Little Frenchie is a 10/10! We had a little bit of a snafu when we first arrived, but the manager, Daniel, went above and beyond to make up for it in every possible way. He genuinely reminded me of what hospitality is supposed to be. Someone who understands that being in the service industry means taking care of your guests, treating them with kindness, and making them genuinely want to come back. He completely turned our experience around. And the food was incredible. We had the quiche, one with mixed greens and one with potatoes. Surprisingly, we actually preferred the salad over the potatoes, but the real star was the quiche itself. I can confidently say it was the best quiche I've ever had. We also tried a cronut, which was my first time having this type of pastry, and it was absolutely delicious. This is the kind of restaurant I would recommend to anyone and everyone because they don't just excel at their food, the service is equally wonderful. A restaurant can have great food, but when you combine that with people who genuinely care about the guest experience, it makes for a location you dream of coming back too. Most of the staff are quite friendly, and I definitely recommend making a reservation in advance if you plan to visit on the weekend because it can get very busy. Food: Was disappointed that my daughter's buttered noodles came out as noodle soup. Seems like it was not strained enough before it left the kitchen. They addressed it immediately but should have never left the kitchen like that. My other daughter ordered a well-done steak yet it was still very bloody. Her fries were good. I ordered it medium with a sunny-side egg and truffle fries. i will say the truffle sauce was really good. My dad had the buckwheat crepe and he said it was good as well. Gotta admit, what got me here was their viral hot chocolate croissant, but it lived to the hype. We had a group of five and had a full brunch here with the croissant being our sweet dessert at the end. The hot chocolate was thick, but not too sweet, while the croissant was the perfect flakiness. If you just want a taste, one pot is enough for 2-3 people. For our group of 4, two spiral cups (aka the croissant) gave each of us a nice amount of croissant-hot chocolate ratio to enjoy. All the food we ordered was quite yummy! We split it all and was sufficiently satisfied without feeling too food comatose. Our favorite, besides the hot chocolate with spiral cup, was the GB&J with bacon (do not skip on the bacon). Our server was awesome and so was everyone at Little Frenchie. It honestly felt like they prioritized larger parties over a solo diner, since so many tables remained empty for well over an hour. I explained that I had come specifically for the hot cocoa spiral croissant, and they let me know it was first come, first served. I accepted that and returned at 5:45 p.m. When I came back, the restaurant still had plenty of empty tables, and at 6:00 p.m. I was seated at the exact same table for two that had been empty for almost an hour and a half. After being seated, I waited another 10 minutes before anyone came to my table. During that time, several staff members walked by, moving things around, but no one acknowledged me, even though the restaurant wasn't full. When my server finally arrived, I was told they had already run out of the hot cocoa spiral croissant. They did offer me a complimentary pastry, which I appreciated, but after waiting so long, it felt like a waste of time. We made reservations about two weeks in advance, but outdoor seating was still the only option available. Flies and gnats were constantly flying around our food and drinks, and at one point, a gnat was crawling all over my glass. We had to get our server's help to replace it. Took my son's girlfriend here as a celebration she just passed her clinical exam to become an official Physical Therapist! I had the Eggs Benedict on a croissant and she had the Quiche. I asked about ordering the spritzer and was told two things: 1. He didn't think they made it. 2. He "didn't have time." That response honestly caught me off guard. A paying customer walks in asking to purchase a product your restaurant does in fact make, and the answer is that you don't have time? Serving guests is literally the core function of hospitality. Thankfully, one of the waitresses, Rachel, who had helped me during a previous visit completely turned the experience around. I asked her for the drink and without hesitation she smiled and said, "Right away!" Within moments she returned with the spritzer in hand. Professional, courteous, and exactly the kind of service that keeps people coming back. I explained the interaction to her and she looked genuinely puzzled. I later mentioned it to the manager, whom I've met before and always found to be approachable, professional, and kind. He was clearly appalled by what happened and handled the situation with sincerity and care. That's exactly why this place continues to earn high marks from me. Problems can happen anywhere. What matters is whether management and experienced staff know how to recover -- and they absolutely did. The seasoned staff and management here understand hospitality.
