Great place! Loved the decor and greenery. Felt like Cali! Liz was great! So fun and made for a great night!

My husband and I just finished brunch here! Dawn was our server and she was amazing! Very informative on the menu and any questions we had. She was attentive to all of our needs but also left us alone to enjoy our meal. We highly recommend visiting here! read more

This was my first time at Paradiso and it was AMAZING! The atmosphere was beautiful and the food was perfection! Our waitress Elizabeth was super sweet and recommended some great dishes! She even convinced us to get the flour less chocolate cake, which was the best! Great restaurant and definitely recommend! read more

Ok where to start with Paradiso! The name kinda of says it all! The food was great and the drinks were amazing. It was super busy but the service did not suffer at all, a big thanks to Carrie because she was an absolute delight! Had a perfect night and an even better date to share it with! We will be back for sure!! read more

The beet salad, fried artichokes and delicious cocktails are to die for in an atmosphere that delights. This is a fabulous place for date night, good friends or large parties. The wide open space, outside fountain and super comfortable lounge makes for a fabulous experience. From other reviews there appears to be some service issues (and where don't you find those anymore?) but our waiters have always been good. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other delicious sounding menu items! read more

My friend and I celebrated our birthdays here last night and the service was the best. I want to thank Kevin the manager for taking care us and bringing in our birthdays with a bang! It was all my tables first time being there and we didn't know what to expect. The food and drinks were Delish! The Oysters and beef tenderloin is a must. Again, thank you for the great service and experience! read more

A friend and decided to check out this place despite some mediocre reviews. First, this place has great ambience, from the center stage bar to the amazing patio (only wish it had been a Sunday afternoon to enjoy the patio). The staff was super friendly and offered great service. I ordered the tenderloin and it was cooked to perfection (medium)! And was nicely paired with a field greens salad. I will definitely be back to enjoy the outdoor space. read more

Omg!!! I've been here several times. Each time I go I am impressed. The beautiful setting and the super friendly staff always take care of us. If you want to be in a fabulous setting Instagram worthy pics and yummy food go here!!! read more

I was really hoping this place wouldn't disappoint, since the atmosphere and aesthetic is so cool, but the service and food were subpar. Took about 15 minutes to actually get a waiter to take our order. Everyone at my table had the same thing to say about their food: "it's ok". Our waiter also never came to check on us until it was time for the check. I'd recommend coming here just for drinks at the bar, otherwise you will be disappointed. read more

I don't mean to echo nearly every other review of this restaurant. The atmosphere and setting is fantastic - tastefully and beautifully done. Great for brunch during warm weather with seating outside. Our experience was at brunch at a time where there wasn't too many people at the restaurant. Firstly getting a reservation is challenging. We tried calling four times during business hours with no answer. We even left a message for a call back. Never got an answer or call back. While at the restaurant, the server was nice but quite aloof. Silverware was an issue. Food was tasty and good. That is IF you get it. We were told pasta and pizza come from different kitchens and may come out separately. Don't be fooled, that time spread can be longer than you expect. Two of us received the pasta and proceeded to wait for others. After about 5 minutes, those with pasta started, ate at a slow and comfortable pace and finished. Even by this point, no sign of pizza. Another 15 minutes passes, I had to get up from my seat and find a manager to ask about progress, our waitress no where in sight. I was told they were backed up, thought it was a joke as the restaurant wasn't that full, and ours was next up. Of course the apologises followed. We were refunded our pizza which was a wise decision. Although, we were fine paying full price to enjoy a meal together with friends, not shovelling down pizza while other members of the table were looking to leave. Ultimately, worth going for a drink. Would be cautious about having a meal. read more

The inside is gorgeous and a place you want to come for cocktails, but the high points end there, unfortunately. The artichokes were the only item that were truly enjoyed, the meatballs were only so-so, the beet salad while normally a favorite was awful and tasted like there was bug spray on top, no one could eat it, the pizza was almost good, there were so many burnt spots on the bottom no one could finish their slice, the pastas were subpar, bland and overly dense, two even tasted alike and one was truffle so that's not what you want, like child good chicken and dumplings flavor but not in a good way, the lamb pasta meat/sauce were good but the pasta made it fall so short. The service was not great, they weren't busy but seemed all over and disappeared for long periods of time. I wanted to like this place, was certain I would but the food was so disappointing. read more

This is my new favorite hangout spot for great drinks, food and an all around good time. Loved the vibe each time I visited, and my friends and I never leave disappointed. Our last waitress, Hannah, was absolutely phenomenal. She was very outgoing and jovial, and gave really good suggestions to my best friend and I. We will definitely make plans to return to Paradiso, and hope that Hannah is there to make for an even more enjoyable experience. read more

Gerald, Giovanni, and Noe fantastic service and incredible food. Awesome new spot in the Dallas area. Highly recommend!

