Being on the road while we snowbird, we wind up in a lot of different laundromats. I rate this one highly because it was clean and the machines were efficient. The attendant on duty today was very helpful and came right out to see if we needed anything. He also was very proactive in cleaning up any spills, picking up trash, and general cleanup. Kudos. Friday is laundry day. I travel full time. I use recommendations from maps, yelp, g- reviews to find a clean modern facility. This one was not it. Lots of old top loaders but quite a few of the front loaders were out of service. 7 not working and about 10 working. The dryers were all working. The timers were a bit fast on a few. Nothing new or fresh about this place. In the area again and I will look elsewhere. read more

This was Day 29 of fulltime traveling with 3 kiddos. This place was awesome, super clean & well run. We had a dryer not dry well and was immediately refunded our money back. A very pleasant woman greeted me, asked how she might help, walked me to the right machine for my load, made change for me and showed me to the soap purchase machine. She kept an eye on me and helped me negotiate the fussy coin slots on the washing machine. So glad I washed a load here - friendly, clean family business to which I'll return as needed. read more

THIS IS THE WORST LAUNDROMAT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!! I've been using laundromats once a week for the past 4 years so it's not my first rodeo. Let's first talk about the manager - she had a horrible attitude from the minute you looked at her. She absolutely should not be in customer service! The equipment - it is extremely old and worn out. Several of the machines had 'not in use' signs on them. I used 3 'Commercial' washers. When 1 of them was done, my clothes were soaking wet - I had what I would consider an average load in this Commercial washer (3 pairs of jeans, 3 t-shirts, 1 bath towel and a couple kitchen hand towels). I told the manager that the machine obviously doesn't work to which she (with a raised voice) told me I probably broke it because I overloaded it. Seriously? She said I should be using the top load machines (like a home washer). The Commercial washers are $3; top loaders $2.50 so obviously smaller wouldn't ya think? So if I supposedly overloaded the Commercial washer wouldn't it overload the top loader? I had to pay another $3 to run this load through again in another washer so I could dry them. She did not pay or offer to help in any way... just kept telling me I overloaded the machine. The dryers - some would give 4.58 minutes per quarter read more

This was the worst laundry mat I have ever been in! When my husband & I entered and was putting our laundry in the machines the attendant approached us to inform us of which washing machines we could use for which clothes! I'm 62 and have never been told how to do my own laundry, I had 6 towels and was made to put them in 2 different machines, was told that I could not wash my Small kitchen rug in her machines! The dryers were terrible I put very little in them and used 4 quarters in every single dryer and still brought wet clothes home to hang out and dry. I should have taken pictures because I guarantee you the pictures they have on the App is not recent at all, this place was awful,Dirty& just terrible. My husband had to leave & go elsewhere to break a $50, for as much $$ that you are forced to use in this nasty place you would think they would at least give you change, I will Drive 45 miles Back to my Laundromat in APACHE JUNCTION before I ever step foot back in this Nasty place! read more

Lots of washing machines (both large and extra large) and dryers. All of which were operational. Everything is very, very clean. Large folding tables and plenty of carts for moving washing from washer to dryer to folding table. The manager on duty was extremely helpful. The best laundromat I have ever used - by far! read more

Just moved to North Phoenix and a friend suggested this Laundromat. Very clean. My first trip was on a Sunday and the two men were very helpful.... Offered to carry laundry to and from car as I'm older. I had so much laundry and was so tired from moving I forgot my beautiful queen sheets in the dryer. They folded and bagged them for me. I went in there to wash some comforters not knowing what to expect, as I've been to other laundromats that were not clean, half the equipment was broken, and tons of seedy people outside. This was just the opposite! It's not new or fancy, but it is clean, nothing broken, and no seedy people! There were plenty of chairs, tv, clean restroom, and vending machines. The young man who was working this afternoon was extremely helpful and friendly. I also noted that they are following the CDC guidelines for sanitizing, especially the restrooms. Haven't been to a laundromat in decades but had the need because my washing machine broke. My girlfriend goes to this place regularly so she invited me to go with her and I accepted the invitation since I had the need. The place was pretty clean and there was only about one or two people inside. Although they did not have masks on, I kept mine on the entire time I was there. The young man attendant was very nice and helpful. The dryers are old and I found that some did not really work properly since it was not HOT enough to dry... therefore I had to take out my comforters and use another one that actually worked. Overall this was a good experience, I wish it was a little updated but the place was CLEAN and the machines did what I went there for. I will be returning to this laundromat again. read more

Our washer broke down and we searched for a laundromat that was close and convenient to us in Happy Valley area. We were greeted at the door but a young man who helped with the door as our hands were full with laundry baskets. He pointed to a few washers that were unoccupied and then asked if we needed change for washer and dryer. WOW, the attentiveness was incredible. They also had the football game on TV... While there I saw the 2 attendants clean the inside of the washer with a rag. Mop the floor, etc. This is a phenomenal and well maintained laundromat, that I would highly recommend. read more

I have occasionally gone to this laundromat over the last 20-25 years, not all under the same name. I don't think anything has been replaced or upgraded since the place opened. There are at least 6 washing machines that are not operational and only 2 extra large capacity washers. The attendant, she's been there a looong time, is very nice and helpful when you first come in, but then she is very controlling and harassing. The place was very busy, and she was suggesting that everyone wait for the only 2 large capacity washers. She was completely rude and kept glaring at me. I know there aren't a lot of places to go, but if you can find another place, do so. read more

My washing machine broke and I had about eight loads of laundry that had built up while I was waiting for the part to come. I finally decided to take all eight loads to Papa's laundry and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and helpfulness of the staff. I am used to walking into a self-serve laundry place and having someone without a personality sit behind the counter and do nothing. This place, however, is completely different. The two gentlemen there were absolutely phenomenal. From the moment I walked in and was greeted through their advice on which machine to use and offer of assistance, I was completely shocked at how well I was being treated here. Don't patronize this jerk or his establishment. Took a brand new $136 down blanket in to wash and dry prior to using. When it came out of the washing machine the owner suggested starting it in the drier on high heat despite my insisting 3 times the instructions said low heat. He assured me nothing would happen on high heat when that wet for the first ten to fifteen minutes if item was turned every few minutes and then turned to low for remainder of drying. End result was scorching on satin binding ruining the blanket. Owner claimed NO responsibility for his horrible advice and offered no restitution. He is a total ***hole.
