He opted to get the voodoo pasta which I had ordered as well. The chicken in the voodoo pasta was also overdone and on the chewy side due. Pasta sauce was definitely bland in comparison to the sauce from a special the week prior that our same waiter had said was actually the voodoo sauce. Sad that nothing came out how we'd hoped, especially on a celebration day. One last note for readers: the dining room to the back right of the restaurant is extremely loud and hard to hear even those you are dining with, regardless of the number of tables filled.

While the center was cooked okay, the steak arrived only lukewarm, which made it seem like it may have been cooked too early and sat before being served. On top of that, the exterior was so heavily charred that every bite tasted burnt and completely overpowered the flavor of the meat. For a steak at this price point, that level of quality was really disappointing. What made the experience worse was the confusion over pricing. Since the tomahawk was listed at market price, we specifically asked beforehand and were quoted $125 by our server. When the bill came, we were charged $175. After my husband questioned it, the explanation became unclear, and we were ultimately told $125 was the correct price and the bill was adjusted. Had we not spoken up, we would have been overcharged by $50. We really wanted to love this place for a special occasion and appreciate supporting local businesses, but overall the experience ended up being just okay.

There was a slightly drop off in the level of service as things got busier and we waited awhile for our check. Everyone was friendly but I could tell the servers were stretched a little thin trying to keep up with everything. We plan to come back the next time we're over in the Winter Garden area!

A new name for an old favorite…read more We stopped for lunch on a beautiful weekday. Parking lot was surprisingly empty even though Bike Week was going on over on the coast. A nicely prepared hamburger and a delightful bacon-stuffed BLT both hit the spot. We didn't get our requested medium rare, but it was tasty nonetheless. The BLT was served on toasted and buttered bread. Don't see butter much - seems to always be mayo. It was great. Having an abundance of bacon certainty sealed the deal. The cole slaw was creamy and looked and tasted freshly-made. The black beans and rice side was a pleasant surprise and delicious. Our service was prompt and efficient. This place can succeed if it keeps serving good food like we had.