This place was amazing! We started w drinks next door and then made our way over to the restaurant. From the moment we walked in everything was perfect. The drinks were great, we were given a complimentary bottle of champagne for a birthday celebration. We started out with the bread and friend artichokes, the artichokes were wonderful, the bread was fine, nothing to remember. Many of us ordered the salmon or the truffle pasta, both were great. We ended the night with the poached pear dessert and it was great and so pretty! The ambiance was beyond perfect, decorated perfectly, the bathrooms were even gorgeous. A must go to restaurant! read more

I really wanted to like this place, it's such a beautiful atmosphere, but sadly me and some of my girlfriends drove all the way from Southlake to have a Sunday brunch that didn't turn out to be the way we expected! They had a wait time, which the host took my number and said she would call when our table was ready, which wasn't a problem because there's so much to explore down there. After about an hour that passed and I never received a phone call, so we decided to go back and check to see if I missed the call. Supposedly they called and I never received a call! They offered us a table inside and I asked if we could have an outside table because it was so beautiful out that day, we were told it would be about another 45 minute wait! So we decided inside the inside table was fine, they placed us in the corner basically! Which isn't a problem but it was away from everyone else, we wanted to get a carafe, was told it was still going on, but the waitress said it wasn't anymore, so brought a bottle of champagne instead, not a problem! The service and the energy that was given off to us felt like they didn't want us there so we didn't want to stay any longer! We decided to finish what we had and go! We told the waitress we wouldn't order food that we would finish out mimosas get the check and go, we had 3 glasses of mimosas! We received the check and was roughly charged about $36 dollars for 3 mimosas! I just really hope they don't treat everyone like this! Like I said it's a beautiful place but the hospitality wasn't the best! read more

Moroccan meatballs are super tasty. Cacio e Pepe is to die for. Atmosphere is one of the best in dallas. Outdoor patio makes you feel like you're not in dallas. read more

Absolutely love the vibe, service and menu selections. If it was closer to my house I'd be there every day

For a Monday night our wait was very long (1 hour...with open tables which I assume means they were understaffed). Appetizers took 30 minutes to come out which was frustrating after how long we waited for a table. We got the meatballs which were really flavorful, id recommend them. I was very dissapointed with the rest of the food and how slow the kitchen was. A friend and I split the Cacio e Pepe and it was very chewy...and not peppery at all and a small portion. It had a very strong lemon flavor which I was suprised by. We also split the soppresata pizza, which was burnt. The ambiance is amazing, they did an incredible job with it, I was just very dissapointed in the food. I'd give it another once they have a few more months under their belt. read more

We had a reservation set 24 hours in advance. We were running 10 minutes late. I called the restaurant to confirm we were coming and they confirmed our reservation and said to come. Upon arrival both hostesses denied taking to me on the phone. I pulled up my call log and confirmed the number. I showed that I talked to them for a minute on my call log and they denied it.... AFTER CONFIRMING THE NUMBER. Rude service, lack of organization and the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. We left and went to another restaurant and we are SO HAPPY we didn't stay there - manager was as bad as the hostesses. read more

This is a lovely atmosphere. However, even my first time going here we had to wait and wait. My friends pizza took about 20 minutes AFTER I received mine. The manager did comp the pizza and offered one glass of a mimosa but by then we were over it. Also, I have been trying to make a reservation for a party of 15, I called twice and I filled out the online application twice and I STILL haven't been contacted via phone or email. TRUST ME, I've been looking. It was such a big disappointment to me and my friends since we have been to Paradiso individually and have loved it. This changed my view about coming here again. read more

Came in for a girls lunch and ordered the toasted fregola, Mediterranean salad, bavette, basmati rice and chicken paillard. Everything was so fresh, and our waitress was the sweetest bubbliest person! Also looks like you are not in Dallas at this place, so green and airy! Totally recommend and will be back for drinks read more

Loved the vibe! I was on a trip with a few of my girlfriends and we had the best experience. The food, drinks, and atmosphere, all so fresh and amazing! Felt like a slice of LA has just opened up in Dallas in the best way possible, 10/10 would recommend! read more

