Stopped by and grabbed their house favorite latte - Basic Sitch. It's made with caramel sauce, vanilla syrup, milk, and espresso on top. I ordered it light on the caramel, and it was absolutely delicious, smooth and well balanced. Great views by Seaport Village, which makes it a perfect spot to grab a coffee and enjoy the area.

So disappointing. "Thighmaster" breakfast sandwich. Soaked in white sauce

Ordered the thighmaster bagel sandwich with extra egg whites & avocado from doordash. This bagel sandwich was soaked in white sauce and dripping in avocado mush. Couldn't even pick it up to eat it. So expensive and this was a mess. Supposed to be a lighter healthier option but this weighed 5 pounds from all the mess on it. Super disappointing after the high cost. Also Burnt bagel was supposed to be "double toasted" not burnt. Don't recommend

We were all going to go on the OLD TOWN TROLLEY SEAL TOUR, but we got to Seaport Village over an hour early. After checking in, we decided to go for Coffee and Bagels. I had the new bagel and the garlic cream cheese, and MY PARTNER and SISTER IN LAW had coffee!!!

Spill the Beans is a cute coffee kiosk that looks like a little lighthouse on the edge of Seaport Village, such a fun spot! The setup is simple with an order counter and pick-up window, and the menu covers all the basics: drip coffee, cold brew, energy drinks, tea, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, pudding bowls, and even a kids menu. They also make it easy with online ordering if you're in a hurry. I love the playful merch and their Kool-Aid man style character; it adds a quirky, welcoming touch. We got lucky jumping in line just before a big crowd hit. Ordered a basic hot latte and enjoyed a seat at one of their tables. The drink could've used a little sweetener, but it was still nice and warming on a chilly afternoon. Great spot for a quick coffee, a snack, and good vibes right by the water!

My friends and I relaxed on a Sunday afternoon enjoying the sun and view of the harbor while we sipped on our iced coffee drinks. I had the OTP with oat milk. Loved it! There was a splash of cinnamon which added a layer of flavor explosion. The service was a bit slow, but we didn't mind. We were all happy with our drinks.

Chaga Iced Latte w/macadamia milk -delish!!!!!

After being introduced to this lil hidden gem, 4 yrs ago, still loving it!! It's the perfect stop on my walks. Not only do they offer specialty drinks and cater to your needs but the service has always been great. See photo for the gentleman that helped me today. His friendly service, knowledge of caffeine equivalents between different drinks, and making sure I knew where to find extra Stevia, if needed -which I needed, LOL, and patience...it's this kind of service that makes me feel welcomed and returning -even when slightly out of the way!! Cute outdoor seating areas all around. Truly love it here on sunny days, like today.

The best bagels in town!! Love the jalapeño on the bun and to enjoy right by the water!

My sister and I stumbled across this place during our San Diego trip last year and we made sure to revisit when were in San Diego for the week this year. We stayed at the Manchester Grand Hyatt so this location was super convenient. We visited on a Friday morning around 8:30AM. We weren't sure how busy they would be so we ordered ahead just in case. I ordered a Medium Iced La Vida Mocha ($6) and a Lox, Stock & Bagel on Serrano, Habenero & Jack Cheese Bagel ($14.99). My sister ordered a Medium Iced Basic Sitch ($6) and the San Dieggo breakfast sandwich on a Serrano, Habenero & Jack Cheese Bagel ($12.99). My sister and I both love spicy and the serrano and habeneros on/in the bagels had a great kick. The lox was fresh and the cucumbers provided the perfect amount of crunch in every bite. The egg in the San Dieggo bagel was cooked perfectly with a jammy yolk and the bacon was nice and crispy. Both drinks are on the sweeter side and delicious. We received a text when our order was ready and picked-it up at the pick-up window. The lady working the espresso machine and pick-up counter was friendly. We then took a seat at one of the tables and enjoyed our breakfast by the marina. It's a great place to people watch and start your morning.

quick for how long the line was, love the location by the waterfront. the coffee was delish! I got the blondie mocha (white chocolate, vanilla, and macadamia), 1/2 sweet & with oat milk, iced. I loved it, might add an extra shot next time bc it needed more coffee flavor but that's personal preference!!

Stopped by Spill the Beans while in San Diego and enjoyed it! I ordered an iced vanilla latte and the Lil' SOB Kids Sandwich with sausage. The latte was good and balanced. The sandwich was surprisingly filling and full of flavor, with well-seasoned sausage. Everything tasted fresh, and the service was friendly and quick. Great spot for a casual coffee and breakfast -- I'd definitely come back!

This is a cute place located close to the water. The menu is extensive, with many options! Food and drinks are tasty and fresh. Service is friendly but slow.

