/brunch in Clermont but unfortunately it just wasn't good. The service was very slow. Like excruciatingly slow. When the food finally came it wasn't even hot. Maybe lukewarm if I'm being nice. And the eggs had a seafood taste that was pretty gross. Also, it's very loud. Don't expect to have a nice conversation with your date it won't happen here. My husband thought the chicken and waffles were decent. Oh and the beignets were terrible! The syrup that came with it was a little different than what I'm used to with chicken and waffles but it wasn't bad. It had light spice and it reminded me of an old fashion. My wife ordered the southern breakfast bowl and it was definitely enough for 2 people. We came in about noon and we're seated quickly. All staff were courteous and food came out in a timely manner. However, upon leaving I stopped at front kiosk to inquire re upcharge. I had requested the standard side of cheese grits (very good). Understaffed, disorganized, and ultimately a very frustrating experience. We called ahead and were told the wait was around 15-20 minutes and that calling ahead versus walking in "wouldn't make too big of a difference." When we arrived, the restaurant was packed inside and out, so it was immediately obvious the wait would be longer than advertised. We were then told the actual wait was 30-45 minutes, which we accepted and appreciated the honesty on. After waiting outside in the Florida heat with our toddler for about 35 minutes, we went back inside to cool off and checked in again around the 45-minute mark. At that point, we were told there were still seven tables ahead of us and that it would likely be another 15-20 minutes. Frustrating, especially after already reaching the maximum quoted wait time while trying to celebrate Mother's Day as a family. Trying to make things easier, I asked if we could sit in the bar/high-top area instead. The hostess said yes and mentioned a busser would clean a table for us. Meanwhile, one hostess appeared to be actively helping while the other mostly stood at the station wiping menus despite the restaurant clearly struggling to keep up. Once seated, it became obvious the bartender was handling both the entire bar and the high-top section alone during Mother's Day weekend, while also dealing with to-go orders nearby. The bartender honestly seemed set up to fail due to poor staffing and management decisions. The busser never came until I asked again. After that, the hostess started responding with noticeable attitude anytime I checked on the situation. Eventually we got a table cleaned, but then had no menus and still no acknowledgment from staff for quite a while. Meanwhile, another couple who sat directly at the bar was greeted and helped immediately, likely because they were directly in the bartender's line of sight. When I mentioned that we seemed overlooked at our table and asked if someone could assist or notify the bartender, the hostess became even more dismissive and said there was nothing she could do because it was "his section." When I asked for a manager, I was told (with attitude) that the manager was "in the back doing to-go orders." At that point, after over an hour of waiting and still not being properly helped, we decided to leave. I genuinely feel bad for the employees who were clearly overwhelmed, but this restaurant has serious issues with staffing, communication, and operational systems. Businesses succeed or fail based on processes, and unfortunately this experience showed a lack of them. read more

We had an awesome experience! I highly recommend joining the waitlist on their website BEFORE you arrive. This was a huge timesaver for us. The restaurant was clean, and every table was full. The server was polite and helpful, and our food came out quickly for a Saturday brunch. The hash brown Benedict was great, nothing left behind on the plate! I especially loved the premium grits with bacon and cheese. Way more drink options than First Watch, too! The kids enjoyed playing cornhole outside after we finished. Let me start by saying the food is amazing! That being said, service is so far below standard that it doesn't even register. We were seated and after 15 minutes had to ask for service, it took 35-45 minutes to get the food, then we had to ask for silverware and napkins, then we had to ask for butter and syrup for pancakes. We've been to one of their restaurants in another city and loved it. We have been eagerly awaiting this one. Now that we've gone, I won't rush back. Very, very high noise levels here. You have to lean across the table to talk. It's uncomfortable. Service is slow, from start to finish. We were with a guest you has severe food allergies. She was thrilled to see they had a special menu to look over. We ordered our food and then waited, a long time.... when it Did come out, our guest's eggs had cheese on them. Sent back due to severe dairy allergy. Our food came out, we waited for hers, but gave up and started eating. She was getting dizzy waiting for food and I had too give her my bacon so she could get some protein in her. Finally, the server showed up with guest's side fruit bowl and apologized for the wait for corrected eggs. Apparently, this restaurant doesn't do "On-The-Fly" cooking very well. Overall, too noisy to have a pleasant meal. Food was good. My over easy eggs were so runny they were almost raw. Our guest was able to avoid an allergic reaction, no thanks to the staff. Despite the bad reviews we decided to go try this place. We were sat quickly. The server came and asked for our drinks soon after. I really enjoyed the apple fritter French toast. The rum butter sauce it came with was delicious! The only downside was they said they had a vegan menu but it was a vegetarian menu not vegan. My vegan friend was able to get potatoes fried in oil with fried vegetables. The food was delicious and the service was great. Overall very pleased and I will go back. read more

We went today for Father's Day, knowing it would be crowded, anticipating the wait. We arrived at 10:19, waited about 20 minutes then we're seated. We ordered our food right away.........waited, waited.......finally at 11:50, our food arrives(part of the order), and it was ice cold.......we got up and left, as I'm not waiting an hour and a half for cold food! It's a shame, we had the same experience the first time we went, but gave them some grace since it had just opened. We frequented the one in Tallahassee often, it was our favored breakfast place. My wife and I adore this place. The bartender, Scott, does an amazing job with the Bloody Marys and the spiked coffee. The sausage is the best in Clermont and their potato creations are amazing. We arrived at the restaurant on a Monday around 11 am and were told we'd have to wait 35 mins. The restaurant had plenty of empty tables. Come to find out they were making us wait because of people that had checked in online. In the time we were waiting there, we could have eaten and left! Don't understand why you make people that are PHYSICALLY at your establishment wait for someone that is not there YET. MEANWHILE, I was told it's not a reservation so I don't get why I was made to wait all that time?! The guy at the counter even told me it was because people had checked in before me after I got up to question why all these people are being seated. Then after we get called to be seated ... they sit us at a dirty table. There was a huge puddle on the table and they just placed the menus right on top like we weren't gonna notice it. We called someone over to clean the table and they proceeded to clean the table AND the seats with the same rag as well as other tables which is gross. Then when we finally go to order, they were out of one of their most popular items. How are you out of Apple fritter French toasts???? To sum it up ... they need to do a complete overhaul and tighten things up. This is NOTHING to what I dearly remember from my previous experiences in Indiana. I'd give it a ZERO but not an option. Came here this morning for the first time. We were seated right away. Our waiter came right away to our table and offer different drinks from the menu. When we placed our food order he suggested different sides to choose from and told us his favorite was the potato croquets. We decided to get them and they were delicious. After ordering food, it took an hour and 20 min for it to get to us. Most of the food was cold and stale(old). Other tables that were sat before us haven't even gotten food yet(same size and smaller parties). A few that sat after us received food before us, so there is obviously a disconnect back in the kitchen. Waitress explained coming before 1030am service and food is fast and fresh but after 1030am it gets really backed up and suggests coming in before 1030am. Prices are high. Was $90 bucks before tip for 4 meals, no appetizers or anything special. Management should listen and adjust if their employees are telling customers don't come after a certain time because they know it sucks. read more
