We popped in here for a drink and some good snacking food and man did this place not disappoint. Their cocktail menu is legit! They have all the different flavors for anyone who's looking for a fun and different cocktail. We ordered truffle fries and the fire grilled burrata and man were we wanting more. The staff was everywhere and there to help all the tables which was really nice to see. The spot is perfect since you're surrounded by other restaurants and shops. Amazing place!!

When making a reservation, it is required that you hold the reservation with a credit card and there are stern warnings about no shows and tipping. I was expecting an exceptional fine dining experience for this level of coverage and warning, looking forward to our night out at such a happening spot. Far from it. We were seated immediately at a nice table with a beautiful double oriental lily in the center but in a dirty front window. Fun... Squint and I could see past the dirt to actually enjoy the venue. Unfortunately, it was also extremely loud. So loud, there was no way to hear the server. I had to change seats just to hear her, which changed the view. She apologized profusely but I was at a loss as to why management wasn't doing anything about them or offering anything to the parties around them that were clearly disturbed. This table of 12 next to us was screaming laughing and yelling. No one else in the place was carrying on, though the place is small and definitely above average volume in general at peak dinner time. The bar area was also rented out for an event which made it very difficult to walk around to the restroom or for the servers to navigate through to the tables. Still trying to make the best of it, I found a bottle of wine. This dinner was our Christmas present to our friend, who had a tough year and has always wanted to come to Parc to have dinner and see the lights. My husband and I have been here a few times but to the bar for happy hour before a show or just in the area. When the second server came over and got the bottle name, he ran off so fast, my husband didn't get to order his drink. We couldn't call after him, as it was too loud. We had to wait for him to return to put in a drink order. The service was very nice and attentive in filling our glasses, but needing something while one of your servers is in the main room, in a corner booth chowing on a dessert, is a little annoying. The $65 bottle Nebbiolo d'Alba was very weak in body, which could have been avoided. The server (truman?) confessed that he could not tell me anything about the wines (was it dry, off dry or sweet) nor did he go find someone that did. It was hard enough to communicate with the volume anyway and he thought that it should be fine. I just ordered it. It was dry but weak. $65 for meh bottle. This visit just kept getting worse. I ordered the burrata shareable plate to start. It was good with a fun presentation. When it was time to order dinner, the woman server said they had no specials but recommended the New York strip and Bolognese pasta combo. I asked about the Flat Iron steak and she said she wouldn't recommend it, but just because she didn't like the texture, so I went with her recommendation of the combo. DO NOT get the combo. For $57 I had a perfectly cooked pasta and TINY portion of strip that was covered in a sauce. YOU DO NOT COVER STEAK IN SAUCE WHEN IT'S NOT ON THE MENU, PARC. smh Not to mention the promise of burrata on the pasta was actually a teaspoon on top. This plate was a joke of a dinner. I give up. I ordered another bottle of wine (same wine as I didn't want that stress of trying to pick another bottle, at least we knew what we were getting) and asked for a dessert menu. No dessert menu. She rattled off the selections and we ordered a couple pieces of the cheesecake. At $24 each, she should have produced a fracking menu or TOLD us of the cost of the desserts. The butter pecan cheesecake was bigger than my meal so I guess it was a better value anyway. We surely didn't need two of them and it would have been nice to know this before ordering. All in all this was an epic fail. I cannot recommend Parc for dinner, even on a Tuesday night at 6:30pm. $500+ for three people and the whole experience was a disappointment. I hate to tell people of my experience because they ask but I cannot recommend Parc anymore. Please do better, PARC.

Parc gives off an elevated vibe immediately when you walk in the door. With white linens covering the tables and servers dressed in ties, it feels very fancy. The tables are close together and there was a giant lamp hanging very low from the ceiling that was very in the way of our table. Every time someone stood up, they hit their head on the lamp. We ordered charred burrata and truffle fries to start. Both were phenomenal! The burrata was hot and had a lot of flavorful toppings. It should come with another slice of bread but I digress. The aioli that came with the fries was also very good. For $15 a plate, we hoped for more fries. The lobster bisque ($17) had a few chunks of lobster but was a very small portion for the price. The table rated it a B+. A friend ordered the steak tacos. She didn't love them as they were served on a single (typically double) corn shell that fell apart with each bite she took. She ended up eating all the steak with a fork and leaving behind the tacos shells. I enjoyed the shrimp with squid ink pasta. Extremely garlicky (not a bad thing) with a fresh spicy tomato sauce. It was pretty good! Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals including roasted salmon, burger, and chopped salad.

