9/5/2026 - decided to hit the strip on Coronado Island and walk around. Perhaps a mile total of walking both sides of the streets, lots of little stores. Grabbed 2 iced HONEY CINNAMON LAITE at $7.50 each. Perhaps maybe 8 ounces? They were good. One had whole mile and the other oat milk. Line was long but took 10 minutes to order and 10 minutes for the drinks to good. 5 stars overall. See photos and check this place out.

We had some cookies and croissants here. They were very good and they have an in-house bakery, which is pretty yummy. They are an orange Avenue in Coronado

This cafe was super quaint and cute. A few tables located both inside and outside cafe. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We ordered an iced mocha latte and an iced salted camel latte. Both were very good and not overly sweet. We loved the cups they came in also!

I got a brekkie(?)(australian?) sandwich, and it was heavenly. Both the croissant and eggs were some of the fluffiest I've had. The texture of these eggs were like.....like......Japanese level. The croissant was also sinfully light and flaky. It was like eating a cloud. The overall flavor was impressive. It had no actual breakfast meat, but was more savory than most breakfast sandwiches I've had that did have meat. The sauce and even the spinach somehow enhanced the effect. A lot of healthy veggie smoothies, but with just a hint of sweetness.

Parakeet is good for health conscious eaters who don't mind paying a premium to avoid seed oils, and other inflammatory "junk" ingredients in their amazing selection of lattes and brunch items. So I really value that aspect, however, this location while cute is a warehouse style building and was extremely loud and echo-y! I will say the poke bowl fell flat in the flavor department. I would stick to their brunch items as this was my first time having lunch and it was just ok. The turmeric latte was delish. Service: Order at the counter then they bring it to the table. I will not be going again unless it's for grab and go coffee smoothie/juice.

Parakeet Bowl (gf, v)

Even though this place is pricy, I think it's worth it. The parakeet bowl was to die for. So many yummy ingredients. The place is spotless, literally so clean. The service turnover was pretty fast, I'd say I got my bowl after 10 minutes of waiting. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and if you come here might as well try the conjoint juice spot next door. Their mission is healthy, clean ingredients, they definitely accomplished their goal. Staff could've been friendlier but that's okay. Parking might be tough, I walked so I didn't have a hassle.

Vegan Lemon Blueberry scone & Herbal hibiscus tea

Vegan options, healthy smoothies and bowls. In the pastry case several vegan options are clearly listed on signs, some gluten-free others nut free, which is good because the other side of the restaurant where the smoothie bar is, there's a lot of walnuts which are allergenic. Tried a vegan lemon blueberry scone, more moist than it looks, good but a bit heavy, grainy, not sweet, light on lemon flavor. The vegan blueberry muffin described by nearby diners as good moist a little sweeter than the scone. A cup of Hibiscus to complete my quest for a tropical paradise morning after dropping off a few people at the airport on the way to Hawaii. It's San Diego's version: healthy, colorful, bright, and lively. Definitely has a good energy vibe. Busy on a Thursday morning but plenty of seating to choose from inside outside and upstairs. No wait to order, short wait for my hot cup. Service was friendly. Difficulties: only 1 occupied bathroom, wait for pre-consumption handwashing and available parking! On a hot Summer day, enjoy the walk you'll likely have getting to this and nearby places.

Roasted Potatoes

Absolutely loved this place! Christmas morning, we decided to stroll around Coronado, and came up upon this little café. The food was absolutely amazing, loved the crunch of the croissant sandwich, and the roasted potatoes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The food was visually appetizing as well as the interior had such a cute vibe. The staff was super friendly and even though it was crowded they were really working to make sure everybody wasn't standing in line or waiting off in areas for too long.. a must try!! The only reason I gave it a four versus a five was to add on some of the sides just seemed way overpriced for me. Wouldn't stop me from coming back.

Breakfast Burrito (veg) Eggs Benedict On Toast (veg) Sushi Wrap

Food was incredible, and served quickly. We ordered a breakfast burrito, sushi wrap, and an eggs benedict with a side of smoked salmon. The place itself is stunning, but seating can be hard to find, which is fair because it was a weekend brunch. Street parking is available.

The theming, vibe, and overall aesthetic of the location are so cute--but the food was unbelievable. Highly recommend the poke bowl, chicken teriyaki bowl, and the Brazilian smoothie!

SUPER Very delicious ! Highly recommend 5 BIG BOOMS !!!! Many different dishes to choose from.

Salted Maple Latte
Sylvester R.

I love the service and food. The Brekki is my favorite along with their salted maple latte. I've only been treated with great respect and kindness when I come here or to any of their locations though the Coronado location is my favorite. Great music and clean bathrooms ...always!

Mint latte , matcha, cinnamon latte

The service was good, loved the ambiance but the coffee was just okay. If you're a lite coffee drinker then this place is for you. My daughter said the matcha was okay.

As always, the place was bustling! This place gives off a Beverly Hills vibe, yet unpretentious at the same time...as the service is very friendly and the menu pricing was affordable. This time, I tried their "Beverly Hills Club"...and this club was so big, we decided to just order this 1 entree and share. We added the Spicy Tuna & Crispy Rice appetizer, and this dessert, Molten Butter Cake. Well, we definitely made the right decision by splitting the club sando as half portion was more than enough. The appetizer Spicy Tuna was absolutely delicious, and the dessert was simply heavenly! Lastly, that Pina Colada Cocktail just couldn't be better!! If there's just one thing that could be improved was the speed of service. We weren't sure if the foods were just late in getting cooked and prepped, or if there's just a delay in getting them delivered...but it took quite awhile. Again, the place was bustling as well. Luckily, the ambiance of the place was so nice, we didn't mind waiting! In fact, I only wish I can return to wait some more.

I brought this to an employee's attention, expecting at least some acknowledgment or concern. Instead, she simply responded, "I know they're in there." There was no apology, no explanation, and she did not seem concerned about the issue at all. Seeing flies inside a closed food display is already unpleasant, but the casual response from the employee made the experience even more disappointing. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the sanitation issue, as well as how concerns like this are handled with customers.

But nonetheless the dark interior and laid back environment was pleasant. Even with the laid back environment, the service was attentive and helpful. You can check out my 2 menu pics for the thematic food and drinks that are available. We started with the Volcano Fries. This dish starts with your basic fries, and goes up from there. As you can see from my pic, there are plenty of seasonings on the fries. But it's ALL about their sauces: Sriracha Aioli and Hot Honey. (BTW, the heat wasn't overly hot and didn't distract from the flavors.). Between the garlic, the sweet/heat action, the creaminess of the Aioli, these fries were very hard to stop munching on. While not a super-phenomenal appetizer, it was incredibly irresistible. We then finished with the Pineapple Fried Rice with Spam & Portuguese Sausage, see my pic. We liked the combination of the fried rice with the rich meats (yes, I classified Spam as a meat. This reminded me of some of the Hawaiian Spam dishes.) The seasoning was rather weak. But it still was a hearty and robust meal.
