These are the best Donut's I've had in a long time. Baked fresh serval times a day. There just that good....puts Duncan Donuts to shame. Cream and Jelly filled are just bursting out. When you cut them in half you can see the the ratio of cream and jelly to Donut far out exceeds any other donut shop. Their peanut sticks are there signature donut. There are 3'"wide by 6" long and covered in peanuts. They also have a chocolate version. Both are very moist not dry. They also have a red velvet donut which is extremely good and their chocolate glazed donuts are just as moist. If you're ever in the Buffalo area look them up they're worth the trip from anywhere. read more

Paula's is epic, local, fresh donuts. The dough is soft, stretchy, airy, and has a well balanced taste. The creams are airy and sweet, the custards creamy and delicious. There are PB&J donuts, Strawberry Shortcake, Boston Cream, Strawberry cream, Peanut Butter Cream, Red Velvet Cake donut rings... they have everything the dessert for breakfast lover in you could dream of. Their breakfast sandwiches are made fresh to order and the coffee is basic but dependable. Staff has always been friendly and they tend to move pretty quickly. These are the best donuts that I have ever had! We ordered a dozen so we could have a good variety of what is available, and there are so many options. The donuts are huge, so I suggest sharing. The angel cream filled donuts are heavenly . They are sweet but not too much. The sour cream donut is perfect with a cup of coffee. Strawberry shortcake donut is a dessert for sure. It was so good. I went here earlier today around 11:15 am to get some Paula's Donuts. They have customers socially distanced outside with red tape markings on the ground. Once one person leaves the bakery, another is allowed to enter. They had socially distanced red tape markers on the ground inside too so you know where to stop, once someone else has moved up. There was a male employee outside letting customers know when to come inside. A female employee was very kind. She came outside to thank everyone for waiting, to apologize for the wait, and to thank everyone for coming to Paula's Donuts to support their business. There were many people working inside. One employee was constantly cleaning everything. They have a large coffee and two donut deal for $4.75. I ordered a coffee with three cream and three sugar, one peanut stick, and one peanut stick with jelly inside it. I wanted the peanut stick with jelly because I hadn't tried it before. It was really delicious. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. It was made fresh in front of me and tasted great. I've been here many times, since this bakery opened to bring in donuts or donut holes for coworkers. The day of the Shamrock Run, the first Saturday in March, I came here to buy eight of their chocolate chip cookie dough donuts to share with friends. The monies raised from that went to Hospice Buffalo. Everyone at this location is friendly, fast, and efficient. The food is fantastic, regardless of what you order. If you love donuts, please stop by here. I'll be returning again and again!!! read more

Not that anyone else needs to say that the donuts here are amazing....really like the upgrades they have made. Those of you in a hurry... take full advantage of pre-ordering the night before. You can even pay over the phone. Wish they had a separate pick-up line for prepaid customers. read more

Paula's never disappoints. Only thing you have to beware of is that her donuts are addicting. I get 2 donuts three times a week and they melt in my mouth each time. I cannot speak to service or price as my wife ran in to buy these for our annual pilgrimage to her grandma's house. I can speak to quality and flavor. Decadently sweet and massive. A half dozen of these weighed as much as a 8x16 concrete block! I had a peanut butter cream-filled monster and instantly turned into Wilford Brimley. At least I will die fat and happy as I slip into a diabetic coma! read more

Get amazing donuts even in the afternoon. You really can't go wrong here, but some of our favorites are the glazed fry cake, apple cinnamon filled, angel cream filled, strawberry shortcake, and the classic chocolate sprinkle. We didn't encounter a line, but the dining room wasn't empty either and it was a Thursday afternoon! Your diet can wait until tomorrow! read more

Holy Crap!!! Paula's Donuts make me go nuts!!! I was born and raised in Buffalo. My wife and I live in the south now but you bet you ass every time we make a trip back to Buffalo we stop to get a few of Paula's donuts. Great donuts and great customer service! During the pandemic, they've started socially distancing their lines so everyone is six feet apart. This means that at a busy time, you may have to wait outside. However, they are quick at getting people in and out. And of course, the donuts are delicious. read more

Stopped by after seeing the great ratings in Trip Advisor/YouTube. We bought one of the famous Peanut Sticks and variety of other donuts. We were not a fan of the peanut stick. Donuts are amazing. Maybe too good, lol. What I appreciate most is they are located in different places. I live 5 minutes from the one in west Seneca. I used to work near the one on Main Street not far from transit. Often times you will see a place all in the north towns or spread out too far or maybe even not far enough. Even when the line is long it's always moved very fast for me. read more

I just wrote a not so good review for a donut spot in Boston so now I'm going to follow it up with DONUT NIRVANA!! I was in Buffalo, NY visiting a friend and he kept gushing about the donuts at this ma and pa spot in his old neighborhood. I had to try a few because who am I to say no to a donut?! I only got 2, a strawberry filled and a frosted one. I almost DIED and was super upset I only got 2. I could've eaten a dozen in one sitting. Perfect flavor, not too greasy and not too sweet. The bakery looks like it hasn't been remodeled since the 70's and I think it's intentional to add to the "donut shop" atmosphere but who cares when the donuts taste like they do! read more

The almond horn was excellent! This pastry was akin to a danish and filled with plenty of almond paste. The Buffalo Bills cutout was cute with a softness and not dry. When you approach these folks in one of their venues you will first become aware of the aroma of these baked goods! You will smell the vanilla, the butter, the chocolate...they use real ingredients! Next you will see the size and how beautifully decorated these cupcakes are! They are 4 for $20 (when I purchased several months ago) and you might think...I'm not paying that! Trust me! These are worth it! The cake is moist and has flavor! The frosting is piled on high and is not sickly sweet- rather creamy and tasty! Now I'm a big eater- especially when it comes to good sweets!
