To say I'm obsessed with Carrabba's is an understatement. The soup & salad lunch is an absolute treat. Once I tried it I never went to another chain Italian restaurant. It does end at 3 o'clock, so be sure to get in there on time. I always get all the soups, but the chicken noodle is my favorite. Their house salads are always so fresh and it's tied for number one between the house and the Italian. This is such a hidden gem. I always get seated very quickly, and the staff is so fast and so polite. Even though it's a chain, it does have that cozy, traditional vibe. Dinner at Carrabba's came with an unexpected splash zone experience. We were seated right away -- great start -- but then two waters took a dive off the serving tray and gave the table (and two of our legs) an impromptu bath. Our server looked absolutely horrified, but to his credit, he sprang into action with napkins and apologies. We couldn't help but laugh it off -- after all, who doesn't love a little surprise hydrotherapy with their bread? The restaurant itself was clean, well-lit, and refreshingly not too loud -- a nice change from some places where you have to shout to hear each other. To make up for the spill, he offered free desserts. None of us had room left, but we took them to-go -- because hey, if the appetizer is water, you deserve dessert. My entire family and I went here Saturday evening for our grand daughters birthday. They were able to seat all 14 of us and everyone was able to enjoy each other's company and enjoy their food! I had the linguini Florentine- a new dish, and it was light delicious and more than enough. In fact I took half of it home. Everyone else had various typical dishes which all came out hot, fresh and delicious. We have always been happy with the food, service and atmosphere. You should go you will not be disappointed! This is me and my wife's favorite quick go-to when we want authentic quick date night. They never disappoint. Always a lowkey, chill vibe with the room set up for close intimate conversation. This particular trip is chose to go with my usual. The Tuscan grilled porkchops with mashed potatoes and truffle fries. My wife tried one of their new offerings, the filet and shrimp Toscana. Both dishes were fantastic. We also indulged in their crab cakes as an appetizer. The crab cakes had a nice crab too breading ratio. We will definitelyl be back. Carrabbas has become one of our favorite italian type cuisine here in Clermont. So we frequent here about once a month. I mean that chicken soup alone has me coming back. We always have pretty decent service here, no complaints. We love that you get fresh bread with the oil and italian seasons too! Last night we went and thought there would be a wait because the parking lot was looking pretty full but got seated right away and the place was busy for sure but it didnt impact our service at all. We had Stephanie as a server and great service. I will say they have a system of hospitality that works well. Someone brings the bread, someone brings you water right away while you wait on your drinks which we happened to go durring happy hour so I had a Peach Sangria that was perfect. As an appetizer we got the Burrata Caprese which was our first time having it and it was so good. It seems everytime we go we get something different. My boyfriend has a new found love for scallops so he went with the Scallop Spiedeno di Mare with a salad as a side with Fettuccine Alfredo and added on the grilled asparagus. He loved all of ot and kept saying how good is scallops where that he did the take one meal with you for $10.00. For yhe first time I tried out one of their steak options and went with the 7oz sirloin, with the amazing chicken soup I love. As my sides I got mashed potatoes(a little to whipped) but they were okay, a side of the extra steamed delicious broccoli and added on Fettuccine Alfredo. Although they were busier than usual everything was still great, the atmosphere and ambiance was great as well as a clean establishment. Im sure we will be back in about a month and ask for Stephanie for our future visits. Next time I will make sure to take some pictures. read more

Another waitress greeted me, and took my drink and appetizer order. A few moments later the manager came to my table to apologize for the delay in my greeting! Amazing! My wife and I usually go to Carrabba's in Clermont for lunch once a week and occasionally for dinner. Almost every time we have Amy, who is a stellar and superb waitress. Whatever you're paying her, it is not enough!! She has always been prompt, efficient, polite, and at the top of her game . She even knows what we want even before we sit down because of our regular dining habits! As always, the food is spectacular, the restaurant is very clean and the service is second to none. Today we went in at 4:45 not many customers at that time hostess walked us to a table I asked if if could be possible to have a booth she stated um no I guess I could give you a half booth I understand the areas etc..... I said I would prefer a booth but if you can't I guess we will sit here She replies ok enjoy your dinner and walks off within one minute the 2 top booth in front of us that was dirty she walked over cleaned placed wine glasses looked at us and walked away. We enjoyed a family meal here yesterday, and liked the service (hostess' customer service, waitress's politeness and friendliness) and the food. A crowded place, even on a Monday evening! We liked the fresh bread with olive oil, and maybe because we were hungry, between the 3 kids and I, we devoured 2 baskets. I've visited Carrabba's time after time to enjoy the food and ambiance anytime there was a momentous occasion worth celebrating. This time, I'm mortified by the quality of food that was served. I was unable to finish the Johnny Trio meal that I'd ordered and opted to take the rest of it home. Upon arriving home, in better lighting, I opened up my food container and began eating the rest of the chicken, only to find that it was pink on the inner parts of the chicken breast. Not acceptable! The meat is clearly raw and not cooked all the way through. I gave two stars because the servers were great, however being served raw chicken is not going over well with me. read more

