JORDAN and STEPHANIE at the bar (inside and outside) took SUCH good care of us during our June 2024 visit to our parents. The View is very popular (so get there early for the best seats) but they treated us like locals with great service and quick drink refills . Sits atop a hill facing towards Orlando- you can see downtown and I-drive are way out there in the distance -Beautifully landscaped overlooking lakes and homes below on a huge nice breezy patio area. Indoor and outdoor seating. The food is pretty much bar type food, burgers, wings, pizza- but it is good. I had wings and zucchini fries- I'd order both again. Live music, and plenty of lawn games and space for kids to run free. Server was very personable and made a few recommendations. I hear there is a Cuban type eatery inside- but only Cuban sandwiches from there can be ordered on the patio. The bar is inside, but has lots of windows so The View can still be enjoyed. This place is such a vibe! I went on Sunday with the wife, kid and framily before the Super Bowl. The place is clean, the staff is kind and the drinks were definitely on point! I didn't play any golf but we hung out inside then moved outside near the games and putting greens. I would've easily given this place 5 stars but the pizza I had was a little disappointing. Pretty decent brunch. Not a lot of choices for a vegetarian or a low fat diet but the food was very tasty.

Not sure what's going on down here at the view, but we're missing all our favorite bartenders and servers and it seems like there's a whole new staff, maybe management should be looked at if you're having that type of turnover rate. I think we'll be taking our business to some of the new downtown restaurants and bars. This place used to be so fun. read more

Not sure what to think of this place. It is trying to find a personality. We enjoyed El Cerro chicken and also pizza/wings. All the food was amazing. Great quality. Seating area is bland and sparse. Outdoor seating is nice. Bar was woefully understaffed. No table service but basically picnic tables. No online ordering. Clermont is desperate for quality dining. The food is great. This place is completely overrated. Upon arriving the waitress inside tells us we came grab a table and order up front like a food court. We grab a table and another waitress comes in and told us that we cannot order food because the kitchen is 2 hours behind and asked to not put anymore orders . This was completely unacceptable as an establishment. We informed her what the server in the front stated . She said she will double check with the kitchen. She came back and said she will be able to place the orders. She placed the orders and then placed our drinks. The drinks were poorly made and we asked to send them back as it was very low quality. The food was extremely salty . I didn't not have high expectations for a burger and fries but I was unable to finish my burger because it was just too salty . Which was unfortunate because I was out running errands and had been waiting to eat all day. Do not come here for cocktails and food with a nice view. Love that breathtaking view while you are sipping on wine. I wish there was a nice restaurant where you could dine and watch the view instead of a food court vibe. The food court food is perfect for the outside areas. The lighting is great ... it feels warm and cozy. If there was a fire and a water feature it would be awesome. If my son was a young child I would definitely bring him here to run and play and eat ice cream :) The bar is very pretty and comfortable to lounge in. However the last time we were there it had a few drunk loud guys rooting to the game like it was a sports bar. It's a classy bar not a sports bar guys. Great find in Clermont and a much needed hangout spot that's not just downtown. There's a good beer selection, affordable bar food, a place for the kids to run around and live music. As others have mentioned, the view itself is awesome, nothing like it around. I haven't had a chance to try the range because it's always busy, but will definitely be coming back to check it out. read more

Just left. Super unfortunate experience. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte from the mocktail menu (I don't drink). I was brought a pumpkin spice martini. Then I returned the drink and wanted what I had originally ordered. I was brought a hot latte. The mocktail menu has it described as "over ice" which is what I wanted. So that was disappointing. Our food then came out in all to go boxes which was never explained to us when ordering and didn't have any silverware or plates. I'm also unsure if this is standard but the server pre entered her tip to 20% and we were told to just sign. Overall terrible experience. read more

Went to The View tonight. didn't realize they have music bingo so forget enjoying a nice quiet evening with a beautiful view. I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. The kitchen was not that busy with orders and it took over 20 minutes to get my salad. My husband didn't want to eat cold food so he was almost finished by the time I got my food. The teens behind the counter did try their best to get my salad faster but to no avail. I will never go back for dinner but lunch might be a better experience. read more

We showed up ready to hit some balls at the range, and got there plenty early for a weeknight, however, when we showed up there was no system for reserving bays or a time limit. We ended up ordering food and waited over an hour before we had to leave. We did not get a refund either because they said they don't have a system for that.
