Over two weeks ago my husband and I and another couple had dinner at this restaurant. I left a poor review on Open Table, as our server was very overbearing and my husband's portion was minuscule. The owner contacted me, refuted everything I said and bullied me into removing the review. He promised me some type of very vague compensation if I returned to the restaurant. He offered me nothing in writing. The owner's arrogant, belittling manner of speaking to me was even worse than what we experienced at the restaurant. My husband called the owner back and complained about how he spoke to his wife. My husband was under the impression that the owner would send us some type of compensation. Nothing has come of this. We will never return to this establishment. read more

Best things: L'Escargot and Onion Soup. French Bread and exquisite trout. Wines are excellent. Ribeye was terribly fatty and flavorless. Service toward the end of meal declined. We sat for 30 minutes after we finished entrees .probably won't go back. read more

I'm an out-of-towner visiting from LA and a friend recommended Paris 66 in addition to a couple other restaurants for me to try out. To be honest, I chose this place based on the owner's responses to peoples' reviews. I thought, either this guy is off his rocker or the food is really good. I can confidently say I really enjoyed my meal tonight! I had the salade Nicoise a la Lori, Scallops a la Savini, Sauvignon Blanc, and a trio of macarons. Delightful dinner of fresh ingredients, albeit a pricey one. Staff were nice and my server was attentive. I may need to come back to try their foie gras and mussels before I fly back. East Liberty, you've got a special little place here. read more

Easily the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. After waiting an hour for our food, most of our dishes arrived cold. Our waitress promised to bring over the manager (who is also the owner) so that we could inform him that this was the case and hopefully correct it in the future for other customers. When the owner arrived at our table, his demeanor was incredibly combative. My fiance informed him that our food was cold and he dismissively stated that he doesn't use heat lamps and to deal with it. When she pressed the issue further and attempted to explain that serving cold filet mignon at $40 is unacceptable, he began to talk over her. At one point, he mimicked her accent and put his hands on his hips in an attempt to demean and embarrass her. We continued to exchange verbal insults with each other as we paid our way out, spending several hundred dollars on cold food delivered by an egotistical child. His own employees took notice and were appreciative of us speaking up. One of the individuals came out and give us fist bumps for what we said and exclaimed that it "was awesome" and that he was a "horrible person". Thankfully, my fiance can find happiness in anything and the owner didn't ruin her 31st birthday. This will become a hilarious tale for us to repeat. read more

The outside is so unassuming. Then you walk in and the decor, the staff, and the aroma takes over. Dining: main room or heated patio. Since it was my first time, I asked the host and he recommended the heated patio for ambience. It did not disappoint Food: I knew I was getting escargot and foie gras because I have wanted to try it for years. It was worth the wait. The escargot had a soft texture reminiscent of mussels but make no mistake, it's a snail . Make sure to use the bread to sop up the leftover butter/parsley left in the dish. The foie gras literally melted like butter. A full fat flavor of butter but in the back end, a subtle finish of liver. It's amazing. Make sure to use the fig spread, do not waste one thing. Each could be eaten on their own, I tasted both that way, it was a ten. Together, it was immeasurable. The entire flavor profile changed. I ruined my photo of the Choucroute garnie, but let me tell you Pittsburgh, it's the most sophisticated and flavorful version of pork and Kraut you'll ever have. The Canard rôti à la cerise, so crispy, so flavorful and that glaze.... Oh my goodness. I wanted to run my finger threw it, skipping the bread. Creme brûlée, if you're anything like me, you've had anywhere from 20-80 of them. None even compares. So much so, I spoke on it to our server Melanie who informed me they do no use stabilizers such as gelatin... that makes sense. That explains the full flavor and as it hits your tongue, it melts Of course, we had two macarons from Gaby et Jules, and if you've had their macarons before, then you know what to expect... DELICIOUSNESS. Oh wait, the proprietor came over, introduced himself, I was too busy to catch his name because I was caught up in his accent . He did wish me a happy birthday in French. AMAZING!!! Not sure what else to say, but don't feel intimidated. Paris66 Bistro is very inviting and welcoming. I'll be back soon, my goal is to eat everything on the menu. Merci Beaucoup read more

Beware of inflexible cancellation policy. I called to cancel my reservation the day before because I tested positive for Covid. The owner told me I would have to pay $90 because it was within 48 hours. So instead, I postponed the reservation by a week and avoid the cancellation fee. By then, because I had persistent illness, I canceled that reservation, this time with more than 48 hours notice. He charged me $90 anyway. Bad experience. read more

