I am actually surprised how good my food was. The service was very good! We sat at the bar for happy hour and the restaurant was so busy on a Friday after work. Rachel helped us and she was very nice and was able to multi task by being attentive to us while making A LOT of drinks. The Dragonfruit No-Hito was DELICIOUS! (Mocktail). We ordered the bang bang chicken off the happy our menu and it was good. Not like the shrimp... but it was good. We ordered their $45.99 meal for 2 which comes with a soup or salad, 4 pieces of seafood and 2 premium sides. I had the Caesar salad and my friend had the chowder soup. Both were tasty as well. For the main dish, the meal comes with ahi tuna, mahi mahi, salmon and shrimp. We ordered the Au Gratin Potatoes and the Brussels sprouts. Blake was very observant and asked if everything was fine with our food as we do not eat Ahi Tuna. He was very nice in letting us choose another piece of fish to substitute. We arrived around 545 on a Saturday. We did not realize that they have their social hour every day of the week between about four and 630 so the bar area was incredibly busy. We were fortunate that we were able to find two seats at the bar, but other than that it was packed the entire time we were there. I opted for the old-fashioned cedar plank, salmon with asparagus and jasmine rice. It was delicious. The salmon was perfectly seasoned and that cherry glaze was amazing. I also had a bees knees cocktail as well as the Winter Cosmo. Both were delicious My husband got the fillet and lobster combo with broccoli and mashed potatoes again the food was delicious really well done. He also got a smoked old-fashioned and it was perfect. Now we did opt to get an appetizer because during their social hour select appetizers are only seven dollars. We got the banging chicken bites and it had been a while since we've gotten even the banging shrimp but the recipe definitely feels like it had changed as it was not nearly as spicy as it used to be. Stopped by the Winter Garden location during their $5 martini + margarita promo on Mondays . Tried three martinis: first two were super sweet, and the other one was a dirty martini which it was strong and definitely for those who like a kick. Also had the bang bang shrimp and it was amazing! Shoutout to Zack, my server super friendly and accommodating. Only downside: the smell when I walked in. Not fishy, but kind of like dirty floors? Took me a bit to get used to it. If you've got a sensitive nose, just a heads up. I'll probably check out another Bonefish location to compare. read more

I admit I haven't been to Bonefish in maybe a decade. The food was excellent. The service was solid except for the bar. We waited over 15 minutes twice for a beer. Our table had empty drinks (with new ones on order) for 2/3 of our meal. Menu offers grilled fish but no option for blackened, spicy, Cajun, etc. Easy add. Tuna and Bang Bang shrimp apps did not disappoint, Grouper was excellent. Fish tacos (you can get those blackened) were good but could have used pico/salsa or spice. Butterfish was "fishy" which was odd. Small, crowded, loud location. But, obviously popular. read more

