Saturday mornings are super busy here, usually with a line out the door! I got the dirty Diego on an everything bagel, sooo fire. Loved the grilled onions and bacon bits (rather than slices). Although, everything did seem to slide out the end of the sandwich so be careful of that. I do wish the sauce it came with wasn't so vinegary and more spicy? Would definitely come here again and try other breakfast sandos

I came here with my friends and there was only street parking. We had to walk a little bit but it wasn't too bad. Line was out the door but didn't feel like a long wait. I got the BLAT and it was very good. The girl taking our order was nice and answered any questions my friend had. They have seating inside as well as outside. There is a restroom in the back. I love that owners can bring their dogs with them. It make the outside seating more fun.

Nomad Donuts in North Park has been here for over ten years making it an iconic place to be at. This shop is always crowded and street parking is a challenge. My first visit here was over a year ago and luckily met with the owner Brad! Brad and his staff were super nice and have always been every time I visit. I'm not a hugh fan of donuts, but I always find the perfect one for me here. I really like that they offer lots of vegan and not too sugary sweet donuts. So far, these donuts haven't given me any bad reaction or sickness like other donuts have. This shop also offers Montreal style bagels, sandwiches, coffee drinks for breakfast and lunch. Indoor, outdoor seating and dog friendly. The majority of customers are young and vivacious making the ambiance lively. I've never stayed in to dine as I always do togo. A must visit. Recommend!

Great stop into Nomad. It was super busy and after only 1 hour of opening they were sold out of a few things. For donuts went with a vanilla bean and Dubai chocolate and also got an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and bagel with cream cheese. Service was friendly and the wait wasn't long for our order. The donuts were so good we all really loved the Dubai chocolate. The bagels were perfect. Chewy on the inside with a little crunch on the outside. Definitely a great spot and we will have to get there right when they open next time for a full selection!

The service here is always really friendly, which I appreciate so much. The bagels are good, though not anything exceptionally special. I would appreciate a bit more variety of bagels. The schmears are really tasty, especially the Chipotle Onion, I highly recommend adding that to your sandwich! My one complaint is that the wait time is always quiet long. They have vegan alternatives to almost everything on the menu, which is a HUGE draw and the reason we continue to return.

Arrived Sunday (45min before closing). There were still a lot of options available. The bakery/cafe has vegan and regular options. There is also more than donuts. There are breakfast hot items and coffee/drink selections. This place is laid back and great for all ages and party sizes. Order 7 donuts (3 are not pictured) for $22. The ones in the box are the ones I tried: ube, guava cream cheese, maple, and flan. Flan was the best and most expensive. 4/5 stars because the icing on the ube, guava, and maple was very thin. The dough was a mixed between cake and cronut? I'm not sure, but a little stale. Again, we did arrive 45mins before closing too. So these donuts could have been the last stash. The flan donut though.... Fire!!

Is anything done well anymore, or is everything just expensive and of lowest possible quality? I got this donut today and when I opened the box two minutes later that they put it in, the donut had brown smudge from another donut on one side, smashed up chocolate icing on top, and a small glob of green on the other side from either another donut or avocado toast. You wait fifteen minutes to buy a $5 donut, you expect to get a donut that looks nice, is intact, and doesn't have two other donuts' flavors smooshed onto it. That's not too much to ask for.

Updated review... This place is still the shiiii (you know) Mainly come for the donuts. Always fresh and oh sooooo fluffy! I came back to realize monthly donuts change now. Lucky me to find out Dubai was in rotation. Our all time favorite : cream cheese Guava. Truly can't go wrong with any of their regulars. The kids love Vanilla and Sprinkle. Their Vietnamese coffee is 10/10. Service is always great! Awesome cashiers. If you're stumped I'm sure they can offer some great recommendations as well. Nomad you have a place in my heart.

My friends rave about this place, from their recommendations, I had to give it a try. AMBIANCE: Parking: Welcome to NO(rth) PARK. Come early, stay alert. There's neighborhood, street parking, and one parking structure. Seating: Inside seating and outside shaded seating. Good for about 40 people. Vibes: North Park is a fun place to be with a lot of commercial businesses and community events here and there. It is not on the main strip but on University and still walking distance to many of the North Park festivities. You're welcomed by some good hip hop music and sounds of the employees putting in work. a good The space is nothing too flashy, just a good flow of local art, acclamations, and donuts in display. Great place to catch up with a friend, take a quick pause from the hustle and bustle, or get work done. FOOD: Classic Sando (Recommend) A savory/delicious bagel enclosing lovely ingredients such as scrambled eggs, cheese (I got pepperjack), and I paid extra for protein (bacon). A brekkie delight that got my day going. Matcha Latte - Strawberry (Recommend) Matcha has a way of keeping me grounded. An earthy and smooth delight with fresh strawberry concentrate to add some natural sweetness to it. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Lana is dope. Friendly person that knows her stuff. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars. Creative dishes, good food, and reasonable prices. My major regret was sticking to fundamentals, yes it's a good baseline but they do have signature bites that you're everyday bagel place provides. I'm looking forward to coming back here for more food and vibes. TIPS: * Check their website/social for their specials! * They turn off the wi-fi on weekends.