There's just something about Carrabba's environment and ambience that I find so pleasing and relaxing. This is my second time at a Carrabba's at a different location and I'm just loving it. Upon entering, we were greeted by the host who held the door open for us. They were very packed and we thought we were going to have to wait but we were immediately seated. Everyone was just talking loud because everyone was enjoying themselves lol. Our waitress, Stephanie, super helpful and patient with our questions. I ordered an old fashion and I didn't specify a certain whiskey as I wanted to taste their house drink, and omg it was perfect. Just perfect. The drink was made really well, the perfect equilibrium of just too much but subtle lol. And for $7, it was very much worth it. Alright, the food, WOW! I have never enjoyed Fettuccine like I have here. It was clearly made fresh and that sauce... Wow. And they are not lying, it legit has a lot of chicken! The Alfredo sauce was just very mouth savoring and exquiste. I think it's the several peas that are in it, idk, it was just so worth it and a big portion that idk how I ate it all! Lol My husband got the chicken marsala and the chicken was just delicious and fresh. Overall, go for the chicken lol. I love Carrabbas! So imagine how happy I was to see that it was right next door to the Hampton Inn in Clermont. I usually go to the one up north in Central Islip, NY when I visit Long Island (to be reviewed separately). This review is for the Clermont Location. I don't have many NJ locations close by so I was super excited to have them next door on this occasion. I had lunch here with my daughter on Tuesday, August 17. I had the Jonny Rocco Seafood salad and loved it. It had shrimp and scallops on a bed of lettuce, with red onions and Kalamata olives. I can't remember what my daughter had as I threw the receipt away, but whatever it was, she liked. We especially liked the hot bread and their Italian flavored olive oil, which has a medley of parsely, basil, kosher salt, rosemary, oregano, red and black pepper, granulated garlic and fresh garlic. Omg, it is soooo good. A waitress in another location in NJ was the one that told me what was in the seasoning. The waitress was also super friendly and we chatted a bit. I couldn't wait to return. So, on Thursday, August 19, I returned again with my Mom, sister and my daughter. My Mom had the Jonny Rocco salad, I had the linquine pescatore, my sister had the salmon saporito and my daughter had the lobster ravioli. We all loved our food. The portions are big and the food flavorful. It still continues to be my favorite place. The place was a bit crowded when we arrived, so I had my mask on unless I was eating. I can't remember if the waitresses had on masks, so I can't offer information on Covid awareness. All in all, a very good dining experience. read more

I don't like pepper, so we ordered calamari with no pepper but then it also had no salt. I just salted it and it was fine. Their fresh bread is very nice. Service was good although the waiter was a little cranky. My husband had pork chops and says they very good. The garlic mashed potatoes and spinach were excellent. UPDATE (June 2019) We've attended the monthly wine dinner a few times over the past couple years. It is always enjoyable and we have a good time. Usually meet someone new and the food is always excellent. Gives us a chance to branch out and try something new with their pre-selected food and wine pairings. This past one in June was the best! Wines were excellent and the food was incredible. Plus the portions were huge. We ended up taking have our main course home and hit another sneak out of it (ribeye steak). We walked in and sat at the bar. In the past, we usually have had good experiences here, not this time. We sat at the bar and there was no bartender there. When the bartender finally showed up after a good 5-10 minutes. He did not say a word to us even though he was standing in-front of us the entire time. He also did not say anything to another customer who asked for his check. There was some dirty plates and my mom pushed the plates towards the bartender to help him out because he looked like he was trying to reach him. He did not say "thank you" or even acknowledged her. We sat there for a few more minutes and he did not acknowledge us, take our order, or even tell us he was going to help us in a few minutes. We all got irritated and decided to leave.
