Absolutely Fantastic!! Came in here last night for the Dine LA menu. Located on Arroyo Ave/ California sharing the same Valet parking lot as Arroyo chop house. Valet is free, but don't forget to tip the guy. My friend and I loved everything we ordered. Food came out in a timely order. When you're done with your first course, second course follows in. Well timed per course. You don't feel rushed from one course to the next. I liked that. Friend had the lobster crepe: creamy and delicious, not too heavy. Salmon: sitting on sauteed string beans. Didn't taste too fishy, so that was good. Creme Brulee Napoleon: Fluffy creme brulee custard, layered with crispy phyllo squares surrounded by caramel sauce. Heaven. I had the Caesar Salad: fresh and delicious roman lettuce, with a light drizzle of caesar dressing. Had an anchovies, wooh, so salty n fishy. 8oz. Filet Mignon: Cooked so well, lightly pink in the middle, topped with a mushroom sauce, mashed potato was mouthwatering. Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla bean ice cream: orgasm in your mouth. Years ago, I enjoyed the food, but I was not impressed this time. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing. Spicy Thai Tagliatelle with Duck was disappointing. The pieces of duck were too big and tasted like liver. However, the Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Cake saved the night. To be fair, Hubby thought his steak was pretty good. Service, on the other hand, was kind of amazing. It was a celebratory dinner, so upon arrival, we found a note card on our table. Came here for a birthday and sadly our reservation got mixed up. The host was amazing at helping us get a table though even on a Friday evening. It was only for a party of 4 so I'm sure that helped. We barely waited for 15 minutes or so although we didn't get there until 8pm so it was a late dinner. I ordered the special sea mass with couscous. yummy! Great crab cakes! Friends and I came here for DineLA. The service was great, the food was even better. The server did try to hit on my girl friend for having dimples (like him), so considering this is a restaurant on the fancier side, it was a little strange. Otherwise, the dishes were fine. This place isn't bad but it's main downfall is that it's located right next to it's big brother the Arroyo Chophouse. The service here is excellent and the prices are what you would expect from a restaurant like this. Around 30+ for an entree. A dinner for two after all is said and one will probably be some where around 100 depending on drinks and appetizers/desserts. If you are looking for a good steak go next door to Arroyo chophouse, if you are more in the mood for other dishes Parkway grill is a solid option. Try the whole fried catfish! read more

The last visit I had Fanny Bay Oysters (amazingly fresh and delicious), ridiculously good Seared Scallops with puréed cauliflower, curried Swiss chard, caper-sultana compote, walnuts and finished off the perfect meal with a creme brûlée Napoleon (crisp phyllo squares layered with vanilla bean custard and caramel sauce). Review long overdue, this is great place I have been going to for quite some time. The Customer Service is excellent and the food divine. You need to try the DEEP FRIED CAT FISH it's delicious it can easily feed 3 people. Everything taste FRESH and delicious. I was just there and ordered the Scallops WOW it was great. Wow this place is fancy! Pulling up to the valet I immediately noticed the beautiful lit up garden area. We dined outdoors with the most amazing sunset and twinkly lights. Our server was fantastic. All the staff went above and beyond with their PPE. It makes me sad to see but necessary during a pandemic. We dine out a lot and have been to so many of the best steakhouses all over La and San Diego. This place is at the top of my list. My kids and I shared a bone in rib eye and it was perfectly cooked and they even sliced it for us! The Yukon potatoes purée was buttery and smooth. The snap peas crispy and sweet. My Justin's wine paired well with the food. Don't miss out on the bread basket for a small charge. AND you must end your meal with the Napoleon creme brûlée dessert! Decadent but delicious! I've been meaning to try this place for a while now. I was told numerous times that I would probably like it here. I was looking for a nearby DineLA spot to take my brother for his belated birthday and decided, "Why not?" Located right next to Arroyo Chop House. Free valet! For a three course meal, it came out to $45 a person before tax and tip. I got the Market Tomato salad for the appetizer and it was pretty good. I hate tomatoes but I'm a sucker for prosciutto! For the main course, I got the Grilled Filet Mignon and it was amazing! It was easily one of the best steaks I've ever had. Very tender. Not as fatty as I'd like my steaks but it didn't matter! The mashed potatoes that came with it was also delicious. My sister got the Pan Roasted Scottish Salmon as her main course and the texture was very light and juicy! I definitely recommend both dishes. For dessert, we all got the Creme Brule Napolean. It was a nice twist on the creme brule. They have layers of flaky crust which I actually preferred as opposed to the traditional way because it tones down the sweetness. They also brought out a complimentary shortcake cupcake for my brother, which he actually enjoyed more than the creme brule. read more