First, the atmosphere is fantastic. After being under construction for so long, it lived up to the hype. Would recommend going purely for a drink to check out the space. As for everything else, the restaurant has some major kinks to work out before finding their groove. Service: The service was extremely slow, but from what we could tell, the restaurant was very understaffed for its size. Our server was very friendly and kind, but not yet knowledgeable to discuss the wine list with us when we had questions about the varietals that we weren't familiar with. So, we ended up settling for something different. Our server also asked us how we wanted the meal coursed out, but the food did not arrive at all how we requested. The pizzas come out extremely fast (under 5 minutes), while we waited for our starter salad and app to arrive another 10-15 minutes past that. They delivered the side to our main with the starter salad, so in order to for it not be cold we ate the side before we ever got our main dish. The kitchen needs to be working together on coursing out meals or communicate to those dining that they aren't able to handle it and food will come as it's ready. Food: the food was very small portions for what it cost and how it was described by the staff. The pizzas are kiddie size and fit on a salad plate, but were the best thing we had so ended up ordering a second. The pastas are appetizer portions and was overcooked rather than al dente (we had the cavatelli). The buvette steak was promoted by our server as the best main on the menu, but came to us so charred that even though the inside was done medium rare like we had requested, we could barely eat it due to tasting only burnt crust. Overall, would love to go back and try again when they've had some time to work things out. read more

Four of my girlfriends and I went there. The place is a dream.! It's beautiful and Instagram worthy. We got cocktails and the cocktails were good, the service not that great and the food was horrible, we skipped desert. We all got different plates to try different things and we all agreed that the only decent thing on the menu was the food! We were so disappointed. The waiter noticed we didn't eat our food and he asked several time if we had not liked it but we didn't have the courage to tell him that the food was not good, he did however take it off our ticket without us asking so that was very nice of them. I hope they change their menu. I would definitely go back if that was the case! I give it one star because the restaurant is adorable and would have so much more potential if the food was better. read more

I am only giving this restaurant two stars because the design/interior is to die for and Dallas needed something like this...With that being said the restaurant unfortunately lacked in every other category. If you are looking for a fun/picturesque place to JUST grab drinks, then yes this is perfect. If you are looking for good food do NOT go here. My friends and I dined for brunch and ordered a good assortment of food and were truly disappointed. Food was cold, poorly presented and most importantly unappetizing. The pizza was cold, barely had any cheese or toppings that were listed- some of the worst pizza I had ever had.It was almost as if they were going out of their way to make bad food, that's how bad. I am typically not one to be mindful or focused on the service but it was noticeably bad. I can only speak for our waiter but he was inattentive, did not know the menu, never checked on us or asked if we needed refills, just flat out seemed like he did not want to be there... We were waiting and waiting for our check and eventually had to grab another waiter. I know restaurants take some time in the beginning to get in the swing of things but my experience would keep me from going back. read more

Went for the first time for lunch. First impression the aesthetics of the space are a delightful blend of materials; open and bright with rich and playful details. The attention to every design element is striking. The food was just as thoughtful, from the homemade pita to the perfectly al dente pasta. We ordered an array but the standouts were the meatballs, an indulgent surprise served with an egg and the chicken paillard, simple but delicious. Really every bite of the experience was wonderfully satiating. I am looking forward to coming back and trying the desserts! On a service note it was exceptional. Sat at the bar and everything was brought out promptly. read more

i wish i could leave zero stars. the service was horrible. i asked the waiter if the salmon was super fishy and he replied with "its fish." i then had two different people come and spill water on my food while filling my glass and then walking away with a simple "sorry." I think this waiter was not expecting a good tip from a table of five teens, however despite his attitude and rudeness i left more than i would have. Paradiso needs to up their service for the price of the food. read more

Paradiso lives up to its name. The restaurant is open, lively, and fresh. Great for any occasion. Treat your family and friends to a vibrant and DELICIOUS experience. The staff was great, the drinks were great, the atmosphere was great, but the food was better. Compliments to the chef. read more

Paradiso is such a refreshing atmosphere, as soon as you walk in. The natural light and the greenery makes it feel spa like. The wait staff was extremely timely and attentive. They never let our waters get empty, and remembered our names. The food was incredible. What you are eating makes it seem like a Michelin star restaurant, for such a reasonable price. We definitely recommend the shoulder porchetta, the cold angel hair noodles (SO refreshing!) and the Italian sausage pizza. We topped everything off with the most amazing strawberry shortcake I have ever had. The Paradiso Dallas cocktail was amazing as well! So refreshing on a warm day. We can't wait to come back again! read more

