This place is a definite vibe! Our first time was for Valentines dinner. Service was amazing. The appetizers were not things we would typically choose, but really enjoyed. The mushrooms were so good! The lobster was excellent, but the risotto was definitely undercooked. That braised short rib was the start and made me say risotto who? The music was great. The lady with the tinsel hair kept things on track and was so pleasant checking on everyone. We had to take the dessert home- but wow!!! We definitely look forward to coming back again

We went for the high tea and it was wonderful! The food was delicious, especially the chicken salad sandwich and the scones with clotted cream. We really loved their teas we selected as well, I believe mine was a biscotti one and it was so good. We plan to go back again for another high tea but also dinner.

Kopparberg mixed fruit tropical cider - 8 dollars

For your entertainment and information, I am bringing you decent food and good service in a bit boring and somewhat inside voice atmosphere. Live music is there, but the music seemed to be quite soft. You may think this weirdness has brought you to the Twilight Zone or Futurama's The Scary Door. But no, you have actually entered Winter Garden's The Attic Door. Introducing the protagonist, myself, having dinner at 8pm on a Saturday. I made a reservation using OpenTable. Upon entering, I got seated immediately at the small table in a corner near the bar area. I was given water immediately and found out that cocktails are not served, so I settled on a crafted tropical fruit cider for 8 dollars. It was by Kopparberg and tasted fruity without being sour. There was only 4 percent alcohol content, so it felt like that a kid lightly tagged me and said that's it. For food, I was informed the pulled pork stacker (15 dollars) would be the most filling. It came quite quickly, and as an appetizer size, which should have been shared. But it was small enough for me to eat the whole thing. There was an ample amount of pulled pork with coleslaw, chives, fried onions, and a good amount of pickled jalapenos. It was on top of creamy polenta. I was asked first if I liked jalapenos and after telling them that I really enjoyed them, it looks like they provided an extra amount of them. The pickling took away most of the heat, and the polenta helped balance it as well. The pork was tender and had a light bbq flavor. The dish was quite filling without making me stuffed. Thus I decided to try the banana foster bread pudding (10 dollars) for dessert. It took a while because it came directly from the oven. It was presented in a skillet, which I wasn't informed that it would be quite hot. The bread pudding was ok and surprisingly on the lighter side without being too sweet. The brandy sauce could have been stronger as I didn't really taste the spirit (pun intended). The highlight were the bananas as they are sweet and very tasty from being brulee'd by a torch. My server was friendly and informative. He helped me choose wisely from the menu so I can feel full without being stuffed. I was however surprised that my main dish came quickly while my dessert took time. The dining room area was a bit small and can get crowded, especially during the time when there is live entertainment. One room has a bar with some seating areas, while the other room is more for the lounging and kitchen area. Next to the entrance is where the musician plays. When I was there, it looked to be a guitarist playing boring soft rock music. During the breaks, it was the same type of music piped softly from the soft conversational background by the guests. While it wasn't too quiet, you can feel the library or guesthouse vibe from the patrons using their inside voices. And the library vibe continued from the amount of books in the bar, the drapes from the ceiling and windows, and the lounging area that is comfortable enough to read books. There was a small outdoor seating area in the front for people watching, and enjoying the cars passing by. If you are lucky, you can park directly in the street and walk to the restaurant. However, most likely you will find easier parking at the free garage nearby. Reservations are recommended when there is live entertainment as waiting can be up to an hour without one. From the decent food and service in a library like atmosphere that has music and patrons using their inside voices, the weirdness can make one feel like being in the Twilight Zone or Scary Door. But instead, you are actually in the Winter Garden's B Rated bistro, The Attic Door.

Drove 3 and a half hours north to this area for my 32nd birthday and this was the first place we stopped to eat. What an absolute gem! The atmosphere is calm and cozy. There was live music, but it wasn't loud and added to the vibe of the restaurant. We had the deviled eggs (which are a must!) And the spinach dip. Deviled eggs were unlike your typical deviled egg, these were bursting with flavor! The spinach dip was very good and cheesy, chips were fresh. For our entrees we got the smoked salmon Flatbread which was unlike anything I've ever had before. Was light, zesty, tangy and crispy. We also got the mushroom fricassee pappardelle pasta which was literally to die for. An absolute must if you come. Had lots of variety of mushrooms, and all the flavors worked really well together. Hunter was our server and was incredibly attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

One side of the Attic door, this is the bar area. There's another side that is like a seating: sofas and chair area.