Overall I'd give this place a 3.5 and would've rated it a 4 if only every dish was consistent. Ahi Tuna Tartare - 2: Hard to mess this dish up but it was extremely bland. A pinch of salt or some lime juice would've made it better. I added some lemon myself. Lobster Crepe - 5: Loved it! Colorado Lamb Chops - 5: Delicious and a great choice thanks to my server's recommendation. The meat was so tender and I substituted the bleu cheese potatoes with "creamed" corn. Yum! It was really a disappointing experience!!! We booked this place for our Valentine's day dinner and even though we had a reservation booked weeks in advance, we ended up waiting long time before being seated. The front desk lady was also giving us attitude when we inquired about our table. The worst part was the food quality considering how expensive this restaurant is.. we ordered the bread basket and the bread was very dry and old!!! So we put it aside in hope that the rest of the food will be better! We ordered a Cesar salad and a Beets salad..the lettus in the Cesar salad was already discolored and yellowish and the beets was under-cooked. We continue to order the main course and I asked the waiter for a lean steak without fat and he recommended what I should order. The steak came with soooo much fat and cartridges and it was very chewy and I figured the waiter recommended it because of the price!! See some pics attached. I brought my wife and daughter here tonight for our wedding anniversary. The service was perfect, couldn't have been any better. My wife said that the interior of the restaurant is her favorite of any restaurant we've enjoyed in at least the past couple years. Parking's easy --- they valet it for $5. Our waiter generously accommodated our spoiled 4-year old w/ a whole plate of watermelon (the salad special was a watermelon & heirloom tomato salad) and then w/ butter cheese pasta. There's no actual kids menu. The pasta saved me ~$50 b/c my daughter had been talking about steak all day. My wife had the 11 oz boneless filet and I had the "bone-in NY", which I guess is what you call it when you don't want to answer the same question 25x a day about what a Kansas City cut is :-) Both steaks were perfectly cooked, prime grade, worth what they cost. The bread basket was fine; it's an interesting mix. The key lime pie was the best I've ever had --- great texture/density, presented as an individual stack, some graham cracker crumb, crushed pistachios and a raspberry swirl, a couple berries. My filet mignon and my wife's duck were tender and succulent. The side of lobster mashed potatoes was nicely prepared and tasty.

Fantastic experience with the Christmas take out from Parkway. Absolutely made my day!! Ordered 2 family "sides" for Christmas Eve dinner, scalloped potatoes and French green beans. Both dishes completely blew me away. They were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. They saved hours of shopping/preparations and were tastier than any homemade version I have ever had or made. I want to say thank you to the entire kitchen staff for your hard work. January 26 Update Ordered a special treat a few days ago...delivered dinner from the Parkway. My last review was on holiday side dishes. This time we went for the full deal: lobster risotto, porcini encrusted scallops, pasta with fresh tomato sauce and wedge salad and broccolini. Wow, how incredibly delicious it all was especially the sauce on the scallops. I made the decision to have the dinner delivered by the restaurant instead of through an app. They only charge $7 and what a difference it makes. The food was so hot and fresh and the delivery was made by an actual restaurant employee. He was so nice and said "this all just came out of the oven, I hope you enjoy!" I could tell he had great pride in what he had delivered. He was masked of course and all the containers were sealed by a restaurant label. To have food of this caliber delivered was amazing. Not something you can do every day but definitely worth it when you've had one too many mediocre meals delivered by a delivery company. read more