The cancellation policy is absolutely absurd. Be prepared to pay $30 a person if something else comes up. The owner uses an analogy of missing a Doctor's appointment. A doctors appointment is serious, forgetting a reservation at a restaurant is not. And above all else, the food isn't even good! All dishes are over priced. We asked to have a salad for two people and they charged $8 plate splitting fee! Absolute customer gouging. Do not give this place your business. There are plenty of other amazing places to eat in Pittsburgh. read more

So my girlfriend attempted to make a creme brûlée (thank you autocorrect) and unfortunately it did not turn out edible. So I called the only place near me that I could think of that would offer creme brûlée, Paris 66. I ordered 2 creme brûlée to go and the woman on the phone mumbled something about how they come in a dish so she would have to scoop them out, OK no problem... so I get the desserts and they're just sitting in two little to-go boxes, not in anything in the box, just hanging out like if you put pudding in a to-go box basically. Which is fine, because it tastes the same. But here's the kicker: you've been doing takeout for practically 8 months (and likely much longer) and this is the best thing you've come up with as a restaurant? Nevermind the fact that its $10 apiece for it. Creme brûlée was good though I just don't get the hype for french food/people/etc. We will be back to try the crepes though! read more

This was my favorite brunch place-- even during the covid comeback I was impressed with the quality of the food and service. Recent experiences have been disappointing. The food takes a long time to arrive. The service is not friendly or even apologetic. January 15th, I had a party of 5 for brunch. Overall, the food was hot and miss. I got my escargot and 15 minutes later the baguette for the escargot arrived. My $9 French fries seemed frozen from a bag, although the waitress said they were cut fresh (doubtful!) and arrived cold with my steak. The "salad" accompaniment to the omelette was 3 pieces of lettuce. The French toast was enjoyed by one of our diners and was a nice portion. The Nutella strawberry crepe did not have a single strawberry - just some weird strawberry syrup drizzle, yet we were up-charged for it. Bizarre! Finally, most annoying, the waitress added her gratuity -- claiming it was the policy. No where listed on the menu or the website is a policy for tables of 5. Five seems to be a fairly common table size that would not require a prepaid tip. I am not sure if I'll return. read more

I flew back from Paris a week before going to this restaurant. Craving fresh croissants, I went with a few friends and was not disappointed. The French toast was the best I've ever had. Ever. Portions are a bit small but I guess that's the Parisian way. Would recommend! read more

Paris 66 - a view of a river with a bridge in the background - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

My boyfriend and I visited Paris 66 for a date night on a Friday. We were very excited about the decor right when we walked in as it was cheerful and classy. Our waitress brought us to our table and explained the delicious-sounding specials in a thick French accent; we already felt like we had been transported from East Liberty to Paris. We decided to order some PEI mussels to share and it was a delicious choice. The mussels were cooked well and had the perfect tender texture. Our waitress kindly kept bringing baskets of fresh baguette for dipping because I wasn't letting a drop of that broth go to waste. I ordered the scallop appetizer for my meal and my boyfriend order the duck with a rich cherry sauce. I delighted in the perfectly cooked scallops that were surprisingly paired with sweet creme fraiche. I also got to try a bite of the duck, which was moist and melted in my mouth. The cherry sauce was strongly flavorful, but not overpowering. For dessert we shared the warm chocolate tart. When it arrived, I wished that it was a bit warmer (since it was advertised as a warm tart), but I wasn't disappointed at all with the flavor. I appreciated how it was rich, dark chocolate--almost to the point of being bitter. The freshly whipped, sweetened cream was the ideal balance for the rich chocolate. The service was exceptional throughout the entirety of the meal. Our waitress never hovered and gave us our privacy but never failed to appear right when we needed her. Everyone was pleasant and helpful from start to finish. Our visit to Paris 66 was a fantastic experience. read more

Came here for brunch on Sunday and had an overall good dining experience. My bf started with a mimosa which was meh (lukewarm and small for $14) so would not recommend, however the French onion soup was on point (loved how thyme forward it was). I was pretty disappointed that I was served a diner-style omelet at a place that prides itself on its French authenticity. I got the Paris 66 omelet and it was average with not enough filling to egg ratio and undersalted. My bf however got the Croque madam and it was so so tasty with a beautiful presentation (for all those fancy grilled cheese lovers). The Nutella crepe and the crème brûlée were also very good. Overall I'd say give it a try but go for the above mentioned winners and stay away from the drinks and omelets. read more