Came here on a Sunday for brunch and it had no wait time. Staff is very friendly and helpful in suggesting their most ordered dishes. Their menu is limited but all great dishes to try. A lot of the items were completely new that I had not tried before anywhere else as well so I have to come back to it again. The dishes we ordered came out amazing as such. The location of the restaurant is perfect to enjoy downtown views, their floor to ceiling windows has lots of light coming in which we loved for the vibe.

Good vibe, ambience, waitress with dress code, pretty upscale place for brunch, you pay for all frills. I ordered fdrink, mushroom gnocchi and avocado toast. Overall good exp while celebrating women's day

    Woodward Salad - Not great
    Jessica R.

I haven't been to Parc in quite awhile, and I wasn't wowed with my visit. I got the Woodward Salad and didn't really like it. The grilled chicken didn't taste grilled. Rather it tasted like that salad kit chicken you get in the grocery store with the fake grill marks. The grilled artichokes were ice cold, and tasted like they came out of a can, and not off a grill. The salad was really bland o

(Last visited October 9, 2023.) On September 26, 2023 my father passed away. His funeral was October 4, 2023. My parents' anniversary was October 9th. So I wanted to take my mom out to a nice dinner because well, she would've been with Dad today. :-( I decided on Parc because I heard great things, read great reviews and it's somewhere she's never been. So we made reservations and we brought a picture of my dad to "sit" with us in his remembrance. Here's how things went... Atmosphere/Appearance: This place oozes elegance. There is no private parking lot since this place is downtown near Campus Martius, but once inside it just feels good to be there. There's lots of warm, yellow lighting, plush, soft booths, white tablecloths, minimal wall decor, but awesome chandeliers. I know there was music, I just can't remember what kind was playing. It was just so nice to be in here. There's a huge outdoor seating area as well, but it was a wee-bit cold for that. Service: Everything was exquisite. We had no problems whatsoever, our server had a personality, showed empathy for our recent loss and just made sure we had everything that we needed. Food: We started with a tuna tartare that was so well put together. The tuna was fresh, the avocado was flavorful and the wonton chips provided the perfect light, salty crispy to complement the creamy textures. We got some kind of salad, but as I look at their current menu I don't recognize it as they change their menu every so often. No matter, it was delicious, crispy with a slight sweet and nutty taste due to its ingredients. For my entree I went with some sort of seafood dish, you just gotta look at my pictures. Lol. REGARDLESS, everything we had here was fantastic. Mom had the roasted chicken with parmesan fries. She likes to keep it simple. Dessert was also excellent. Value: This is a NICE place. It isn't Michelin Star tasting menu level of expensive, but this is date night. This is special occasion. This is birthday dinner. This is celebration of a promotion kinds of value. Bring the wallet, spare no expense and truly enjoy yourself. Something Extra: I can't say enough good about this place, but here's what restored a little bit of my faith in humanity... Word got around the restaurant of what had happened to our family recently and that today was my parents' actual anniversary. At first, an anonymous guest paid for my drinks, which I was truly thankful for. Then at the end of the dinner... someone else paid for our entire meal. We were so grateful and wanted to thank these people, but they didn't want the attention since they did it anonymously. This speaks volumes of the kinds of people who dine here and represent the restaurant as a whole. Thank you to those who took care of my mom and I that night during a dark time in our lives.

Very nice spot, cozy, with friendly staff. The appetizers were phenomenal. We had the charred burrata and the short rib Arancini. For entrees we had the mushroom gnocchi and the cast iron filet tips. These were disappointing because they were so salty. We also had crispy Brussel sprouts that were very good and nice size to share. If the food wasn't as salty this could be easily a 4 or 5 star place.

When we arrived for our brunch reservation we were informed they had NO heat! Freezing inside. No amaretto for Irish coffee. Establishment looking worn and lacking in Cleanliness...floors littered with debris from dining room to bathrooms...service mediocre. Great location. Food okay. Disappointed. Expected more for upscale dining. $180 with tip for four people for brunch. Two mimosas only alcohol ordered. Not the Parc I remembered from years past.

