Been here a few times. View is lovely, bowls are tasty. Thought this would make a nice "date day" venue. Went to the lounge around 1pm to grab a bite before signing up for a day of putt-putt. Plenty of seating available. Asked our blonde server, Kameron G., where we sign up for putt-putt. The response was, "Here." She seemed very annoyed and completely put off with having to bring a martini and glass of water. We had menus and were ready to order and sign up to play putt-putt. After ignoring us for 20 min, she returns with the martini and asks if we are ready to order. By now we feel unwelcome and neglected. Asked for the check and left. Disappointing experience and this server cost them a potentially a minimum $100 day. Do better! read more

You can reserve a hitting bay, bring your own clubs or rent some on-site, grab a bucket of balls, and choose from a variety of interactive games that make it enjoyable whether you're a golfer or not. Food and drinks are easy to get. Your server comes right to your bay, or you can order at the bar. We tried the mozzarella sticks, sliders, cheese pizza, and margherita pizza. The food was decent. Nothing particularly memorable, but perfectly fine for snacking while enjoying drinks and hitting balls. There are also plenty of things to do beyond the driving range. Kids will enjoy the small play area, and there's ping pong and a putting green, making it easy to entertain everyone in your group. The view really is the star of the show. It's beautiful, and being up on one of Clermont's rolling hills gives you a nice breeze, even on a hot Florida summer day. Who knew Florida had hills? After a couple of hours, though, the heat definitely caught up with us. We planned to cool off by having dinner inside, but on a Saturday evening the restaurant was packed. We probably could have waited for a table, but the indoor dining area was quite warm, so we ended up heading somewhere else for dinner. Overall, we had a great time. It's a fun outing for both kids and adults, and I'd definitely recommend it for an afternoon or evening with friends or family. This place has it all, beautiful setting, friendly attentive service, and surprisingly good food. The View sits on top of one of the highest points in Clermont and you can see out for miles. We sat outside and the tables were picnic style. All menu items were pretty reasonable, nothing over $15. We shared a bottle of wine for $22. I had the quesadilla which was packed with chicken and overflowing with cheese. The kids had the burger sliders and chicken fingers which were good size portions. Our friends had two of the bowls and they were overflowing with toppings. There was also a ton of grass space for the kiddos to run around. (It's not directly an up-charge to do this, they give you a credit for not taking a regular side, then charge the normal amount for the Loaded Tots.) The sandwich was a basic but well-done American on Sourdough bread, decently grilled. Very average. But the tots! So good! I was a little worried about the Chipotle Aioli, but it turned out not to be very spicy, and along with the bacon (mmm, bacon!), sour cream and queso, they turned good tots into great. This place is called the View for a reason, it has a beautiful view. I have been there already twice and I can say that ambiance is great. However, the first time I visited this place the service was not that great we had to wait at least 45 minutes to get service since we brought our dogs, on top of that the bill was wrong and then it was a big deal to get it fixed and even so it was still wrong . They serve food from food trucks that they bring outside per say, however there's a dining room inside that I haven't done in. The drinks are $$ and is not a large. I have not tried doing the golf which it looks affordable. I will give it a third chance and see if they have improve it somehow. read more

But truly, if you haven't been here, run! This is exactly what Clermont needed for a fun family hangout spot. And you don't even have to deal with the traffic on 50 to get there! This location is prime, and the view definitely delivers on its view. You can see all the way to the Orlando eye on a clear day. But make sure to get there early, because parking is a bit of a wreck. Points for valet, though. I haven't had a chance to try all the food options, but everything I've had is delicious and so affordable. Seriously y'all, don't change a thing on your menu. But the service can be slow during busy times, so grab a cold beer (if you can manage the flag down a bartender) and enjoy the wait. The best part of all is how family friendly this venue is. There are lawn games, live music, and there is a huge fenced in turf lawn to let the kiddos run free. I can't wait to spend more Saturday with my family. read more