Open Table helped us get a reservation in a timely manner at Bonefish Grill on a busy Friday night. Shane and Taylor provided warm, friendly service. The bang bang shrimp was excellent and consistent with taste, flavor, and portion size as our experiences at other BG locations. The chowder was equally tasty. I very much enjoyed the grilled shrimp and scallops with ample rice and broccoli. Ideally, it would have a pasta option (I didn't inquire). I could skip the bread and the pesto lacks flavor (just good olive oil would be fine). All in all we enjoyed dining at this location. Stopped in for happy hour at Bonefish Grill and was really pleased with my experience! The blueberry lemon drop I ordered was one of the best lemon drops I've ever had -- and at half price, it was a total win. We sat at the bar because they were hosting a monthly private event, but that worked out perfectly for us. Our server was super attentive and even gave us a quick rundown of the private event, sharing how to join in on the fun next time. We stuck to appetizers to go with our drinks. The ahi tuna wonton crisps were packed with flavor, and we also tried the bang bang chicken. It was good, but I'm still partial to the bang bang shrimp! Back for another birthday dinner , this time she's 21. We invited several family members so party of seven. We started off with several appetizers and all was delicious. Ceviche, bang bang & calamari. By the time our food arrived I was already full so I just ate one taco, comes with three on the fish tacos. Our server was very attentive and was always filling waters and cocktails or offering wine. She brought a cheese cake for her birthday. This experience was average at best. We made reservations, but still ended up waiting about 20 minutes. The hostess was clearly overwhelmed but a little rude in the process. The high chair was very clean, which we appreciated. Crab topped fries were great as always. The blueberry lemon drop martini is my go-to as its my favorite drink of all time! My husband got the mule and said it was great. Our entrees are where the ball dropped. The batter for my shrimp was flavorless, which was a let down. My husband also said this pasta lacked flavor. Bonefish is always an upscale experience. I wish we didn't have to drive 32 miles but it's worth it. It took a while for eyes to adjust to a dark interior but as they did, the light revealed white tablecloths, and upscale fishy art on the walls. Our server, Robin was friendly, polite and Johnny on the spot. The menu has been somewhat reduced since our last visit, or maybe it was just lunch. Either way, my wife would order Lily's chicken without looking. It is fragrantly spiced and smothered in cheese. The chicken is moist and I don't know where they get them, but the flavor hasn't been bred out of their flocks. I had a hard time deciding, but ultimately the bourbon glazed salmon appealed most. We started with blackened chicken egg rolls and scarfed up the two small bowls of dip. My salmon was a generous cut, well covered in glaze and came with delectable roasted potatoes and green beans with sautéed mushrooms. My wife and I decided to go back to Bonefish once more before we flew back home to Massachusetts and we're so glad we did!!! Today we started with Lobster Bisque, then she had the Filet Thermidor special while I had a Fliet Mignon and crab cake on the side off the Perfect Pairings menu. First off, our server Carlos was great. The food is barely tolerable. I really don't know why my family keeps wanting to come here. The mega mall that encompasses this corner of Winter Garden is always packed with tourists and the traffic is insane. My Bang Bang Benedict from the Sunday Brunch menu arrived on a stale, seemingly untoasted English muffin that just made me sad. The eggs were over-poached which denied me the pleasure of a nice unctuous yolk to run over my shrimp. The stingy application of hollandaise sauce was maddening as the dish was begging for some moisture to rescue it. The spicy potatoes on the side were fine. The beer rescued my meal from being a total disaster. Carlos is overworked and deserves kudos for attempting to make everything right. Bonefish Grill was good many years ago. I ordered a salad with salmon and my mom ordered a burger. The food came out fairly quickly and tasted ok. I really think this place is overpriced. I feel like I could have gotten similar items at Chilis or Applebees for a much better price. I don't particularly like Chilis or Applebees, so now I'm going to have to put Bonefish in the same category of chain restaurants that I don't really like. I mean, if this is where everyone else wants to eat, you can find something to eat, but don't expect too much. As for the service... meh. I didn't find our server very friendly and she didn't check on us after I told her that I didn't love the food, but that it was "ok". We brought family here that were visiting from out-of-town for an exceptional seafood dinner. As I typically always do, I ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp for an appetizer for the table. The flavor is always so consistently amazing, and even people who don't like spicy foods always enjoy the flavor and slight spiciness of the Bang Bang sauce. A manager delivered our Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer and mistakenly dropped a shrimp or two on the floor right before she set the plate on our table. She seemed concerned about getting the floor dirty, whereas I was concerned that she just dumped a couple of dollars' worth of shrimp off our plate. I assumed she was going to return with a few more shrimp to make up for the mistake. Nope. It was a bit off-putting. Particularly from a manager who did not correct her own mistake. We didn't say anything to our server Carlos, and we never saw the manager again. Typical restaurant management, I guess. I love the seafood entrees at Bonefish, but I've been a bit disappointed the last few times we've gone since they removed my favorite menu items. I always ordered the tuna steak (rare) with whipped potatoes and creamed spinach. Gone. Well, the tuna and creamed spinach are anyways. And those were always my highlights because those are foods I don't typically cook at home. A poke bowl is on the menu, but not a tuna steak. Very disappointing. And there are limited vegetable options (that aren't starches) on the side item menu without the creamed spinach there. And what's with all the premium sides for an extra few dollars a piece? So I think the menu could use some retooling. Anyway, I ordered the Mahi Mahi with chimichurri sauce and chose whipped potatoes and broccoli as my sides. It was all very tasty, but I'm glad I had the chimichurri sauce to dip everything in for extra pizzazz because the broccoli doesn't come with anything on it. I came here with a friend from out of town. We were looking for something a little more "stepped-up" from a typical specialty restaurant that is not fast food. And we ended up coming here, and it was just what we expected. We just walked in with no reservation and were impressed with the flavor of the food and the nice presentation. There were definitely some highs and some lows with our experience here, but overall it was a yummy meal and better than I expected. I wasn't a huge fan of the appetizer we got. We ordered the beef and ginger potstickers, and I found them to be very bland with no ginger flavor whatsoever. I passed up on eating more of this and instead dived into the bread, which was perfectly fresh and crispy and came with this delicious olive oil and herb dipping sauce. For dinner I ordered one of their specials, Rockefeller Butterfish. It was a black cod topped jumbo lump crab and spinach in this creamy sauce. It came with two sides, of which I chose the side salad and asparagus. First off, the salad. This is one of the best side salads I've had. It was so unique and had great flavors instead of being your typical boring lettuce, tomato, and crouton combo. This one had hearts of palm, kalamata olives, and sunflower seeds with a citrus herb vinaigrette. It was so refreshing and delicious. The meal itself was delicious as well. It was a pretty decent portion size. I was only a little disappointed in the amount of spinach and crab topping I got. Would have liked more. But the fish was perfectly flaky and very flavorful. My husband really enjoyed his Baja fish tacos. He said the fries, though, were not good at all. Soggy and kind of old tasting. Ambiance was not my favorite (it was very noisy and there seemed to constantly be people walking around and passing by our table), and the service could have been a bit better, more attentive. While it definitely wasn't the best meal I've ever had, and there were parts of the meal that we didn't enjoy as much, as a whole, our meal was still surprisingly delicious and exceeded my expectations. read more