The Parc experience was wonderful. We could view the large Christmas tree and ice skating through the many windows. The restaurant was festively decorated for the season. They were packed but we still had excellent service from Adam and never felt rushed. We chose lunch items rather than one of the brunch options. We both had the Parc burger and it was prepared perfectly. The fries were exceptional. You won't be sorry picking the Parc.

Superb place for brunch. They opened their walls so we were able to sit in the sun and enjoy the water fountain and breeze. Service was super friendly and we got recommended some really great items. Food was delicious and portion sizes were big enough for us to share. We had a table of 9 and ordered a variety of dishes thinking we would finish it all, but we ended up with quite a bit of leftovers and were stuffed. The drinks were refreshing and on point. My favorites were the salmon croquettes, truffle fries, arugula salad, and bacon!

Service 5/5-workers were great Ambience 5/5 - beautiful place, and clean. Dishes look pretty. That's where the good stops. Food 0/5 - unfortunately as a food establishment, this is a huge let down. Items we tried Bone marrow- Would have been great, but the meat on top was so over salted, you had to mix it with other things to even try to calm it down. Was just average. Lobster bisque- something was off with this. Almost like the fish was bad. Bacon- was solid. Probably the best item we tried. Was a little basic flavor wise, but it was solid enough. Swordfish - worst swordfish I've ever had. Was so dry and flavorless. I would have rather had 4 day old reheated twice chicken. Elk chop - very dry and 0 flavor. All the seasonings and salt must have been used up on the bone marrow, because there was 0 flavor on the mains. Mashed potato side- was average. Had the texture of instant mashed potatoes. Would not shock me if they were. We ate everything because it's who we are. Didn't ask for discounts or anything else. I get paid to travel and try foods, so we eat what we are given, but I would never return. Really sad the food doesn't meet the standards of the great staff, and beauty of the place. Total we spent with tip was about $220, and we both agreed we would have had better food at McDonalds for $30, and We HATE fast food.

Fun spot for brunch! The food and drinks was great, our favorite was the truffle fries.

Can you bring in bottles of wine and if so what is the corkage fee per bottle?

As others have mentioned, seating is somewhat limited, but that only adds to the excellent service and intimate experience. I wish I remembered the names of our server and the manager because they were incredibly kind, accommodating, and helpful throughout the evening. One example of the thoughtful service: I was torn between two white wines, and since my partner ordered one of them, our server offered to bring a small sample of the other so I could compare and choose what I liked best. We also mentioned that we had never tried caviar before but didn't want to commit to a larger portion. They suggested a "bump" for $5 each, walked us through how to enjoy it properly (on the hand, letting it warm slightly), and made the experience feel fun and approachable. We were seated at the bar, which gave us the opportunity to chat more with the server and manager and watch the team prepare dishes for other tables. It genuinely felt like sitting at the chef's table. We both opted for the tasting menu, which changes from time to time, and we were very happy with the selection. We also added the lobster roll, and our server thoughtfully timed it so we could enjoy it alongside the warmer course. The meal began with two different oysters, one topped with caviar, giving us another chance to enjoy it. Next was the shrimp cocktail, which included wasabi--but not in an overpowering way. The flavor was present yet balanced, allowing everything else to shine. The escargot course was especially creative and delicious, paired with basil oil, pepper jelly, and hints of balsamic. While it might sound unusual, the flavors blended beautifully. I expected the pepper jelly to dominate, but it was surprisingly subtle. Next was the potato pavé served with a scallop. The textures were remarkably similar, and the scallop was cooked perfectly. The lobster roll was very good, though I personally found the bread a bit denser than I prefer--I usually like a more buttery, Texas-toast style--but my partner loved it. The turbot followed, accompanied by a chestnut beurre blanc that was incredibly silky and flavorful. It paired wonderfully with the king trumpet mushrooms, black truffle and the fish. The final tasting course was the petit fours: three small cakes--matcha, red velvet, and ginger molasses. They were slightly dense, but still a nice way to end the meal. We also added the house-made basil ice cream (because the basil oil earlier was so good), and that was an excellent decision. Although my birthday had been a few months earlier, once the staff heard we were using a birthday gift card, they surprised me with vanilla ice cream, sprinkles, and a candle--such a thoughtful and unexpected touch. They also treated us to a small glass of dessert wine. By the end of the night, we knew we had found our new favorite place to celebrate. The overall experience is absolutely worth the price point, and I only wish more places were like Mink. We can't wait to return.