I came here with my coworkers on a Friday after work. We had reservations at 5pm for the patio and were seated right away. First of all, the ambiance of this restaurant is outstanding. The patio was set up so beautifully and kept so toasty. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table. I ordered the French Onion soup to start. It was delicious! Writing about it is making my mouth water. What's better than warm soup and melty cheese in the middle of a Pittsburgh winter!? For dinner I ordered the filet mignon. This came with fries which were outstanding, and steak covered in mushroom sauce (I don't remember the details). Everything was savory and delicious. Being half full from the soup, I had to take leftovers home. But don't worry, I had steak for breakfast the next day Honestly, I don't remember the super French name of the dessert I ordered but I do remember the moment it was set on fire. It was as delicious as the rest of my meal All in all, excellent service and atmosphere. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. A phenomenal dining experience. read more

My wife and I celebrated our 14th anniversary at Paris 66. We were so happy that we chose this restaurant. We will remember this delightful experience for a very long time. First, we were welcomed by the owners. After a very kind display of hospitality, they offered us any seat that was available. While inside the restaurant was lovely, we chose to sit on the back patio. It was a gorgeous evening and it made us feel like we were dining in Paris, not Pittsburgh. After seating us, the owners introduced us to Marie-Lise and Renaud and explained they both would be serving us for our special event. Immediately, both Marie-Lise and Renaud paid extra special attention to us. Even though there was a Pittsburgh Steeler dining right next to us, my wife and I both felt like we were the celebrities. I started off with a Canadian beer and my wife drank a glass of Kir, since she likes sweet wine. For an appetizer, we went with the scallops! WOW!! They were some of the biggest scallops I have ever been served. Not to mention, they were delicious!!!! I also had the French Onion Soup, which was also very tasty. For our main course, my wife went with the Filet. The portion was much larger than your typical filet at an upscale restaurant. More importantly, the filet was so very tasty and tender. The mushroom sauce that accompanied it, made it even better. I chose to have the Lamb Shank and was delighted by my choice. It was a very large portion and the meat fell right off the bone. The sauce was very flavorful. Even though we didn't have much of an appetite after devouring the apps and main entree, we couldn't pass on dessert. We considered the famous Gabby and Jules macaroons, but since we can pick them up at a few local bakeries and the Pittsburgh International Airport, we figured we would order something you can only get at the restaurant. My wife went with a Nutella and banana crepe, which again went along with the theme of the night, nice portion and delicious! While I am a fan of Creme Brûlée, Marie-Lise recommended I try a special desert made by the chef. I can't pronounce the name of it, but boy was it everything I wanted in a desert. It was basically a cream with a "floating island" of some type of meringue. I am so happy I chose this desert, as it put a very sweet ending to our lovely evening. While we don't typically dine in the city, we will definitely be making another trip out in the foreseeable future and will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food, an extreme friendly and attentive staff, and a lovely atmosphere. Thank you to the owners, Marie-Lise and Renaud for making this a remarkable 14th anniversary dinner for us. Merci! Frank and Kerri read more

Had Sunday brunch reservations and decided on Saturday afternoon that we'd like to make other plans. Couldn't cancel through the opentable app, so we called and were told that since we hadn't given them 48 hours notice (!!) that we would be charged $30 *per person* (!!) in our party for the cancellation. When we expressed shock at this, we were snidely told that it's posted on their website, which, of course, we hadn't seen when booking through opentable. We've been several times. Ultimately, the food is just ok, and it is certainly not worth going back if this is how they treat you. Sorry, respect goes two ways and I'll never return. read more

They have a 48 hour reservation cancellation policy. I gave 45 hours notice due to something out of my control and they forced me into rescheduling or they would charge me $30/person on the reservation. Having a child and it being hard to get those nights out with my wife, I had to cancel the rescheduled where they said to schedule again. I simply could not make this. I asked the man, "what am I supposed to do?" He replied, "show up for your reservation." Absolutely rude and out of line for missing the "deadline" by 3 hours. This place will never get my business. I hope the $60 they pulled from my card was worth it. read more

