Nice clean location. Lots of pastries to choose from. Only issue is parking probably looks like it could be tough later in the afternoon/evening. Tighter spaces but that's the Bay Area for you.

Mini breakfast sandwiches

This review is pertaining to my catering experience. I placed an online order for an office workshop. I specified that we needed vegetarian only options due to cultural sensitivities. Although my order arrived on time, the items itself did not adhere to my instructions. The receipt clearly marked "No Meat" but whoever packed the items must've missed it. I called right away and explained my distress. The person I spoke to was apologetic and worked with me to provide another option. The replacement arrived quickly and the delivery person was pleasant. The food was fresh, tasty, and the team enjoyed themselves. To top off my relief, we discovered how delicious the Lavazzo PB coffee collab is! Because of the great customer service and quality of items, I will consider catering with them again.

CAKES here have always been a hit. Only once was a mango cake bad. I called and they refunded me right away saying other people had called in to complain recently too. PASTRIES have always slayed. It's hard to buy just one pastry because they're so good! A favorite is the fruit pastry. PLACE has indoor and outdoor seating. WiFi available. PARKING can be a challenge because it the same plaza as Ranch 99.

White Ghost Vanilla Sponge Cake

We ordered the White Ghost Vanilla Sponge/Chiffon Cake & Chocolate Dirt Worm Cake from PB for our son's 3rd birthday as well as the Halloween Party. We were impressed by the cake, the taste, the texture, presentation and overall sweetness levels. Handsdown we are not going anywhere else for a cake going forward. The service in the store was good, ordered their seasonal Butter Cookie Macchiato and that coffee beat my expectations. Loved it, went back for more. The ambiance in their store is always better than you typical cafe, the feel and the crowd looks decent. Overall, its a full 5 on 5 from us.

Soufflé cheesecake

I'm surprised I haven't wrote a review as I come here quite often. This review is the soufflé cheesecake. This was delicious, not too heavy, not too sweet and a crowd pleaser. I came towards evening, service was quick and fast out the door in 10 minutes. Not crowded at all around 7pm.

I love coming to this location because it's so close to where I work and the employees are all very helpful and nice. I always get greeted with a smile, even early in the morning. The space is warm and inviting. I love the large window that lets in a lot of natural light and how it smells so good when you walk in. The pastries all look really good, but my favorite is the lemon cronut! They have a great sandwich/ light lunch selection as well, though I haven't been lucky enough to be in for lunch. Their chai is really good as well, it's my go to. I look forward to continuing to pop in to Paris Baguette on the way to work.

Came by for some cake. Three cake slices. Two were yummy One was dry. The Ganache cream cake and Chocolate strawberry were soft. The Blueberry yogurt cake was hard.. It wasn't worth what we paid. Luckily it wasn't busy so we were in and out. I wanted all the cake slices in one box but they put it in two for some reason. Waste of a box if you ask me. Service was neutral, not good nor bad. Inside was fairly clean. Private lot in front

Went here right as they opened and I never know if the pastries are from the day before or baked fresh. After seeing trays of pastries, safe to say they're made fresh daily. I just don't like where they are placed. The chocolate circle croissants were by the window, on the mug and tumbler displays, while the two other circle croissants were on the counter where you get your drinks. Also, their iced vanilla oat milk latte is surprisingly really good. Service was quick and the staff were friendly at 7 am. I also like how their Dubai chocolate tart were in the cold display case. The other PB location has them out on room temp with other pastries. This location is also cleaner than other PBs.

Chocolate Strawberry Cake Slice and Snowman King Cream Donut

We stopped in for a Saturday dessert run and were disappointed. We picked a Chocolate Strawberry cake and Snowman King Cream Donut. The cake was very dry. The grocery store cakes taste better. The donut was just ok. The 2 stars are just for the donut and the cake deserves a zero. Please avoid that cake. I'm not sure if this is par for the course on all the offered cakes.

Chocolate Cake

A friend picked up a cake from here and we celebrated another friend's birthday. Chocolate Cake: Chocolate cake filled with chocolate buttercream and covered in chocolate ganache (4/5). It was a light, soft, and moist cake. The buttercream was smooth and not too sweet. The chocolate ganache was thin and delicate. It kinda reminded me of a hostess ho ho. But, in a way better way!

I have not been a PB in a long time and stopped off here to pick up some treats. I got an egg tart, a pastry, and some sweet bread. They were pretty good. The line moved fast, no complaints.

Soufflé cheesecake

Got the soufflé cheesecake. Came with a lot of strawberries on top and they were nice enough to write in the side for free! They also have free knife/serving utensil with matches, plates, candles, and a happy birthday sign. Cakes are ready same day and they always have cakes available to buy at the time of purchase. The store has a lot of seating and tables as well if decide to dine in.

Paris Baguette offers many selections of bread, pastries, cakes, and drinks. This location in San Jose is the one I've been to the most, though I've visited the other store in Milpitas and Fremont as well. The interiors across all shops are modern and aesthetic - a trait that drew me to this shop in the first place. They make great use of glass windows to bring in natural light, always keeping the store nicely illuminated for customers inside. A perfect study spot, as well as a date spot for people looking to meet up. Regarding the desserts, they're always so good. My favorites have to be the Tiramisu and the Lemon Citrus Layer Cakes. Neither are too sweet or too creamy -- basically tailored to my taste. The only problem I have is the price, hovering around $8 per single slice. Their standard-sized cakes can be anywhere from $43-50, maybe even more depending on location. Because the pricing is always just out of my budget, these are treats I only get once in a blue moon. Paris Baguette's beverages are also decent. Their matcha latte is solid, though I wouldn't say it's particularly outstanding. It's also on the sweeter side -- one time it was so sweet I could hardly finish it -- and the matcha quality is so-so. One of the more reasonably priced items on the menu, it's still a decent go-to if I desperately need my matcha latte fix.

We got our usuals with choux (Kaya and Ube), Pandan-Coconut Milk Bread and Banh Bo (honeycomb cake). The mention worthy Guava filled Mochi Cake was so good! A yummy tip that elevates this baked good was when I toasted it (4 minutes) in an airfryer. The crunchy surface with the chewy mochi texture plus the sweet guava stuffing was the perfect ratio I was looking for in a dessert pastry. It was an odd combination of flavors. It wasn't burnt but tasted like it/bitter and heavy on the butter. I would come back for the bánh bò for sure though!

The food is worth the wait. Don't sleep on the black pepper sausage danish: the croissant dough is crisp and flaky, and doesn't get soggy when baked around the sausage. It's comparable in execution to the Croissant Hot Dog served at Dominique Ansel Las Vegas (in Caesar's Palace), but at a way more accessible price point. Which isn't to say this place is cheap; like many artisanal bakeries in California, it comes with a premium price tag, but at least it's not Dominique Ansel pricy. Croissante's croissant dough baked goods (viennoiserie) is pun-intended "proof" that you get what you pay for. The dining space is limited and lively. Conversing is a little tough, but if you just need a place to sit while eating, it's just right. Extra special shout out this time to Dill who had informed me the fried chicken dishes today would be an hour and a half wait. After deciding there wasn't anything I wanted more than the Fried Chicken and Spiced Croffle (croissant dough baked in a waffle iron) and was happy to wait, they were nice enough to check in with the kitchen and see if it could be made sooner than that. I didn't expect to be accommodated, so I was happy they were able to do that. You get two chicken thighs and croffles per order. It's enough for two light eaters to share.
