Came here with a friend who said this place was the new hotness. There aren't too many pho places around my folks place so I'm glad this spot is here. I am a Pho Ga man. I never get anything else. Hate it or love it, thats how I roll. For a place that doesn't only specialize in pho, it was surprisingly great. Slightly pricier ($7.50 for a large) than lets say Than Brothers, but worth it. Really should be like 4.5 stars. We went back today after a long time away and were very impressed with the quality and snappy service. It was after the post church rush on a Sunday. The pho' was great, good broth, lots of meat, a bargain. The sandwiches which we took away were no. 2 in my list of Vietnamese subs. Yeh Yeh's is no. 1. The iced coffee with condensed milk is So Durn Good!! I have eaten pho' all over the place and these guys today stood out well! Now I want to try some of their more arcane items. read more

Pho Pasteurs is the best pho place in Everett IMO. You can get a chicken ban mi (a Vietnamese sandwich ) for less than $5 and they are awesome!!! The place has been packed every time that I have gone there, but there always seems to be enough staff and I have never had to wait more than 20 min for my food. Usually more like 10. The dinner fare here is really great too, I usually get the rice with lemongrass chicken, which is f-in-awesome! I give them five stars when their TV starts plating some sports, instead of the Vietnamese channel. I know its a Vietnamese restaurant, but most of the customers are american. read more

To be honest I am not the biggest pho fan. I do love other Vietnamese food though. I may not be giving them the best opportunity to prove themselves because I've only eaten there twice but first visits are the most important! So I got their traditional pho the first time. It was good. For the price... um, I'm not a pho expert. I can't remember about the portion size. Second time I ordered something else. I can't remember what it was since It has been over a year now but I will never forget it. I thought I bit into a fishbone. But I wasn't eating fish. It was a staple. Now how the hell did they manage to do that? I've worked restaurants as a teenager and even fast foods. I know the digusting things that goes on. Now, this isn't a disgusting thing like hair or nails but staple can seriously hurt me! I mentioned it to the staff and they seriously felt bad... but that was it! No investigating to find out how that could have happened. It's not like I'm looking for a free lunch. Either way, I really wanted to give a lower rating but that wouldn't be completely fair. The food was decent. My sister's family goes there all the time and loves it. For me though, I will not go to a place that can't keep their office tools out of their menu. If I had to go in to a gastrointestinal doctor because I was being poisoned by a tiny punture leak in my guts, who would pay for that? Ok, I'm being over dramatic about it... or am i? It's hard to write a review for a place like this. The Pho is better at Than Brothers which is about a mile away and the Banh Mi is better at Yummy Deli which is about two miles away and the prices are better at both. Does this mean that the food at this place is bad? No, but why would I come here and pay more for food that I don't like as much? It's kind of a tough place to be as a restaurant. They've been around for a while so I guess they must have a fan base. The food is fine but I can drive another mile for better and cheaper. Worst Pho I have ever had. I was very excited to see there was a place to get Pho after 9pm. We got it to go so everything came separate which was great. Outside Little Saigon in Seattle, this is probably one of more good places. Pasteur's has a similar menu to most of the Vietnamese places in the region, but does an outstanding job and is a notch above the others. Most places can do at least a somewhat competent job on the bun or com dishes - they involve mostly simple grilling or stir frying, but there tends to be greater variability in the pho broth between different restaurants. Pasteur has pretty good flavors in the pho broth and is above average for the area. And the quality of the meat is pretty good. read more

Oh Pasteur's how you've lost your touch. I ordered their banh xeo and Bun Bo Hue the other day and both were just awful. The banh xeo was extra greasy and was full of onions. It was more like an onion crepe then anything and their bun bo hue was not bun bo hue. It wasn't even the right color. Instead of that spicy looking red color I got a light brown color broth. Stick to their pho or their rice dishes. Anything outside of that is probably not going to be good. read more

The service here is fantastic. Waitresses are friendly and quick. Portions of my pho was huge and tasty. I only had half of a small and way beyond stuffed. I also had a few of the chicken wings that were mighty tasty as well. I had to go spring rolls a few days later and they were the best springs rolls I've ever had. I was in town for business so we Yelped somewhere to eat and found this place. First I want to say that I live just a few miles from Little Saigon in Southern California which has the largest Vietnamese population outside of Vietnam. I have eaten at dozens of Vietnamese restaurants thousands of times over the years since they are so prevalent in So Cal. This was probably the best Pho I have ever eaten. I had the beef and ginger Pho, absolutely delicious. The restaurant is comfortable and the service was outstanding. At least I thought so since Vietnamese restaurants in So Cal aren't known for their service. My business partner agreed that the food and service was great. I can't attest for the other dishes but based on the Pho they are probably good too. The next time I am in town I will definitely return. read more