COVID protocols completely followed. All staff masked and tables sanitized. My husband I were just talking that we hadn't had a "meal" in so long. We've tried to support local take out and some in restaurant dining, but we were missing that feeling of a well composed meal. We had French onion soup, escargot, the lamb shank, and steak tartare. Everything was fabulous. From the moment we walked in it was warm, smelled wonderful, the food was fantastic and the service family like. I went to Paris 66 tonight. We arrived at the restaurant and the hostess could not find our reservation that we had previously confirmed twice. It was an awkward encounter of her staring at the screen in disbelief, but she eventually led us to the "emergency table" She brought us to a table and we decided to order from the restaurant week menu. Well, there was a lot of liver on the menu. So we got liver. Here is a review. The escargot was ok. We then had the chicken pâté. There were 3 of us. Two tiny crostini's for the 3 of us. The salmon rillette was tasty but salty and did not come with enough bread. Two crostini's for a ramekin of salmon felt disproportionate. We asked for additional bread and it took over 30 minutes and a reminder to bring the bread. We tried each of the 3 main courses which included a chicken thigh, calf liver, and bouillabaisse. The chicken thigh was ok, but was very small, enough for a child's portion. The calf liver was a decent portIon, tasted good, and we enjoyed the side of potatoes. The bouillabaisse tasted like seafood cooked water, there was absolutely no flavor. Not one grain of salt was used. No flAvor. Service was slow. We ordered from a predetermined restaurant week menu and service still took over two hours. The food was very pricey, eVen despite restaurant week deals and we needed to get a second dinner after because we were still hungry. Would not recommend to anymore. Diners beware. read more

We are a Franco- American family who went to Paris 66 to celebrate a birthday. What we got there was a show- an American interpretation of a French dining experience ripe with cliche. The food was average to bad (bad was the fatty duck served in what appeared to be a bowl for a large dog), the service was inexperienced, and the "a la carte " entrees with NO SIDES ( yes you can for $8 a side) was incomprehensible which made this dinner a multi course experience in victimization. 24 hours later, the two stand outs that remain - pretentiously overpriced for effect and not French at all In concept and delivery. My French wife's indigestion ( from the duck) also lingers. $335 for 4 with no satisfying birthday dinner memories. read more

Came in here on a Thursday night for the restaurant week . I'm so glad we checked this place out. I love French food and always sad that there wasn't a good one in town. We called in before we go and they were able to fit us in in a short notice. Probably because it was Thursday, I would recommend to plan ahead if going on a Friday night or weekends. When we got there, parking was a huge pain! Leave yourself 10-15 minutes extra for parking. Wish they can add valet service. The food! Ah my, best escargot, it was very tender and flavorful. I also had the smoked salmon carpaccio for appetizer. Excellent! For our entry, we got the boeuf bourguignon, I wish it served with some pasta or so, it was a little bit salt to eat by itself. Dessert was very good as well, the chocolate mousse was very rich and the crepe was sweet. The service was slow but our server was very polite. Also one thing learned over the dinner was you need to ask for check if you are finished. It is not polite to just bring you the check. They don't want you ever feel like they are rushing you out. I can't wait to go back there to check out the regular menu and I'm sure everything will be great! read more

Food was good but I was very shocked to find out that I was charged an 8 dollar "share fee". We (TWO people) ordered TWO appetizers, TWO entrees and drinks, and said that we would share these food with each other. And guess what, 8 dollars extra for "sharing". Confused, I even Google'd it and apparently it could happen at a high end restaurant. I understand if it's two people ordering only one main entree and sharing it. It would probably make sense to charge an extra fee. But we ordered enough food for both of us. I am a big foodie and have been to those real high end Michelin 2-star, 3-star restaurants and have never been charged this ridiculous fee for sharing (sharing is caring!). It's not about the money. We just thought this thing discounted our dining experience. Would not go again. read more

I want to direct attention to any complaints regarding having to wait for your meal. I feel this is to be expected on a weekend when the place is packed and the staff is doing everything they can to ensure the food you receive is fresh and hasn't been lingering on the counter while they tend to other dishes. Especially during covid times where they're actively taking account for anyone that can't show up, sporadic real time events that may get in the way of preparing properly for the day, staff shortages etc. Everything was received was piping hot and perfect, meaning that though there was a wait, we knew that the same care was given to the preparation. Also, as a side note, the overall energy just feels like what's to be expected given the establishment and the type of restaurant it is. It's an understanding in France that you're going to a place like this for the overall experience. To sit with your party and enjoy the ambiance together. And we undoubtedly did that, with plenty of chances to ask for anything we needed while we waited for our dishes, with a waiter that was happy to tend to us whenever possible. Now the food! I'd never had escargot or pate before and was fully prepared to try it, say it was an experience, and move onward with dinner. I was NOT expecting to love both and I fully blame the cooking staff for preparing both so incredibly well. They've now become two things myself and my partner would love to try again. I'd selected the scallops entre while my partner chose the steak. Both were beautifully presented, which is often not the case with scallops and why I usually avoid them. Far too many cases of biting down into sand. That was completely amiss (again, the cooking staff is amazing). The wait was more than worth it to have a nice few hours to enjoy the time with my partner with good food and an extremely friendly staff keeping tabs. Everyone was beyond kind and it was truly the best decision we could've made for our anniversary dinner. read more

