This company has not been the same since Covid. The food quality and size has dropped drastically. The only thing they have that's still good is their sweet tea and mozzarella sticks(which is the reason for the 1 star rating). Other than that there is absolutely nothing else worth eating from this establishment. Sad, because this used to be my go to restaurant for quick, fairly priced fried fish. I was very excited to try this place because I was really hoping to find a good quality seafood place, priced reasonably and delicious. Guess what? They met these requirements and then some. :) Upon entering, greeted by the staff. Although young, they were very nice, professional and personalble. We did the sampler to taste all their offerings to see if we would come back and what to order next time. For sure,get anything sea food lol It doesn't mean the chicken wasn't good but it was basic. The fish and shrimp were delicious and perfect combo with the okra and string beans. The Mac and cheese was ok and the cole slaw was good. The dining area was clean and I liked that they bring the food to you. I had a great experience and didn't wait long for the food. Visiting Orlando. Found this place on Yelp and added to our list of places to dine at while here. Reminds me of Long John Silvers that we have in Vegas. Service was a bit slow. Food was hot and fresh. It was just average though, the Mac and cheese was the best part. read more

The food was amazing as always although the Mac n cheese was more cheese than Mac but I couldn't be mad at that. I also had broccoli and it comes with 2 hush puppies. When it comes to fast food seafood, there's really only two choices: LJS or Captain D's, neither which are close to where I live. I personally prefer LJS, but the one "close" to where I live isn't even worth reviewing and they don't have fried clam strips. Stepping in, the menu was a bit overwhelming at first since I'm not use to the choices (even though there's probably only 10 meals total). The colorfulness of the menu made it very pleasing to the eyes though. However, being use to LJS, I was looking for fried clam strips as an add-on, but was disappointed to not see it there. Luckily I decided to read the entire menu and saw it listed as a Starter, jackpot! I ended up ordering a Clam Strip & Butterfly Shrimp Starter and a 2 Fish/Chicken meal (would've been cheaper if I did Clam Strips Starter and Ultimate Sampler meal, but did mental math in a rush). All the food came out hot and crispy, except the cole slaw which was cold and creamy. My meal was delicious (even the hush puppies) and better than expected! I can understand how others can be upset about the sauce bar since the nozzle isn't too high from the counter and it feels like your hand might touch leftover spooge. However, when the front counter calmed down a bit, the manager did a quick round through the dining area wiping down tables and the sauce bar. Maybe I'm being generous with my review, but I don't expect much from fast food restaurants. This location exceeded my expectations! read more

Was there yesterday for the 2nd time for lunch and it will probably be my LAST time. The girl who took our order said "I will NEVER cook here" after she was giving orders to the people in the back. The place is FILTHY & FALLING APART. The floor in the dining area had food all over them again, did NOT look like the pumps for the sauces are EVER CLEANED, benches were dirty. Staff is not helpful in anyway. When they bring your food over and they forgot something you have to get up and go back to the counter to ask for it. I just ordered a side of butterfly shrimp and clam strips. It came out to be $4.25 with four shrimp and a handful of clam strips put in a little box. The shrimp were ok, but I don't understand how someone failed to notice that the clam strips in that very same box were WET AND FROZEN. Someone actually FORGOT TO COOK half of the food. read more

Since moving to the Orlando area, I have been craving a great spot for fish and chips. My wife and I tried this location and had high hopes for it, but sadly were disappointed. In short here was the issues Cleanliness- While the outside was clean, the inside dining room looked like it had not had a good scrubbing in quite some time. Even the sauce area had puddles of old sauce on the counter. Food presentation- While not a big deal in of itself, the plates they serve the meals on looked like they came from a prison kitchen. Even a cheap black styrofoam plate would of looked nicer. Customer service- Employee's didn't seem that friendly or outgoing and seemed like we were bothering them when asking for a refill. When asking about using a coupon for their email club that I signed up for, the cashier told me that the location does not honor them. read more

Well my wife and I were 2 to 3 time a month 7PM, late work day and let's go get some fast food fish. The joint is generally pretty clean and the front counter staff is prompt and courteous. They are the reason this review gets 1 star. Wife and I ordered, place was very busy. Our order number is 247 if anyone cares. We spent 22.73 for two people. I went all out got the loaded potato, salad and extra piece of fish. Woot Woot! Well I started eating and one of the kids came through the dine area and made sure everything was good and brought the extra we asked for. My wife noticed that I had 2 pieces of fish on my 2 Piece Fish and shrimp meal. She asked were the extra fish was. I dig through the shrimp and hush puppies and she was right! She was always the smart one of the family, she can count to 3! So I grabbed my receipt and headed to the counter. Explained the problem to the nice young feller at the counter, he called back to the kitchen to Wayne and said, Hey this guy didn't get his extra piece of fish! Wayne said it is in the box. He looked at me and I said, I can count to 3! (Actually it was my wife that counted..) and Wayne refused to give me my extra $2.29 piece of fish I paid for! So, when the nice boys were sweeping up I asked what the guy in backs name was, that is how I know it is Wayne. And I said... well let's say Wayne should change his name to Richard so we can all call him DICK. Well Wayne be proud of yourself, my wife and I will find someplace else at 7 at night after a long day. Tell your manager how well you did at hacking off a customer over a 50 cent piece of breading with some fish in it. read more

While I agree with the food that is good,the service is not great at all. I am visiting from NYC and my family that lives in Orlando come here often. They love the food but lately have been missing some of their order when they pick up. So when I order a meal for 8 people I made sure I checked my order. Sure enough 4 orders of fries were missing which I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for. Then when I got home I realize from the 3 combo meal they forgot to put the butterfly shrimp. I'm not sure if we will ever be back. read more

I have been going here for the last two years. Never a bad meal or a complaint. Staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. The food is always fresh and hot. The prices are very reasonable. Some of the more pricey places could take a lesson from this one! read more
