A well-known business that has been in the area for many years! All their treats are decorated so nicely, flavorful, and fresh. Highly recommend to stop by to celebrate any occasion or just to indulge and get some cannolis!

It's been a while (almost two years!?) since I stopped into Eileen's Centerview Bakery to pick up some weekend treats and I'm happy to see, and taste, it's stayed the same great experience all-round! I stopped in on a Saturday morning around 11am to a packed parking lot but had no problems getting a parking spot still. Inside the bakery was bustling! People were taking numbers by the door and waiting to be called on by the staff behind the counter. I get into a decision paralysis whenever I'm here with the variety of treats I see and want to try. I was there for probably 20 minutes walking back and forth trying to figure out what I wanted! haha The staff here are always so kind and understanding though, they never make me feel bad or rushed as I figure out what I want. This time I walked out with four treats: an Almond Filled Sweet Roll square, a Mini Pastry Heart, an Almond Horn, and a Buffalo Bills cutout cookie. If you couldn't tell, I love almond so I indulged a bit. The almond filled sweet roll was fluffy and sweet with plenty of almond paste inside, very much what I want from a sweet roll. The almond horn was excellent! This pastry was akin to a danish and filled with plenty of almond paste. The Buffalo Bills cutout was cute with a softness and not dry. The mini pastry heart was delicious, as usual from Eileen's. In addition to my treats, the price was a(nother) treat as well, INCREDIBLY affordable! This visit to Eileen's Centerview Bakery was a great reminder for how awesome this bakery is. From customer service, quality, portions, pricing, all of it is excellent. I look forward to coming back soon and having more decision paralysis trying to figure out what treats I want! haha

I wanted some Anise Christmas cookies so I googled it, and up pops Eileen's so I went there and I was waited on by a nice woman with great customer service. I bought my cookies along with some other goodies, I ended up getting some Mexican wedding cakes, and a long Danish pastry with pineapple and cheese, it's a very nice place pretty quiet for the amount of customers. It was a calming atmosphere with the clerks that was very kind and helpful

Cherry Cane & Santa Sleigh Cake were both very delicious. A must preorder for Christmas week!

Eileen's is my go to for all bake goods. The cakes are phenomenal and very reasonably priced. I asked for a very simple piñata color border around my cake with nothing else, the kids wanted to decorate the top. They sent me a picture of what they thought I wanted and it was exactly that. The cake was don't perfectly. For a pastry rec, get the cheese delight!! A short dough pastry filled with a fresh cream cheese filling, topped with streusel and dusted with powdered sugar. Yummy!

Eileen's Bakery cakes are my family's new go to! The frosting has a delicious touch of almond flavor?! Heck yessss! And look at their stunning decorative frosting. We have tried the strawberry filling and the raspberry filling. Both scrumptious! Can't wait to try more flavors!

    Almond ring!

This Almond ring is very dissapointing! There was hardly any filling!! The frosting was flavorful and creamy but the coffee cake was dry without filling!

    Strawberry filling birthday cake!

They had six flavors: sangria - fruity, wine; honey whiskey - topped with a Biscoff; piña colada - not pictured because I skipped that one; mojito - lime and rum; black forest - chocolate cupcake with boozy cherry; peanut butter whiskey - also a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. Presentation and toppings were all really lovely and looked delicious. Super creative concept all around. Most of the cupcakes were yellow or white cake, the rum, whiskey, and wine were noticeable but not strong. So you knew they were there, but not overwhelmed. Some people might actually want them to be stronger! The flavors in general were subtle but clear. The frostings were all pretty light and pleasant, which is nice. I know there's a lot of people who really like dense buttercream and cream cheese frostings and for whom cupcakes are a frosting delivery vehicle. These are not those. Plenty of rich and delicious frosting for the cupcake but not too much. The cupcakes are not following the super sized trend; they're a nice cupcake sized cupcake. This makes it easy to rationalize eating two at a time because, um, you wanted to compare flavors. Yep, that's totally why. I liked all the flavors I tried, but was surprised that my favorite was the chocolate peanut butter and my second favorite was the mojito. Only comments would be there's some variability as to the moistness or dryness of the cake part, and the filled ones could use more filling. The people at the pop-up (I forgot to ask if they were the bakers/ owners) are really nice and happy to answer any questions or customize an order. As you can tell by my substituting an extra black forest for the piña colada. They'll be back at the Broadway Market for Dyngus Day!

I am in love with Sassi Cakes' cupcakes! This was my second time catching her at the Plaza lunch…read moreconcerts and both times I enjoyed an amazing cupcake. The first time I had a peanut butter cup cupcake which was absolutely amazing- so much peanut butter and chocolatey flavor! The second time I had a cheesecake cupcake- which was even better! So much thought went into the cheesecake cupcake, the very bottom was a firm cheesecake crust, the body was a fluffy and moist cupcake, the frosting tasted like a flavorful cream cheese frosting, topped with a dab of jelly and sprinkled with cake crumbles... to die for!!! I tried to save it for dessert but absolutely couldn't resist! Can't wait to enjoy her more of her tasty creations!!!

Sassi Cakes....was it sassi? No actually, the employee working was friendly which was disappointing…read moresince I was expecting at least a little bit of sass, but I can get over that. I stopped at this food truck on food truck Tuesday in Larkin Square this week while looking for some dessert to follow up the other food truck I stopped at (3 total, I'm a disgusting monster). The line was pretty long (I guess other people also wanted cupcakes?) and well worth the wait. I want to give them 1 star for running out of the big cookie dough cupcake, but they get 5 starts for replacing that with 3 little cookie dough cupcakes to make up for it. The prices here are normal for what you are getting and the cupcakes themselves were pretty darn delicious. I highly recommend stopping at this truck for a treat if you see it!