Nomad donuts continues to be my favorite donut spot in San Diego. I love their flavors which aren't too sweet compared to other donut places. I especially love their seasonal specials. Their breakfast menu also hits the spot quite nicely. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the cafe itself has a homey feel. Will be back again!

Decided to pop in since I'm in the neighborhood. Parking sucks on a Saturday around 12:45pm. Even though the line was out the door, the wait was probably 5-10 minutes so it wasn't bad. They ran out of donuts right when I got to the counter, but I came in for bagels so that doesn't matter. So just note if you want donuts to come in before noon on the weekend. It's loud inside with people grabbing quick breakfast before going on about their day. I ordered the sesame bagel with sun-dried tomato cream cheese on the side. They gave it to me in the bagel already, so that sucked since I was saving it for later. I also ordered the za'atar bagel (Mediterranean style with herbs and citrusy notes) with chipotle grilled onion cream cheese. Watch out because the chipotle cream cheese is kinda spicy. I wouldn't get that combo again since it was too flavorful. Plenty of cream cheese in it, so that was a plus.

Are they serving donuts & treats soy free?

Did you stop serving the Southwest Bacon Egg & Cheese breakfast bagel?

No, you can still order it. It’s off the main menu but can be found on the Secret Menu if you’re ordering online. If you’re in the shop or ordering by phone you can just ask for it by name.

What are the allergens in the vegan donuts (e.g., tree nuts in the frosting)?

The vegan donuts all contain soy. When it comes to the glazes each one is different. If it contains nuts we usually top it with nuts. You’re best to ask about a particular flavor as the donut menu changes monthly. You should also let us know of your… Read more

Are you supposed to ask for the donuts to be heated when ordering them? We got them and they were cold.

Hi Stephen, all the donuts are served at room temperature. We make them fresh from scratch every morning. They have to cool before we glaze them or the glaze runs off because we don’t use coagulant additives. You can heat them at home if you like.

When are you going to start actually having donuts again? I was very disappointed today when I went into your shop.

Hi, thanks for coming by. As soon as we can find qualified staff to make them. We make everything from scratch so it not that easy. We are working on making the glazes and fillings and hopefully will have someone to decorate the donuts soon. I hope… Read more

Do you provide delivery vegan donuts with Postmates?

I’m sorry we don’t have our donuts on Postmates or any other delivery service.

Where's your menu for vegan donuts? Are your vegan donuts 100% vegan?

It’s available on our website. We post it the day before but sometimes it’s a little later in the day on Thursdays.

Hi. Do you deliver vegan donuts?

Hi. Sorry, we don’t. You can order online for same day pick up or curbside deliver at kyoo.tech/Nomad.

Are there gluten free options that are also dairy free?

They have vegan as well as standard but I've never seen anything gluten free.

I read on article about how the original chef (from 30th St. location) no longer works at Nomad anymore. Are the donuts still as good as before?

This used to be my go-to place for unique, creative donuts. However, they just haven't been as good the last few times I've been. The crullers used to be perfect every time (crisp outside and melt-in-your-mouth inside). And the raised donuts were… Read more

    Do you boil your bagels?

Yes. Rolled and baked by hand too!

    Is it vegan?

They have a good selection of vegan donuts, however they also serve non-vegan food.

We had spent most of the day around Bankers Hill and decided to grab an early dinner at Books & Records. Getting reservations was easy, but from the moment we walked in, the ambiance alone already had us sold. The place was still pretty quiet when we arrived, and to our surprise it was happy hour, so naturally we ordered a bunch of items off the menu along with drinks. Everything was ridiculously good. Not one miss. What really stood out though was the attention to detail. The host brought us a complimentary glass of champagne after hearing we were celebrating our anniversary. Small gesture, big impact. Stuff like that matters. As the night went on, the restaurant filled up, live music started playing, and the whole atmosphere just came alive. Our waiter never rushed us once, which made the experience feel even more intentional and relaxed. We were able to actually enjoy the moment instead of feeling pushed through dinner service. Good food is one thing. Great hospitality is another. This place gave us both. Next time we're in San Diego, we're absolutely making it a point to come back. Lovely spot. Lovely experience.
