We expected a big chain restaurant to be prepared for the promotion however we got margaritas in pint glasses. Tasty dinner with some of the family. We waited about 10-15 minutes for a call ahead seating for a Saturday night, table for 6. Our server was quick and attentive. After hearing all of the reinvigorated hype for Chili's, I decided to stop in recently after seeing a movie at the Cinepolis down the street. I was very impressed with the variety of dishes on the menu from burgers to bowls to quesadillas. I was even more impressed with the quality of service we received as well, which was very attentive. We ordered a burger and a chipotle bowl and both came out incredibly quickly. Quality was on par with what you would expect for the price, but the double burger was phenomenal for the price. Easily this burger was twice the size of what you would get at Shake shack for practically the same price. And it was so juicy! I now understand why the hype has returned for Chili's. Chili's Winter Garden -- Takeout Win on a Busy Friday Night I'd been craving Chili's for way too long, so we finally made the stop last night for a pickup order. Good thing we did -- the Winter Garden Village location was packed. Friday-night chaos at its finest. Note to self: dine-in is a Tuesday activity only. For takeout, though? A total win. Chili's has a huge menu, and their famous Triple Dipper was perfect for my wife. She picked wings, sliders, and mozzarella squares -- all solid choices and all came out hot and tasty. I went with the Bacon Rancher burger, and honestly, it surprised me. Juicy patties, crispy bacon, and tons of flavor. One of the better chain-restaurant burgers I've had in a while. The fries and ranch? Also on point. We had a gift card to use, which made the whole meal even sweeter. For a busy Friday, everything was fresh, fast, and exactly what we were hoping for. Chilis is just not what it used to be. I was in the area visiting family (I live in a state where Chili's doesn't exist) and I was so excited to finally try the saucy mozzarella sticks. I tried three of each sauce, they were both extremely salty, I didn't even finish one of each stick. I also didn't like how they were served lukewarm. Everyone online has these amazing cheese pulls, yea, it was non existent. I could see them being okay if they were served piping hot, and not dipped in anything. We go here several times a month mainly due to the reasonable prices, good food and atmosphere along with the great service we receive from a couple of our favorite servers, like Andrea and Brooke. They offer a monthly margarita of the month. It used to be $5, then went to $6. On Monday, it looks like it is now $7. The monthly Marg is premixed, but depending on the drink of the month, some have been pretty strong. They offer a wide range of food. Most people are probably very familiar with Chili's as it's a national chain but wanted to point out a couple things people may miss out on. The 3 for me deal is one of the better deals you can get here. In some cases, you are paying less for an entree than ordering it by itself on the menu, yet it comes with an appetizer and drink. The bottomless soup and salad is a good option when you want soup and salad and can't decide. You can choose house or caesar salad along with any of the soup choices. You don't have to stick with that choice when you get a refill and it's only $1-2 more than the standard single serve soup and salad entree. It is excellent, great food, great service, and great value. My favorite is the Old Timer with Cheese. It is the Chili's burger of old. The lunch menu is great value and worth being a regular. I come to this place 2 or 3 times a year even though it's across the country from me. It doesn't disappoint. That could be because I'm an absolute Chili's addict. There's only been one time where the service was questionable and unfortunately that was when I was with my parents bringing them to let them experience the great service I've received. I just took a little bit longer that night and the server was just not on it like normal. The chips and salsa are always the same with very crisp chips and delicious salsa. The caso that I get is the skillet J so and it tastes delicious with little bits of meat in it. The meals we get are always good. My father particularly enjoyed the ribs. I enjoyed my steak but I was so full from eating too many chips. Lol Mom enjoyed her sandwiches that she selected and we enjoyed the new Mini molten lava cake... Now the real highlight comes from the mango iced tea and it's probably the main reason I'm addicted to Chili's besides the chips and salsa. I happen to adore the mango iced tea. In fact I'm known for ordering 2 at a time and drinking 6 to 8 in a single sitting. It's just something I love. No matter what chili's I'm in they're consistently good. Same mediocre chain menu at every restaurant, but it gets an extra star because frankly, we walked in 70 mins. before closing after having left a theme park with 4 kids and 3 adults and they served us with smiles. Took close to 30 minutes to remake my meal, which at least they did that. We were stastacking our cups and dishes aside, as gathering them from the table was few and far between.