Quality of food and has steadily decreased while prices increase over the years. Food: small, expensive. Oddly displayed, the crepes come as "assemble your own", salad served in a tiny bowl. My partner and I finally managed to try Paris 66 last evening, which is walking distance from our place in Shadyside. It is a very polarizing place among our friends: some like it and others don't understand why anyone would like it. Sadly, we join the latter group. The food is mediocre at best. We started with the mussels and fries (moules frites). The mussels were perfectly cooked, but the Roquefort sauce completely lacked flavor. The fries were nicely crisp and salted, but there weren't many of them. My partner had the short rib bourguignon and he let me try it. The beef was a overly chewy, while the sauce was pasty and overcooked/over-reduced, making it too salty. I had the pork shank and it too was overcooked--the meat was hard on the outside and completely dry inside. Even the prunes served with it were overcooked--so much so they barely held their shape and had no flavor. The person at the neighboring table saw me working with the pork and leaned over to say "That looks a little tough, huh?" We had a laugh about my having made the wrong choice. (He had the beef filet and said it was nice and tender--but then it is hard to ruin beef tenderloin). We ordered a side of French green beans, which are usually my favorite thing at a French restaurant, but not here--they were mushy and brown and totally unappealing. We tried several of the wines by the glass and liked all of them, though beware the pours are so skimpy at Paris 66 it may actually make more sense to just get a bottle--this is the one place where a bottle probably equals 6 glasses instead of 4 and half! The other benefit of getting a bottle is that you don't have to order another glass after three sips. Getting the wait staff's attention isn't easy either, but as a former waiter myself I tend to think it's the owner's fault when wait staff are spread too thin. We really liked our waiter in other respects and suspect she was just being asked to cover too many tables. Based on his responses to other reviews, I expect the owner may pop in here to say "I'm French and therefore the food is good!" That is a bit like saying a hamburger is good as long as it is made by an American--just plain silly. Or he'll make up some story about having talked to us at our table when he did nothing of the sort. We almost didn't try the place at all because of the arrogant responses of the owner to critical reviews, and I almost didn't write this review but decided not to be intimidated! Lastly, expect to leave with your clothes smelling of oil because apparently the "bistro" is not adequately vented and the fumes therefore fill the place. read more

Updating: What's the owner is saying is not true. I gave my address because "he asked to give a second chance". He didn't send me any gift card because he was in France for a long time. After that he sent in privacy very rude message saying that none what I said here it happened and that I should delete it. Me: no, there's no reason for deleting this review. Especially when somebody promise you something just to make you delete your review and still don't send any gift card. That's what happened. I said that I don't need any gift card anymore since he is "too busy to do that". Why I would lie in my review? First: I don't have any restaurant in Pittsburgh. Second: nobody paid me for writing this review. I just can't tolerate arrogant people to that level! read more

Disappointing and not worth the money. We got the restaurant week special as takeout because we are not currently dining-in because of the pandemic. Maybe their food is better if you are eating in the dining room, but seems like they are not even trying with takeout. The French onion soup was ok but mostly broth and not many onions. The crouton and cheese came separately and we broiled it ourselves. The rainbow trout entree was just a piece of fish with no accompaniments except sauce. The texture was good but no flavor aside from the lemon sauce. Should have salted the fish before cooking. The creme brûlée was especially disappointing. It was too loose, like a thin pudding, and there was only an inch of it thrown haphazardly into a container (wanton-soup-type) with 3 chips of the sugar shell on top. We were really hoping for something more impressive from so expensive a restaurant. read more

