I came here with a couple of friends for early morning breakfast. I can't remember the names of exactly what their orders are, but obviously the pictures are listed. They seem to enjoy their meal as well as a friend of mine got the sandwich with the egg sunny side and french fries at the side. My friend got some kind of French toast looking meal with a side of bacon. I got the burrito with the home fries. My meal was Two fluffy buttermilk pancakes with the sunny side eggs and side of bacon, it hit the spot for me. I went this morning for brunch by myself. I sat quickly because I sat at the bar top but there was a wait for tables (Saturday morning). A gentleman named John quickly greeted me, but he was not my server. He was very kind and I noticed that he helped a lot of people that were not his customers as I sat there. A lot of staff depend on him. He would make a good manager. Carmen was my server and she was very nice but super busy. Thank goodness for John. I got the eggs Benedict but I subbed out Canadian bacon with American bacon- crispy. I got a side of grits and mimosas to drink. Everything was decent, but not the best I've ever had but definitely better than average. I did ask for the bacon to be crisp, but it was more on the burnt side in sections than crispy, but fortunately I don't mind that. The eggs, however, the egg whites were runny. The yellows are supposed to be runny, but I haven't had a lot of Benedict where the whites were runny. I was told that's just how they make it and I can ask for over medium. The hollandaise sauce was not extremely decadent as I am used to but still did the job. The grits I would skip. I do love grits with butter and some salt, but these were definitely not southern grits or done well. All in all, I'd give it a 3.5 out of five but there is no option for that so I rounded up because all the ingredients are fresh and John saved the day. I am willing to come back to try some of the other things on the menu that walked me to other tables that looked delicious. The food photographs well and I did take some nice ones I think at least. I will definitely return. Sidenote; all menu items are served while they're open. You don't have to wait for breakfast to be over according to our server. read more

Don't fret that this is a chain restaurant. It doesn't feel like it inside! This establishment has a hometown friendly vibe. The staff are excellent. The food is fresh, cooked exactly to order, & even tho they were busy on a Sunday the service was fast. I had coffee and their Founders Hash and Eggs. It has corned beef hash, two eggs, toast, and home fries. The food was served quickly. I enjoyed the breakfast. Because I brought in my Starbucks coffee that I had just got, we sat down and were told no outside food or drink were allowed. Well that's unfortunate because we were trying something new. The place of about 50 tables were empty (maybe 2 tables had people) ... We took our business and hungry tummies down the street to COUNTRY HOUSE RESTAURANT ! We ordered chicken and waffles, eggs Benedict, chicken platter and more. The "chicken" used in the platter and waffles plate were 100% frozen chicken tenders. I even asked the waitress and she said so. Check my pictures. I believe Tyson chicken tenders tasted better than these. Poached egg on the Benny was ruined. I gave this two stars because the carne asada burrito was ok. Everything else was a hard pass. Far from good, keke's at least makes everything fresh. Its a cute and small diner, clear views of outside make it an enjoyable place for breakfast. However, until they hire new servers or change something with the work ethic there then I will not be back. The service seemed to get worse the more I went. Which was three times. The third time I did not even wait for my food before I left. A drink was spilt on my table and the server not only ignored it, but the manager who was sitting at the bar did as well. I saw several staff members notice it and only ONE gentleman came over to help. The service was already subpar before that even happened so I chose to not spend my hard earned money there. This was our first experience at Eggs Up Grill and we loved it. We had a short wait to be seated and nice conversation with others waiting on tables before we were seated. This cafe is very nice, cheery and comfortable. Our server was Sigrid and she was wonderful. We would be happy to sit in her section on our next visit too. As attentive as we wanted, friendly and welcoming. We ordered Praline Pecan Pumpkin Pancakes ($10.49) and a Corned Beef Hash Benedict for breakfast ($14.29) and they were both very tasty. The pancakes were very fall flavorful and definitely my favorite. Over not had praline pecans added to pumpkin pancakes before so this was really great. I added a side of 2 pieces of bacon for ($1.25) and that was tasty too. The Corned Beef Benedict was quite tasty also and it was served with seasoned breakfast potatoes. They were a little more peppery than we liked but otherwise cooked well and tasty. This cafe is sizeable and also has a counter fir seating which is nice for single diners. This is all indoor dining and is located in a strip center along with a Publix store. This cafe is recommended! read more

My favorite is the crab cake benedict. The service is always kind and fast (as they can be when it's rush hour). It's simple, yet delicious breakfast! However, I will say that any of their beef related items tend to be on the heavy greasy side. This is your no frills, typical breakfast cafe. Nothing fancy on the menu, no millions of pages of menu to flip through. Just good comfort breakfast food. That being said, I truly enjoyed what I got and thought, for being so simple, it was tasty and made well. I did a create your own omelette with spinach, mushroom, onion, Swiss cheese, and sausage. I chose fruit (they give you a choice between fruit, grits, or homefries) and rye toast. My omelette came out piping hot and fresh. It had a good flavor, just needed more "stuff" inside, especially more cheese. The toast could have been toasted a bit more but the rye was so delicious. The fruit was a nice mix. My family all ordered homefries and said they enjoyed the flavor of those as well. The coffee is made fresh and tastes pretty good. We were in town for a wedding and we were headed to Sea World but wanted to grab some breakfast first. I found this place on Yelp and it had great ratings so we decided to check it out. We arrived and there were people waiting outside, we got on the list for about a 20 minute wait. Service was slow and the kitchen was even slower, it took almost 40 minutes to get our food after the server took the order. Usually I don't mind a wait if the restaurant is busy and the food is good, but unfortunately the food was not good (see pictures). The potatoes were a brown, soft, soggy mess (as if they sat in a steam table all day) and the Benedict was sub par. My girlfriend's scramble bowl was also a mixture of the same not so good potatoes. The kitchen never caught up while we were there as I could see the red tickets on the expo kds screen from our table. A manager never came by to apologize or explain the long wait for our food either. read more

What a great breakfast spot! Stopped in with the family we were visiting and had a party of 6 to try lots of options. The breakfast BLT with egg was great and is an excellent lighter option. The lunch BLTA was even better! I am not sure how they prepare the bacon here but it is some of the best I have had! The guys in the group had some kind of breakfast platter with three eggs and a mix of other items and reported all to be uniformly excellent. I ordered The Chomlette, I was pleasantly surprised with how much chorizo was in this omelette! Tons of meat in every bite! I opted for the english muffin and homefries as my sides. Huge portion of home fries (although I felt they could've been seasoned better than they were and they also were missing that little crunch that you often get with home fries. I also opted for a side of biscuits and gravy. Little flat but I appreciate that they had a little grill on them providing lumina texture with a really good sausage gravy. I tried the apple cider mimoso and wasn't impressed. It tasted like sparkling apple juice that you get out of a bottle versus an actual Mossa. I would stick with the classic. My husband got the Philly cheesesteak omelette with home fries a side of country ham and a pancake. The pancake was good but he would not order the country ham again as it was just too salty. Is all it was packed with me which is great his home fries looked like they came from the bottom of their holding space. So it's interesting to see the difference between his and mine. Our server, Mackayla, was excellent! She was very attentive and always made sure we were okay. Such a great positive attitude - it was refreshing to see!