This place has a really cool atmosphere. Tons of flies in the dining room area though - they need to get that under control! I hate swatting flies incessantly throughout my dinner. The food was just OK, I'd say it wasn't anything you drive for- just decent food, nothing to write home about. The price was too expensive for the taste. The server was sneaky, asking what we wanted to drink and we stayed with water, but they brought our expensive bottled water. After we declined starters and ordered, they circled back to ask if we wanted something for the table like some pita bread or almonds, etc (sounded very innocent), we thought it was house bread...we said, "sure!" We quickly looked it up as we thought they might be trying to pull a fast one again..sure enough - there was a $4.00 charge for pita bread...funny how after you decline a starter, they circle back at the end very nonchalantly and ask if you want something that would seemingly be free...just be careful and ask for the costs- they'll sucker you! read more

I have been here before for lunch and loved the food and ambiance so I came back with my husband and another couple. We arrived at 5 on a Saturday and were told by the hostess that they weren't talking walk ins, only reservations. The restaurant was less than half occupied but we didn't have a reservation so I totally understood. We decided to sit at the bar once seats were available. However, an hour and a half later, I noticed that half the restaurant was still unoccupied. I went back to the hostess and asked why they weren't sitting anyone and she was rude and continued to tell me that they were busy and weren't taking walk ins. The place was mostly empty! Once I talked to the manager, he told us that their system was down so they weren't talking walk ins but was never told this. And what if we paid with cash?? I love this restaurant but it's a shame because there are plenty of other restaurants to go to in Dallas with good food and better customer service. Would recommend going somewhere else! read more

awesome meal tonight! everything was great, would recommend all the pastas. liz was wonderful! will definitely be back.

food was ok, couldn't enjoy it though because i felt very uncomfortable because our waiter and another male waiter kept staring at us

Came here with a friend and was pretty disappointed. They have a real cute set up with the interior and exterior design but I was disappointed by the menu and the customer service. Upon arrival at 4pm on Saturday we had to wait 20 minutes for a table. No big deal. We wait and wait and wait and the hostess forgets about us and seats other people that just walked in ahead of us. When she noticed us she was super rude and told us "to sit over there at that table." Luckily our waitress was much nicer than the hosts. The menu was very disappointing. For it to be mediterranean food it was really a menu that resembles an Italian restaurant. I ordered the cavatelli pasta and for $16 it was the size of a kids meal with only 3 small pieces of sausage on top. The sauce was good but the pasta was very chewy. Which is just very disappointing for the price you pay. My friend ordered the wood fired bavette which is a piece of beef that came with a arugula salad. It was a small portion as well for $18. Very chewy piece of meat as well, not cooked well at all. Other than a good atmosphere and super cute decor this place was a let down. Definitely not worth coming here for food unless you are not very hungry and want to spend a good bit of money on something the size of a kids meal. Maybe just come by for one of those $12 cocktails and check out the atmosphere. read more

Two stars at best. No instagram filter is going to make up for the sub-par quality of food. The Porchetta starter was honestly very good; extremely tender and well thought out. I had high hopes from there. To my surprise, my boyfriends Tenderloin was seared well done after ordering it medium and over salted. However, the Cod that I ordered was by far the appetite killer. My first bite was like dumping the contents of a salt grinder into my mouth. As parched as I was, I politely made the server aware. They remade the dish and the second Cod came out as a piece of hot fish on a bed of some Brussels Sprouts with absolutely zero seasoning. The slap in the face was that they had forgotten to finish the plate with the beurre blanc sauce or micro green garnish the first dish was served with. The server was apologetic, which I respect. There's better to be had in the district. I hope the rest of the District's gentrification doesn't turn out this way. read more

This place could have been great. The setting is ideal, but it falls short on almost every other level. The vibe we were met with at the hostess stand was cold. It wasn't even busy, but it took a very long time to receive our appetizer. Our waitress was one of the few highlights. She was very attentive and friendly. The pork chop was mediocre. The soup my wife got was very sugary, which was odd. It almost tasted like a dessert. The meatballs were actually good. The music playing did not match the setting or neighborhood at all. Here's a tip for all new bars and restaurants: You don't have to thump top 40 music to try to appeal to the masses. Expect more of people. If you have a beautiful setting and architecture like you do at this place find music that matches the setting and know that people will appreciate and dig it. This might seem like a minor detail and subjective based on music taste, but it's as important as decor. Mismatched music can instantly make a place feel inauthentic and soulless. Music with some chill Spanish vibes or uptempo jazzy music would match perfectly. I don't want to feel like I'm at some douchey club in Uptown while I'm sitting down trying to have a nice meal with my wife. Overall, bad vibes and average food at best. Would never come back. There are too many other good options in Bishop Arts. Very disappointing. read more