This is one of the most adorable, cozy, and relaxing places on Plant Street in Winter Garden. There generally is live music in the evenings, the seating is comfortable, there is plenty of service people to help with wine, beer, and tapas orders. Over the last couple years, the menu has been improving exponentially. Many delightful, mini sandwiches, and food. I definitely recommend you try this place. It is getting increasingly popular, so I suggest you go to open table to make reservations, If you know you were going ahead of time. You can also usually sit at the bar. But last night the bar was full also. very popular. The bar is run very efficiently, and although it is very busy, the service is quite brisk. If you can, ask to be in server Kim's section. She is funny and lots of delightful quips as she serves you. The other servers are efficient also, but Kim has just been there longer and I know her personally.

Really a cool spot in downtown Winter Garden for a quick happy hour or light sit down meal! My husband and I love to sit on the patio when it's nice out and get a couple glasses of their house wine. They always have a creative dinner specials and desserts. One of our favorites is their creme brulee we have had funky flavors like carrot cake and sweet potato pie! There tends to be an older crowd here but that can be typical of a wine bar. Several of the plates we have had are more like appetizers so if you are looking for a full dinner option let the server know.

There is an elevator that will take you to the second floor and the entrance to Pilars Martini & Loft is right in front of you when you exit. There are also restrooms available and medium sized air-conditioned lobby where you can take calls if Pilars has live music inside. Pilars is an upscale lounge and music club. When we arrived, the live entertainment was setting up for later that evening. It was actually nice having the calm contrast to what was happening in the streets currently. Food here seems fairly high-end; it's Market-to-table so everything is a bit pricy. Appetizers start at $14, one of their most expensive appetizers is Seared Foie Gras ($26). If you're not a big spender, they do have Chicken Wings or BBQ Short Rib Sliders for $14, and a Market Burger for $16. If you're looking for something a little more special, they have Filet Mignon ($86), Lamb Shank ($42), Braised Beef Short Ribs ($46), and Iberico Pork ($76). Most of their specialty drinks will run you between $12-$14. Beers are between $6-$9 and non-alcoholic drinks anywhere between $2.50-$8. We didn't stay too long because we were bopping around checking out different places during the festival, but if you are looking for a great place to take a date or have a nice evening out with friends, listening to great live music and Jazz this is a premier spot in the Winter Garden area.

For anyone who has ever wanted to have a "Cheers" of their own, the place where everybody knows…read moreyour name, Bella Tuscany in Windermere is that place for me. After trying every "mom and pop" type Italian place in the area, we quickly settled on Bella Tuscany thanks to their absolutely amazing sauces and the best meatballs I've ever had - and I'm on Sicilian descent. But what truly makes Bella Tuscany "our place" is the people, who have become familiar fixtures for us every week. Two servers in particular, Bill and Marlon, always make my family - specifically my mom, who has dementia but always responds to her friends at Bella Tuscany and food that reminds her of her family's own - feel like like a million bucks. They're always ready with a smile and a hug and know what we want before we order it. Tim, our favorite bartender, has my mom's Chardonnay and my bourbon ready seconds after we sit down, always with a smile and extra special treatment for my mom. And then there's the manager, Eric, our "Sam Malone," who treats mom like royalty and has become just as big part of our visits as the amazing food. These folks give the place a personality and a familial environment that elevate it above all other Italian places in our area, and they'll ensure we keep coming back. Be sure to try the Penne a la Vodka - the best in Orlando - and the meatball sandwich, which is nothing short of life-changing. Go for the food and stay for the family you'll make there! Not only was the food delicious, but our waiter, Marlon was phenomenal. It is very hard to find good service these days and he was incredibly attentive to detail, quick on his feet, yet took his time with his guests. He was an excellent listener and made sure we were happy with everything he brought out. To us, the service at even the best restaurant can make or break the entire event. To us, it could have tasted the worst but because of someone like Marlon, it would have made it! Marlon has worked there 8 years now and you can tell he knows his stuff. This is not just a Job to him, this is his profession. Well done Marlon, I hope your hard work and dedication doesn't go unnoticed!! As far as the food and atmosphere, WOW. We lived in Italy for 2 years and we can say the food was incredible...SO delicious. The meatballs were outstanding and had delicious flavor. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, something simple yet a classic favorite. The fried Calamari had a delicious light batter to it. My family's meal was also delicious and they enjoyed theirs the same. One had the Linguine Carbonara, another the Gnocchi Bolognese and both said it was the best they've ever had. The atmosphere was very classy and very romantic, yet very nice for a special large family gathering or celebration. Although the location seems awkward when you pull up, don't let that fool you because as soon as you sit down you completely forget where you are and your very relaxed well deserved evening starts to take place.
