The view and the people that work there were definitely 5 stars but the coffee was honestly a 3 so I averaged out and give this place for stars. My fiancé and I walked over after a Pilates class. He got an Americano and I got a latte. Both standard drinks and we drink them at a lot of places... And both of ours were very weak. Mine tasted like milk and his was watery. The girl that worked there was super nice and gave me another shot of espresso to put in it and that did help some but it still wasn't great. Dropped in yesterday at the end of a weekend SD trip. Came to Coronado for the view and to specifically try this coffee spot. I got a Mexicali mocha which ended up being an Iced Abuelita Hot chocolate. It was definitely tasty. Would I get it again? Probably not. Cashier was super friendly. I was near the Coronado pier and was craving for an iced rose latte. After a quick Yelp search, I was able to find this coffee shop. It was just a walk away from the docking station so I decided to give it a shot. There was a short queue and it moved quickly. A queue likely meant that the place was good. I was surprised that they had so many flavors. However, I selected the iced rose latte because that's what I was craving for. The coffee was reasonably priced. The latte came out pretty quickly. The first sip was satisfying! The coffee was made perfectly with the right blend of rose syrup and cold coffee. All in all, I was impressed! Great coffee shop in Coronado! There are a few tables out front to sit and enjoy the coffee or a grass area as well. We ordered a mazapán latte which was delicious, one of the best lattes in general that I've ever had. My fiancé ordered a cinnamon toast crunch latte and that was also delicious! We shared a danish and that was also very good and warm and fluffy. We sat there for a while and enjoyed our coffee. This places was a hit!! I came here today with a mom walking group and I couldn't believe how fast they were. We had over 20 moms in the group and they got through the line so quickly. Not only did I order quickly, I only waited a few minutes for my drink as well. Additionally, their prices were extremely reasonable. My drink was only $5.50. I didn't know you could buy anything in Coronado for 5 bucks. I got a Mexican mocha and it was soooo good. It's like a mocha with some warm cinnamon spices. SO delicious. I stopped by here with my family and it was great. Tucked in the corner I almost didn't see it but so glad I did. The young lady working was very sweet and really helpful with her suggestions as we were all trying to decide what we wanted. I ended up getting the hot chocolate and it was so good! My daughter got the white chocolate hot chocolate and although I liked the Ghirardelli hot chocolate better the white chocolate was good as well. I've had their coconut and honey latte twice. Once hot and once iced and both were delicious! My only complaint is that with the iced, the honey was stuck in the bottom and since it was iced it was hard to stir into my drink. I would suggest maybe putting the honey into the hot espresso shot before adding in ice and milk??? Other than that, it's a nice little place! Parking isn't bad usually, and you have a beach view! You can at their tables, go for a walk, walk on the beach, pier or sit on the grassy area! Lots of food options around as well. Great place with a lot of accommodations. And bathrooms! A small kiosk by Coronado Beach, which always has a long line of customers waiting to order. There are usually two very young ladies, super efficient and friendly, despite the heavy workload, always very warm and welcoming. And the coffee, it is just delicious. It is impossible I go to Coronado Beach and not try their coffee. Freshly brewed and is served at just the right temperature. I did a big walk for the Navy's Bay Bride Walk on Sunday. There were a BUNCH of people out and about after. So of course, the line and wait was longer than usual.