I found this to be a very niche type restaurant. My friends and I went for brunch. The service was very slow, and we were informed they had a call off that day. The French onion soup was amazing and probably my favorite thing of the day, however at $15 was very expensive. My friends ordered crepes and gave mixed reviews some loved some thought were ok, but were still hungry especially for the price. I had an omelet which was very good and filling for the price and would get again if I went. I just cannot see my self returning to this restaurant in the future, but I did see other patrons very much enjoying themselves and their food and receiving quicker service than we received that day with larger parties than we had. My recommendation is to really review the menu and reviews to determine if this is the restaurant for you and your group. Lovely atmosphere, nice people, my food was good, but not an overall great experience and food and drink was fairly expensive. read more

It was Pittsburgh Restaurant week and I was beyond excited to try a few new places. We booked reservations to two places, one being Paris 66 Bistro and this was the H's pick. I checked out their prefixed menu online and thought yea this could be really good. Parking was tricky, but they have a valet at a very reasonable price of $3.00. The restaurant is quaint but nicely decorated. They have white table cloths but cover them with paper I guess to save the effort of changing the linens every few hours. When I say every few hours I mean that was about the time it took us from start to finish to complete our experience. Not a positive. After being seated we glanced the prefixed menu, which we had already decided upon and waited. Then we waited, and waited, and waited some more. Our waiter finally appeared, not sure what took him so long, but he seemed stressed. We ordered drinks wine for me French Martini for the H, and immediately put in our order. I requested the escargot and asked about the Boeuf Bourguignon which was one of the options for the entrée the other was salmon. Our waiter immediately began pushing this lamb special they were having. He stated he would not order that and he didn't like it. Compared it to a well done stew. Um ok.. I said what about the salmon? He said that was better than the beef but still not one of his favorites and wouldn't suggest it, but he said the sauce was really good. What the heck? He was pushing the regular menu and or the special, even stated the food on the menu was much better than the not so cheap $45.00 prefixed meals. . We didn't allow this to alter our intentions of ordering off the restaurant week menu but I did decide to go with the salmon over the beef. We both got the goat cheese salad for the appetizer, H went for the beef regardless of the waiters disdain for it, and I got crème brulee and he chocolate mousse. To the most annoying part. The wait! We waited for everything! Our initial drinks took 15 minutes and when done we waited forever with empty glasses. The best part is I pushed the glasses to the edge of the table as to be noticed easily as our waiter passed several times, yet he did not stop to address it. No actually he sped up as to avoid us calling him out as he dashed past our table. I would have considered them moderately busy, not hustling past tables that are in need of drinks busy! So we probably waited about 15 minutes before he finally stopped to get us a refill. The refill process wasn't quick either, and we noticed that the servers made their own drinks. Hmmm in a management perspective I think this is a bad idea. But hey if it works for them, which it don't, then oh well. He brings the drinks and in the process of setting them down he catches the H's on the tacky white paper covering the table cloth and spills a good sip or two of his martini. The waiter blames the spill on said paper and says the next one's on me. At least 30 more minutes, and still nothing. We came hungry this wait was excessive. About 45 minutes in we got some bread and he dropped off a complimentary bowl of zucchini foam, quite tasty. An hour in and finally my escargot show up. H wouldn't even consider trying these puppies and good thing cause they were tiny. They were quite good, but drowned in butter, garlic, and parsley that that was the primary flavor so I can only describe the escargot texture like a portabella. Again very good, just wonder what they would have tasted like without all the disguisers. Hour and 15 in, salads show. I have never waited so long for a side salad, yet it was quite delectable. The goat cheese mixed with the fresh veggies and delicate dressing made a very well balanced salad. The problem, it was a small portion so we ate it in less than 5 minutes leaving us hungry and waiting for entrées. So another 35 minutes pass and they show up. The H really liked his beef so I am glad the waiter didn't deter his opinion, however it held the same challenge as the previous courses. Small, tiny, teeny, itsy bitsy. My meal held a little more bang for your buck. The salmon was done nicely, though this sauce that was spoken of was hardly apparent. The rice and asparagus that accompanied the dish were perfectly cooked. In the course of eating again we were out of drinks and the empty glasses again sat at the edge of the table, where I would learn they would spend the rest of the night since he hustled past plenty of times without stopping. Our final course desert arrived, Tasty we both enjoyed. So in the end would I go again. Unfortunately probably not. The food was quite flavorful, but the portions do not represent the price tag, and being dodged for drinks in the almost 3 hours we were there was frustrating. I would think that would be a no brainer, hello we want wine and cocktails, we drink more your tip goes up, sadly no. read more
