this was awesome, great food, okay service, nice ambiance. The flags were nice and it was really cool that they were playing el chavo del ocho on the tv.

The times we've been, it's all been amazing. The chips and salsa might leave a bit to be desired, but they made up for that small disappointment in spades when dinner arrived. My wife had a platter of nachos which she said was delicious, but I had the Risotto a la Huancain with Chicken, which might have been the best dish I've had out all year! Service was serviceable, nothing wrong there. The place was kinda empty when we went for lunch, so not too sure what the nighttime ambiance is like, but it's good food, who cares!?

The perfectly balanced flavors were unforgettable. The Lomo Saltado with maduros was delicious, mouth-watering, amazing, fantastic, incredible, flavorful, exquisite, and tantalizing. Everything is made to order. Clermont's hidden gem. A MUST TRY!! Our waitress was AWESOME!!

2nd time we went and the taste of their food is amazing. Service: 4.5/5 They don't pass and look if you need something you have to call and tell them. But they are very nice all the time. Food: 5/5 incredible flavor, different kinds of food. Ceviche was ok, but the risotto w. lomo and pasta with churrasco was other level. Desserts: (2/5, my tres leches wasn't tres leches, it tasted as a dry cake and also had strawberries ). Ambiance: clean

We loved the food and the employees are very nice . The building is simple but spacious. The food had great flavor and didn't take long. They have great Peruvian options and Mexican tacos .

Our server was welcoming and friendly from the start. We've typically gone for lunch on a weekday and not really busy. Their lomo saltado and ceviche are really good! And my husband raves about their anticuchos too! Their signage was destroyed during the recent storms so marketing and visibility has been hard, but we will be back! They also serve Mexican food here too

I have mixed reviews about this place. We came on a Thursday afternoon. There were a few tables when we arrived- we were looking to sit at the bar, but the server initially told us that section was closed. She checked with someone and we were able to sit at the bar, but she told us they didn't have any alcohol license yet. The server was super friendly and pleasant, but service took a veryyy long time. We were served chips and salsa with corn nuts. The salsa tasted like it was store bought jarred salsa, not sure if that's a good thing or not. It seemed someone from the kitchen asked our server to take our order after sitting for quite awhile. We decided to order to go after this long of a wait to simply order. We ordered a Mixto Chaufa and the Hauncaina Risotto with chicken, but asked for Milanese chicken instead. The server even came back to verify that I wanted chicken, and I repeated that I wanted 'the fried chicken, the milanesa'. My mistake for not checking before I left, but there was a sautéed chicken dish accompanying my risotto. The chicken was ok, but not what I ordered. The risotto was very delicious- I would get an order of just that. The chaufa was pretty good also, but heavy on sesame oil. We were pleasantly surprised to find a mussel in there- great variety of the proteins there. I wouldn't rush back for anything.

Delicious fish here at the Don ceviche!

Pulled up nobody here but we are here at 4:30 on a Saturday. The salsa is amazing and the drinks delicious. The staff is very attentive. We are on a taco run. Trying all the tacos in Clermont. Will keep you updated! The tacos were very fresh. Delicious actually. We have been to a few others here in Clermont but this one was the BEST!

Even though it was empty, I went inside and was amazed with the food. I got a beef dish that was very tender. I really really enjoyed it.

With so many positive Yelp reviews, we had to try this place out!…read more Lomo Saltado - asked for medium rare and definitely came out way more cooked than we would have liked, but it was still good, but could have been better. Ceviche Clasico Mixto - yummy! I don't think you can go wrong with their ceviches. They seem to experts in making ceviches. Mofongo Pulpo Anticuchero - the grilled octopus was soooo good! Chicharron de Pescado - this was sooo good! Our server was super nice and attentive. Thank you! Definitely would come here again.

We visited Bongos Restaurant for my brother's birthday after he mentioned it had great reviews…read more What caught his attention was the fusion of Peruvian and Puerto Rican cuisine, and since we're originally from Peru, we always love trying new Peruvian spots. The restaurant itself is cute and well-decorated, and it wasn't busy when we visited (Thursday around 6:30PM). Our server was friendly and attentive, and when we asked where the chef was from, she said Peru--which we later found out wasn't true (an important detail you'll soon see why). Food & Experience We ordered a variety of dishes to try: What we loved: * Sushi Acevichado - Great flavor and well-prepared. * Torta de Chocolate & Mousse de Maracuyá - Both desserts were delicious. What disappointed us: * Sopa de Pollo - The soup was loaded with potatoes, which wasn't an issue, but when we asked if it could be split into two bowls, the server said no. Instead, she offered to bring an extra bowl for us to do it ourselves, which felt like an odd policy. * Lomo Saltado - The charcoal flavor was so overpowering that it wasn't enjoyable, and the fries didn't taste homemade. * Aeropuerto - Not to my liking at all. The chicken was overcooked, and the chaufa's flavor was off, likely due to a different soy sauce (siyau) being used. * Trio (Fried Calamari, Chaufa de Pollo, Ceviche de Pescado) - The fried calamari arrived cold and gooey, the chaufa had the same flavor issue as the Aeropuerto, and the ceviche was just okay. When the chef came to our table, we asked what part of Peru he was from--and that's when we found out he wasn't actually Peruvian. This might explain why some of the traditional Peruvian flavors were missing or off. Would we come back? Probably not. There are so many better Peruvian restaurants we've tried. If we're in the area, we might consider giving it another shot with different dishes, but we wouldn't go out of our way to visit again. (Nice atmosphere, good desserts, but underwhelming Peruvian flavors.)
