Waited for 10min while tables are being cleaned, we finally got seated, shortly after a party of 6 was seated after us. I ordered my lunch,it gave me a10 min wait time and I was on a time restriction bc of a class. They took SO LONG to serve my SOUP that I assume was pre- made, I couldn't eat my lunch. Visited Panini Kabob Grill before hitting up a concert at the Rose Bowl and it was awesome. Feed is fresh and delicious and the plates are HUGE. I guess this is one of a chain, but I had never heard of it. The husband and I both had a plate his was beef kabob and mine was chicken. Really tasty! It was way more food than I could eat. Ihad wanted the wrap, but the wraps come in a tortilla instead of a pita so I got the kabob plate. The Basmati rice was really good and everything was cooked perfectly. Nice location. Big. Indoor and Outdoor seating. Clean restrooms. I will warn you that the pin on Yelp is in the completely wrong place. They took over Great Maple's old location. We decided to sit outside as there was a strong smell of kitchen grease inside. The menu is quite extensive so we ordered a variety of things to share among the 4 of us. Generous portions with very appetizing plating - however I was quite disappointed in the lamb kabob as it was very very dry. I did like their chicken kabob and also falafels which were very yummy. My favorite item from the lunch was the tsaziki that came with the falafel and the beef - very refreshing with a nice scent of dill. A fairly new restaurant. Very clean. Service was very good. Friendly and prompt. Food portions were decent. I ordered the chicken pesto panini. I could see a decent amount of pesto. But, the flavor barely noticeable. And the bread...slightly soggy. I'm fairly certain the bread shouldn't be soggy on a panini. The chicken itself was ok. Not dried out. I'll give them a little more time to work out the kinks before I think about going back. Oh...and a plus is their bottled coke! No corn syrup. The chicken parm was also okay, it came with a fairly bland marinara sauce. The food overall was good to mid but the portions are large so the value factor comes into play. Oh wow I've had this place in Beverly Hills, and it is some of the consistently freshest and delicious food. Super healthy and premium ingredients. The pasta in the pasta salad wasn't cooked all the way. The hummus I'm pretty sure was white bean with no trace of chickpea or tahini. We've been obsessed this summer with Panini Kabob grill. We eat a lot of kabob and this place seems to offer the sweet spot that satisfies a large group who are each looking for slightly different things. One of us is only interested in the most meat for the price and the 1/2 lb koobideh fits that nicely. Another loves the soups and salads. One likes variety, and they have plates, wraps, panini, pasta... plenty of variety to try new things every week. The person who sat us was not friendly, at all, and tried to seat us in a place we did not want to sit. The server was semi-friendly, but had an issue speaking English. Big push to order right away--this is they way in California I guess. I do not mind accents in English, but I do expect a certain level of English proficiency so that I get information on what I ordering. She did get the order correct eventually. Ambience was nice, similar to a sidewalk cafe. Not too loud or quiet, lots of people enjoying the weather and food. The food was fantastic and very fairly price--great value. Daughter ordered the Falafel wrap, wife had the 1/2 lb. beef kebob, and I had the appetizer plater with hummus and a few other things. The Tzatziki was great--and I have eaten it in Greece--this was fresh and authentic. Humus was good and so was the Greek salad. Our first time at this location and we loved it. It's a great place to come to with families for a casual lunch or dinner. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit outside cause the weather was just perfect. The Customer service here is great, from the host to our waiter we were treated with care. The menu is simple, with a few appetizers, salads, wraps abs platters. We usually get the family meal but tonight we all ordered our own plates. I chose the salmon and enjoyed it much. My son got the beef koobideh and said it was good. The chicken kabob is always a family favorite. The plates come with rice grilled veggies and Greek salad. The portions are big and easily shareable. We also ordered a falafel appetizer plate that came with hummus, tzatziki and pita. So good. Overall a great place with good food and customer service. We ordered waters and one beer. The waters came, and before you know it plates were being passed out for the salad for dinner, and the beer was still not at the table, so I reminded the server. I also had to remind him to bring plastic silverware for the toddler that was at the table that we had previously asked for. When the food came out, everything was good just the service was not too special. It was a bit of a hassle to get anything. There was very minimal checking on table . When it was time to pay, he asked if we had a ticket to be validated when I was searching through my purse to find the ticket he rolled his eyes and did a deep sigh, as if I was inconveniencing him to have him wait. The food quality and taste does not waver or crumple, it just plain debunks the underground theory that food should taste different where it's served... not the case at all for Panini Grill! I've also eaten inside which may take longer since it gets busy and also the fact that it's cooked fresh. So taking food to go and ordering ahead makes it more of a win. We had an absolutely wonderful experience! Tim Baker, the manager, went above and beyond--he met with us several times, sent suggested menus, and offered thoughtful recommendations that worked perfectly within our budget. Our event was held on the outdoor patio with two long tables, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere (not to mention, he turned on the heat lamps!). The food was beautifully presented, served family-style, and there was more than enough for everyone--we even left with plenty of leftovers. Our guests gave us rave reviews! I believe his name was Hector. I arrived a bit early, so I had to wait a few minutes, but he clearly explained how long it would take and even offered me a glass of water while I waited. They were pretty busy, yet he still took the time to double check my entire order before I left to make sure nothing was missing. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious as always. This place is one of my favorite places to go to for chicken! Today I ordered delivery (1st time) and my order was wrong! I love the salads and always add chicken which I did today. I was charged extra for the chicken but there was no chicken in my bag. I called the restaurant and spoke to Eric...he was very nice and professional but come on people...check the orders. I placed an online order and then waited over 10 minutes in a line full of frustrated customers just to be acknowledged. The manager on duty took his sweet time handling a DoorDash order, to the point where it honestly felt intentional. Once that was done, instead of helping the rest of us who were clearly waiting, he completely ignored the line and went to the bar to chat with his buddy. To make things worse, a woman who appeared to be a server walked in and also ignored the growing line. Rather than helping customers who were waiting for their food, she spent several minutes talking to the guy at the bar and even gave him her number. Negative stars for the service. 3-4 stars for the food. Regardless of the food, the service is so bad it's just not worth it. Table service is slow (that's the kitchen's fault). Take out service is worse! Manager is incredibly surly. Most recently I ordered take-out online and arrived when the food was supposed to be ready. Manager told me to wait. 10 minutes later the food was ready (the bag with my order was visible on the counter behind the bar) but It took 10 more minutes for them to give it to me. I asked the manager 3 times! But he was busy drinking out of his coffee mug and talking with staff from behind the counter. Finally asked someone else behind the counter who looked and realized my order was, indeed, sitting there. There is no falafel worth that kind of treatment. read more

When I got home, I was literally in love at first bite. The kabob was seasoned lightly. I'm thinking that just a tad more seasoning would take it to the next level. The grilled veggies were charred to perfection and the spicy hummus (with a soft pita) was on-point! Was in the area again yesterday and HAD to have this same order again. Chatted with Mgr. Luis while I was there. Everyone was friendly and service was fast. Can't wait to go back for a dine-in experience. Panini never fails. Every Panini location has been very consistent. I love how flavorful everything is without it being too salty. Also, the portions are super generous. We are regulars and love the Panini Kabob Grill in Century City, and our hopes were for a similar stellar experience at the Pasadena branch. But we were disappointed. While at the Century City branch, without fail and over dozens of visits, the food preparation and presentation is done with the utmost care and done perfectly, at the Pasadena branch the food preparation and presentation were off: -- The tofu wrap was loosely rolled and very wet. When we lifted the wrap the interior was coming apart and it dripped liquid over us. It looked messy. In comparison, the wraps at the Century City branch look beautiful, eye catching, and are wrapped tightly. -- The lentil soup was a bit thin and certainly not as hearty and delicious as what we consistently get at the Century City branch. -- The salad was over-dressed. Too much dressing. The result was that it drowned in dressing and was not light, crispy, and fresh. -- The salad appeared to be hastily thrown together. It didn't look as celebratory and beautiful as what we get at the Century City branch. -- The grilled vegetables were few. At the century city branch the grilled vegetable portion of the plate is substantial and impressive. In the Pasadena branch it was small and somehow not plated elegantly. -- The lemon slice that came with our tea was brown and old. All in all, it appears that the Pasadena branch is not as careful and attentive in its food preparation and presentation. It was a disappointment. The food is always good at panini kabob grill. I cannot complain. This location was newly opened so they were still figuring out the service part of things but I think it was ok for the opening week. Hopefully things smooth out a bit because I love the location since I'm walking distance away. We also love the portions because they are huge. We shared the beef koobideh and double avocado salad. They left some decor from the previous restaurant (I think) but the orange lights are an eyesore. But I like the food which is the most important thing. read more

Food is delicious! Was so excited to finally have this in Pasadena! We happen to drive by and saw it so we stopped in a few days after their grand opening. They definitely need more servers because it takes a long time to put in order and get food and pay. But understandable since they just opened. Prices are decent.