I went here for the first time, and last, with my wife for lunch about three weeks ago. I ordered some noodle bowl soup thing with beef brisket or flank steak. I can't remember exactly. My wife ordered some Pho noodle thing that she liked and that was about it for that. My bowl was quite large and I managed to get about a morsel size piece of meat in my mouth before exploring the rest of the contents of my bowl. I started lifting the meat pieces up with my fork and was absolutely disgusted. I called the guy over that took our order and verified what it was I was eating. He seemed very indifferent and not friendly at all. I pushed the bowl away while he was there and said I am not eating this. I am not exaggerating when I say the pieces of meat I lifted out of the bowl looked like something they would have on fear factor. There were these large shredded, massacred pieces of meat that were clinging to each other by the oddest looking fat "tendons"(for lack of a better term) with clearly defined veins. It looked like something that had been ran over with a car. My wife thought it was pig a s s. I absolutely lost my appetite did not eat any of the soup besides the initial morsel of meat I had tasted. When the bill came the female waitress only charged for my wife's meal and our pops. I wasn't going to pay for me meal anyway. I did not try anything else here so I can't attest to their culinary skills with other dishes. I also will not ever go here again. In my opinion, pho is pho. There is very little variation in pho from one place to another. As far as I was concerned, this place was just fine. Might've been a little salty (do they use msg?? i have no idea) for my taste, and service wasn't very good, but other than that I had no complaints. The problem with Asian business practice is that when they are doing well and have lots of customers, they increase the price!? To make it worse, they didn't even bother to change it on the menu and verbally tell you after you decided to order it. Then they come back and say, when we ran out of this dish today. When Pasteur's first opened up, they paid closed attention to details and customer service, but as time goes along, the service is progressively getting worse and wait staff are clueless and usually understaff. One waiter servicing the whole restaurant is asking for mistakes. So now you have longer wait times, higher price items than before, and clueless wait staff. No matter how good the food is, which is only mediocre here, the overall ineptitude of everything else takes away the whole experience of fine dining and enjoying it... The good thing about this place is that it's menu is considerably big comparatively. I had the spicy beef noodle soup, which was pretty flavorful, but there was a lot of noodle compared to meat and broth. We also ordered what I will call a grill it on your own surf and turf, which came with the fixins' that let you wrap your own food in rice paper. The meat wasn't marinated, so after it's cooked, it wasn't anything impressive. Next time I come back, I will try the pho, because good pho is usually a mark of a good restaurant. read more

I will give this restaurant a one star because I genuinely enjoyed the food, however they have the worst service possible. The girl taking our orders literally threw the glasses of water on the table, rolled her eyes when we're taking orders and then threw the check at the table, the attitude is unbelievable. Cannot believe I paid for this service, we were being the nicest we can be, we said thank you for every little thing and we would see the waiter just rolling her eyes and say "UH HUH" real loud. It took longer than it should have to take our order, the food came out quickly, the dishes were good and presented well. I disliked the wooden chopsticks and was wishing i would have brought mine own. The crispy egg rolls were tasty, but nothing special. I was disappointed in the dive bar feel of the bathrooms. I wouldnt sit on their toilet if i had to ! the urinal had paper stuck in it and the floors were a disaster. The atmosphere was nice and the service friendly, just real slow service would i come back? yes....will i bring my own chopsticks so i am not savoring flavor off of their wooden sticks? yes will i be patient with their service? i will do my best :) the food is good, thats for sure. i am going to try more than the soup next time and a yummy entree. read more

Not bad Vietnamese food for the Everett area, and most importantly, it's clean and spacious. The menu also has a lot to offer. The Pho is a B grade because you can tell there's a lot of MSG/sodium in it, what I would call "mass produced" pho. I've tried a few other dishes that were mediocre but not bad when you're hungry! read more

Pasteur's Noodle Soup is a great place for Pho - they have a wide variety of ingriedients for the Pho, as well as a good sized menu of other offerings. They also offer Vietnamese sandwiches. I was delightfully surprised at how good the food is. I ordered one order of spring rolls (7A) and an egg noodle soup (1M) and devoured both. The soup had a good ratio of meat and noodles and the broth was fantastic. The spring roll was full of meat (no noodles) and vegetables.