This is my favorite go to spot for breakfast during comic con. Bagels are always so fresh and tasty. Those breakfast bagels are so good. Iced americano with oat milk hits the spot every time. Best way to start the day. The chia seed pudding was so delicious and refreshing too. Tip- order online!!

We stopped by at around 8:20am today and there were only a few people in line. Service was welcoming and kind! They had an assortment of baked goods + empanadas as well as a great matcha/coffee menu. There's lots of seating for anyone who wants to hangout with friends or study. So awesome to see that they serve Nami (aashleyk's matcha brand). I ordered a chicken empanada, pan de elote, & an iced matcha cloud (less sweet & oat milk). Everything was absolutely DELISH. I'm pretty picky about my matcha, especially when it's in an Einspanner form. I loved the contrast between the sweet/salty cloud and the matcha itself! This place has their ratios down perfectly. Can't wait to come back (probably tomorrow)! 11/10.

Most other coffee shops charge $1.00 or more now, so that was a really nice surprise. They also gave me a stamp card for future visits, which I'll definitely be using. Will absolutely be back!

Spill the Beans has completely ruined every other coffee shop for me…read more I'm here every single morning, and there's a reason. The bagels are larger, fluffier, and have this perfect subtle sweetness -- rumor has it they're boiled in agave syrup, and honestly, it shows. The Lox, Stock & Bagel hits different when the bagel itself is this good, and the McLovin is worth every bite too. The rotating selection keeps it fresh enough that I genuinely look forward to switching it up. Then there's the Basic Sitch -- don't let the name fool you. Best Caramel Macchiato I've had anywhere. They have a special Bagel of the month, so make sure to ask what it is. They have several bagel flavors, and different flavor cream cheese spreads. I love the habanero bagel, it's one of my favorites, but just be warned it is very hot. Definitely don't eat it without something cold to drink. They also have a breakfast sandwich called the San Diego which is a favorite of several people I know. You chose the bagel you want it with and they add fried eggs, bacon, cheese and aioli. I highly reccomend it. I've not had a lot of their deinis, but i did order the cinna-bee which has honey, cinnamon, espresso and milk. I thought it was good and would order it again. Definitely check them out and try some of their bagels, or perhaps one of their sandwiches.

Finally got to try this cute Japanese cafe we saw on TikTok, and it did not disappoint!…read more Service: [5/5] The two girls who helped us were so sweet and made the whole experience. We were seated at the bar, which ended up being such a vibe--we got to chat with the girl behind the bar and watch her make lattes and desserts right in front of us. That kind of interaction really sets this place apart. Price: [4.5/5] It's on the pricier side, but honestly it feels fair given the quality of food you're getting. You can taste where your money is going. Food/Drinks: [5/5] Matcha Latte -- We shared one, extra sweet at my request, and it was perfect. Exactly what I was hoping for. Chef Soichi's Karaage -- We had this as an appetizer and my boyfriend made a point to say this is the closest he's had to traditional Japanese karaage. High praise from someone who's passionate about his Japanese culture. Hayashi Omurice -- This is their most popular dish and it's easy to see why. The demi-glaze has a really unique flavor that ties the whole dish together beautifully. This was my pick and I'd order it again without hesitation. Guratan -- My boyfriend's order, and it was incredibly creamy and delicious. We were both too stuffed for dessert by the end, which says a lot about the portion sizes. Ambience: [5/5] The restaurant is small, but honestly that's part of what makes it so charming. Pink everywhere with wooden accents and cherry blossoms throughout (very fitting)--it's cozy, homey, and just really well put together. The intimate size adds to the appeal rather than taking away from it. Overall Experience: [5/5] Hatsuzakara was such a wonderful first experience. Yes, we waited about 30 minutes to be seated arriving at 7:30 on a Friday night but for a waitlist-only spot this small, that's actually a pretty reasonable wait by San Diego standards. The food, the atmosphere, and the staff more than made up for it. Already looking forward to coming back to try the curry and work through their dessert menu.

I feel like everything looked really good, so it was hard to decide what to order. The dishes have small portion size despite the price. I think this kinda helps in that you have room to eat dessert! The brown sugar Okinawa tea was good but the after taste of the sugar was not good. They kept the tea pot warm, and they served oat milk on the side. Karaage had too much chicken skin for my preference. Guratan was penne pasta and not macaroni as specified in the menu. Yakisoba could have used more chicken. Omurice had the more flavor and the egg was really good. I want to try naporitan next time because of the tomato based sauce. Of the desserts I tried, the parfait was most enjoyable because of the fruit with ice cream. The mushi pudding was good; it was the thick and "hard" type of flan. I want to try kakigori next time because I saw their shaved ice machine was legit. Parking - free street parking only. Be prepared to walk up/downhill. Credit card/apple pay accepted Bathroom is only one room in the back. THE SEAT IS WARM. This was a nice gem to find in this part of town.
