We tried the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, queso dunk, Zingers Mountain Melt, and the Ghirardelli chocolate brownie sundae and everything came out fresh, hot, and flavorful. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich was packed with flavor, and the queso dunk was a fun and tasty addition. The Zingers Mountain Melt was loaded and definitely satisfying, perfect if you're looking for something hearty. However, when the food arrived my son had a long hair in his plate. The server did apologize and offered to have it remade. The manager came over and apologized also. Unfortunately, by the time his food came, we are all done eating and he lost his appetite from waiting so long. The standout, though, was the Ghirardelli chocolate brownie sundae. We usually go to Millers once per month or so, try different dishes. Each time we go we have wonderful waiters/ waitresses etc. they make very good recommendations for dishes to try. Out of town guest visiting for the first time. I had a great experience here on a Saturday evening with some friends. There was a bit of a wait to get a table, but they are popular and I think it's well deserved. Staff was polite and our server, Tommy K., was great. He followed up and checked in on us frequently, and showed a lot of patience when I changed my order suddenly. The manager also checked in with us which I appreciated. The foot itself was very good; I got fries, the Mimi's Fiesta with blackened salmon and the Captain Jack's dessert. The fiesta and the salmon were cooked really well, and everything paired nicely together. I paid $42 including tip. The Captain Jack dessert is a MUST have!! I'm still thinking about it several days later that's how good it is! If you love chocolate, Oreo and ice cream you'll love it! It's a sports bar - nothing to really write home about as far as the food, but it's typical sports bar fare which was satisfactory for what we were looking for. I had the shrimp/chicken salad which was good (the shrimp were seasoned well and tails already removed)and the cajun ranch was quite tasty. Our server was very kind and just moved to the area. Listen, it's an Ale House so if you're familiar with the chain, you know what you're getting here. We've been to a bunch of locations so we know our favorite menu items already. We were seated quickly on a Friday at 5:30 pm. Service was good! We were checked on frequently and the waitress was friendly enough. I got a mountain melt which if you don't know is theeee thing to order here - I got it with sweet thai chili sauce on the chicken today & it was exactly what I needed as a post work Friday night indulgence. We also tried the pot stickers tonight - that was a new one for us and we really enjoyed them! Good portion & flavor. These new Ale House 2023 and new are changing my POV of Ale house from back in the day! This is the second new Ale House I've been too and I am so happy it's close to me! They were packed but wait time was ten minutes. Regardless, we sat at the bar! We had a bit of a slow start at the bar but then perceived the situation as many staff members had a problem with a certain bar tender. Nonetheless, our server/bartender Kyle was friendly and made sure we were taken cared off. He made our drinks so perfectly, made sure our waters were refilled and always got our condiments when needed. He made my old fashion so perfectly.... I want one just writing this! The food - omg ! It didn't take long AND it was a nice hot and delicious! My nachos were perfect especially the taste like wow! And my husband's burger was also delicious and made just right. I ate here for late night dinner recently. There was plenty of seating available. The service was good and the manager even checked in on us and was helping run food. The restaurant was clean and they had on all the baseball and basketball games. The menu has a ton of options for appetizers and entrees and the prices are reasonable. My date had wings and they looked delicious and were big in size. I had the chicken fajitas. The chicken was cooked well but I thought the portion was just a little small. The bartenders and servers are great. I've been going since the doors opened. Good spot for a quick lunch or drink. However the GM Mr. Barry seems to abuse his power as he's very aggressive towards some guests like myself and his employees. The right to decline service is understandable. But his demeanor and unprofessional way of doing it is very disturbing for this company to allow. I'm "ban" after Mr. Barry provoked me finishing my drink at the end of the night. Not sure what has happened I used to come here often but my last visit was pretty bad. Server forgot my fries with my order. Ordered a steak and wings. The steak was very dry not well cooked. The wings were very undercooked my stomach started to hurt. The manger was nice and removed it from the bill but the kitchen has completely changed. ALLE HOUSE - CLERMONT LOCATION: Hello everyone, I'd like to share a quick heads-up based on a recent experience I had at the Ale House location in Clermont, FL -- something I think other customers should be aware of before visiting. Although the food was good and the service in general was friendly, I encountered an unexpected restriction regarding wine consumption that I've never seen in any other Ale House location. Here's what happened: I ordered a bottle of wine and a single glass just for myself, as I've done many times before at other units. But shortly after, I was told by the staff that I couldn't drink the bottle alone unless others at the table also agreed to drink the same wine. To make things worse, they said that if someone at the table wanted to order a different drink (like a cocktail), they would have to wait until the wine was fully consumed. This rule made the situation uncomfortable, as it felt like I was being monitored or restricted in what I could drink, despite simply trying to enjoy a casual moment with family. To be clear: I've been to the 535 location and the Kirkman Road location in the past few weeks and never had any issues ordering wine while others ordered different drinks. I also couldn't find any Florida law or official Miller's Ale House policy that supports this kind of restriction. In fact, state law allows customers to take home unfinished bottles of wine under standard conditions. So even though I enjoyed the food and overall experience, I think it's important to point this out so that others are aware this could happen at the Clermont location. It might not be a company-wide policy, but it was strongly enforced by the local manager (Barry) during my visit. If you plan to visit this location, just be aware that they might apply this rule -- even if it doesn't exist elsewhere. Hope this helps others avoid surprises. Cheers! Been here a couple of times now and it is a decent spot! There are a ton of people who always visit so there could be a wait time depending on the day (Sundays YES, Tuesday's not so much). The food itself is pretty comparable to most Ale House restaurants - we usually get the zingers or the steak salad and both weren't bad at all. Unfortunately, it feels like they have changed the base recipe for the zingers and my wife doesn't like them as much anymore. The layout of the restaurant is easy on the eyes and the number of TVs helps to give you something to watch if you need to. This Miller's Ale House needs more time to get their kitchen moving in the right direction. We were a table of seven and they failed miserably. The thing that sticks with me is that you know when you are putting out subpar food. Both pretzel appetizers came to the table room temperature, hard and stale tasting. The nachos looked great on the first layer but underneath was a large pile of itty bitty pieces. Tortilla pieces so small that you would have to eat it with a spoon. The entrees followed...