Made a reservation online for Saturday night. Parking was a bit tight, but I was able to find one near the mall. I arrived 30 minutes early and just needed to wait 5 minutes for a table. I asked the waiter for a drink recommendation and he suggested the margarita with mezcal (11 dollars). I took his advice, and it did take some time for it to come. After 15 minutes, the drink came with an apology for the wait. It was a sour drink with some orange juice in it, but still a strong drink with a good amount of mezcal. For my entree, I took the trout (19 dollars) with coleslaw and spinach (3 dollar surcharge). It came shortly after my drink. The trout was fresh and flaky and my requested sauce of pan Asian had the right amount of soy and sesame seeds. The coleslaw and spinach complemented well, but I did enjoy the spinach more as the cream they added made it really tasty. The service was friendly, but a bit careless. When I asked for some asparagus to go, it came plated with my fish, and when I mentioned it to my server, I was handed a box for me to place them myself. When it came to paying for the check, I was mischarged by a dollar for my sides. I also mentioned it to a server, who then offered me a free bang bang shrimp coupon (a 12 dollar value) next time I visit, which I accepted. The atmosphere is quite small and casual for a bonefish grill, and not too loud either. There was outdoor seating, but I preferred the air conditioned indoor seating. Even though the service was a bit off for me, I did enjoy the friendliness and helpfulness of all, and the really good food and drinks. This restaurant is in the winter garden village and has lots of seating inside and out, and it seemed nice and tidy. We had calamari as an appetizer, which was pretty good. We had a couple of drinks. The lychee martini was so sweet. I had to keep adding water to it to be able to drink it. We had some pasta with grilled shrimp, which was pretty tasty and we had a special of Sea bass (I thought it was a small serving) with asparagus and jasmine rice, but they were out of the sauce that was supposed to come with the special so I had to chose one of the usual toppings for the Fish dishes, that was disappointing. It was only 530 and they were already out of the sauce. Like I said it was early so we got seated promptly and our waiter was efficient if not a little rushed. We think it's pricey for the portions but we blame that on the state of our country right now not the restaurant. All in all, we did enjoy our dinner so we will be back. read more

Runnnnn don't walk and order yourself the toasted pumpkin ravioli seasonal appetizer! This dish literally was perfection! It's an appetizer but it comes with so many raviolis that I was able to make it a meal. It has such a great pumpkin flavor that is not fake tasting. The breading is crispy and perfect next to the warm pumpkin filling and then it's accompanied by a sauce. This dipping sauce has a lime taste to it and is filled with pumpkin seeds, followed by generous sprinkles of feta cheese on top of the whole dish. It has been some time since our last visit (3 years!) and I'm happy to say they have not lost their touch. Imperial dip was cheesy/seafood savory and a great starting point. Fresh apple martini tasted like a baked apple and was off the seasonal menu. For entrees we had the shrimp kung pow noodles and the scallop/ shrimp skewer, they were both very good. The kung pow was sweet with just a touch of heat which enhanced the overall dish.we tried 3 different sauces with the skewer oriental, mango, lemon butter. The best is the mango followed by the lemon butter. You can order as many sauces as you want they will bring separate services of each. Our waiter Danny was very attentive and definitely enhanced the whole experience. Hopefully going forward we will visit more often read more

The server was actually nice and for some of the things we ordered, we should have listened to him, as he did not recommend a few items that we ended up ordering anyway. How bad could a lobster bisque be? Or a beef dumplings for appetizers? Trust me, it can be bad! My wife had the Mahi mahi, and that went well over half to the trash. The ridiculous mango salsa are actually pieces of mango on top of the dry, hard and tasteless square of Mahi Mahi. Looked like straight out of the microwave! We ordered some sort of Parmesan risotto as sides for our fish dishes and oh boy, whoever invented the risotto would have a heart attack seeing that. You couldn't eat it. Worst I've had in my life. They were nice enough and remove the awful dumpling appetizers and ridiculous lemon watered rice sides out of the check, but that's not changing our minds about ever being back.
