I went here because they were open when others were not. 3 shirts. I just picked them up. One was labeled special. Double the price. When I asked I was told it is on the cleaning tag. We'll it didn't have a cleaning tag. I bet you can guess from here. I have had this shirt cleaned multiple times. It was NEVER tagged as a special shirt anyplace else. I am remarkably impressed with how kind and honest this place is. I took two jackets in & I had curious questions regarding the material etc. Because my jacket was made up with different types of material etc. I received an honest evaluation & the owner was more than happy to answer all of my questions honestly. nasty rude owner. I asked for Launder and starch they just decided to do the mor expensive option of Dry cleaning without even asking me. they had no problem charging me three times the price! I had quite a few shirts and pants to have dry cleaned and they were patient with me as I organized the clothes, considering they had just come out of a laundry hamper. If it is your first time to Janson's, ask for the 20% off for first time customers. My new cleaners! I went here on the recommendation of people on the Nextdoor app. I like how they do the cleaning on site rather than sending it somewhere else. The turnaround time was really good and the price is spot on! They have a seamstress on site once a week. There is a drive through for no contact pick up and drop off. When I went to pick up my dry cleaning I went to the drive through and the employee came right out and took my drop off ticket. She put the clothes in the backseat for me. Please check your receipts if you use this dry cleaner/laundry. I brought in six blazers. I was charged for 4 blazers, one jacket, and one 3/4 length coat. I took in a picture (showing the 6 blazers hanging, all the same length and texture, with my receipt. They would not give me credit unless I brought the blazers back in. Instead of leaving the 10 shirts and 2 slacks that I had in my hands, I chose to go elsewhere. How many other customers have they overcharged? We had been happy with their service- but not being able to trust their charges doesn't work for me. I will say that the woman who runs the front desk is outstanding! I of course paid the money without a fuss because I didn't know, but then called to inquire why so much. $12.00 for a dress? That is highway robbery. $6.00 for a pair of pants? Been to Janson twice now. Was a previous customer of Delias but decided to go to a small locally owned business. Clothing has always been done as requested and priced competitively. Always done nicely and quickly. The only complaint I have is I wish they can give you a price on drapes. I have called a few other cleaners that do drapes and I can give them the size, fabric and other pertinent information and they give me a quote over the phone. Janson wants you to bring the drapes in before they will give you a price. I can understand their view point but handling drapes can be cumbersome. I will take my drapes elsewhere. read more

What a odd total. $38.09 for 3 items! A button loop repair on 1 of 2 of my wife's dresses +1 other items. That's it! I was told that I would receive a text when the repair was complete. That never happened. Three items were dropped off November 12, 2019. I decided to drop by the cleaners November 22, 2019 because I had not received notification that my items were ready. Two items were cleaned however the desk clerk seemed completely baffled concerning the whereabouts of my third item, the button loop repair. Two visits later I was able to pick up my third item on December 11, 2019. The repair was sub standard at best but more accurately, my 10-year-old granddaughter could've done a better job. There's no excuse for substandard work at their price point. Not only would I never recommend anyone, they will never get another penny of my money. I'm so completely dissatisfied that they don't deserve a rating. read more

So I was going to drop off a couple shirts at this place last night last minute, but they locked the door and it was a few minutes prior to closing. Support the local family owned business, as I usually use Dalias Cleaners in the same lot. The side door was open and I asked if it's possible to drop off the shirts, some old blonde lady said we're closed. Then I asked that I thought the hours were until 7. She said it's 7, then I showed her my phone showing 6:58 PM, she rolled her eyes and walked away. Then a brunette young girl that was working with her said she'll take them, however with the older lady's attitude, I said that I didn't want to do business with a place like that. It's not like it would take more than a minute to take my name down and mark the shirts. Unbelievable! There are 3 other dry cleaning places within a block that I recommend using or giving it a try before coming here. No thanks. I dropped 5 items off the other day, prior to leaving I made sure to ask the lady checking me in how much my total was she said she wouldn't know until they inspect for stains etc. that's fine if there's no stains what should I expect. I was told $2.95 per shirt (dropped off 4 shirts) I was told the 1 pair of pants that I dropped off wouldn't be much more than that either. I was rather shocked when I picked up my items today to find out my total was$27 for my 5 items(zero stains) when I questioned the price the guy was rude and said well this isn't a discount cleaners and if your shirt isn't 100%cotton it would cost more. the lady that took my items should have told me I was hoping to pay over $6 per shirt. None of the shirts were even "dry clean only" I just hate ironing my husband's shirts. I specifically asked for laundry and iron. ALL 4 of his shirts have wrinkles all over and his favorite shirt now has 3 bleach dots (baby blue shirt) very noticeable. Pants are $8.95 and still wrinkled. Apparently I am better off going to "discount" cleaners, they have never ruined any of my items and always come back crisp. not to mention where I normally go they are always nice and I know exact price upon drop off. I will not be back and do not recommend using them. read more
