This is a place we visit often, but our recent experience was a bit disappointing. The trash bins on the ferry were overflowing, which made the area look untidy and made it difficult for us to dispose of our food waste. What was particularly concerning was that a Panera Bread employee sitting next to me, despite it being lunchtime and seeing the full trash bin, simply threw away their food without any care. Everything else was satisfactory, but because of this, I find it hard to give a high rating. I hope the staff take a bit more responsibility in the future.

    Stale cookie

The food was stale at this location. I got a cookie and it was a day old at least and rock hard. When I asked them to heat it up to see if I could make it better, they told me to microwave it by myself. The cookie was still rock hard. Also my Mac and Cheese was cold when I got it. This was not a pleasant experience in the slightest. No wonder it was not busy!

Got the balsamic greens with grains. Barely a piece of avocado ‍

I got the balsamic greens with grains. Look at the avocado they gave me. For the price, there should have been more. This is ridiculous.

Sandwich is great as always and their choc chip muffie is so delicious. The cashier today, Yahir was courteous and helpful. Love the ambiance for relaxing sunday. I have always been repeat customers.

Went to lunch with a friend today because she saw the commercials for the dipping sandwiches. I wanted to try it. She ordered the beef dip which came with the onion soup as a dipper and a side salad. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with a side soup creamy potato. She really loved her sandwich with the dip, but the salad she was not impressed with because it was a Cobb salad, which should've been Romain, but it was all that "backyard" lettuce crap. So she was quite disappointed with that. My Philly cheesesteak was delicious, I was a little hesitant because one other time I had ordered a beef type sandwich and the beef was very fatty. This meat was very tender and had great flavor and it seemed like there was also a garlic aïoli horseradish spread on the sandwich as well. Had caramelized onions and some sweet peppers. It was just an amazing flavor all around. First time I ever tried the potato soup because I usually get broccoli and cheese, the soup was very good. It was very creamy had a good flavor and I had cheese on it as well. Now, instead of serving you the food they give you those square things that light up and rattle when your food is ready, and you go to the counter and get your own stuff. It got crowded as we were there so we were glad we went a little early. The one thing I don't really appreciate is that people come in there and just camp out in tables for hours on end with their computers and their phones and take up space that others could be using especially in the booths. So overall, it was a good lunch.

I love this Panera. The food is always fresh and plentiful. I especially like coming in the morning to the fresh bread and using the unlimited coffee club. The chipotle chicken sandwich is the best sandwich and the spinach egg white avocado one. Ashlee is a pleasure all The time. The restaurant is super cute too. They have the big circle table perfect for bigger parties. It's such a vibe. Place is always clean.

Recently, I noticed the lines disappeared so we came for an early dinner. The interior is pretty cool. It's kit just tables and chairs but the design element is unique. Some seating are inside a honeycomb shaped booth, some are just in the middle of the dining area. We were seated at a table that resembles a birdcage. There's a lot of wood and warm colors, which makes the ambiance stand out over other ramen places. We ordered a ramen, omurice with katsu, some skewers and popcorn chicken. The spicy ramen was delicious, but there was no soft boiled egg as shown on the menu photo. All I saw was a broken egg white at the bottom of the bowl. 4/5. The omurice was nicely done. The egg was perfectly soft and silky with a nice curry sauce in the side. The katsu that came with it was crispy, hot and tasty. 4.5/5. The popcorn chicken was great. Perfect seasoning and crispy. 5/5. The skewers however, were the low point of our dinner. They did not appear they were cooked fresh. The meats were dry and tough. The scallops were OK but tiny. Chicken was average. The whole order did not satisfy. We also got an Amazing Lemonade and Thai iced tea. The lemonade was a very refreshing drink, and the Thai tea is just like all other places. Our server, unfortunately forgot his name, was excellent. Very personable and great at describing flavors. The friendliness extends to the rest of the staff too. It's a nice place to check out. Note their parking lot is fairly small, and shared with Paris Baguette next door. It's a 4.5, rounded up.

*** Credit cards accepted over $30 ***…read more Sinbala is one of the most iconic and long-established Taiwanese restaurants in Los Angeles and the flagship restaurant has been around for 20+ years. This is my go-to place if I ever crave actual authentic Taiwanese comfort food. Although the restaurant closed its secondary location in Rowland Heights and had a rumored change of ownership right before COVID, this flagship location is still here to stay. The original founder Linda used to work at Wan Chun Taiwanese Food before opening Sinbala. [Parking]: The parking lot can be packed during busy hours, but I had no issue finding an available spot on Sunday at 5:30 PM. [Atmosphere]: Casual dine-in setup and you are not exactly coming here to vibe but rather to enjoy good Taiwanese comfort food. [Menu]: The signature dish to order here for 1st timer is definition #1 Sausage Rice as their Taiwanese sausage is their claim to fame item. There used to be several locations across Southern California, and I'm glad the Arcadia location is still here. Every visit brings back memories. I come for the Taiwanese classics that are becoming harder to find. The popcorn chicken is still one of my favorites--crispy, fragrant, and seasoned the way Taiwanese street vendors do it. The Taiwanese meatball soup is comforting, and the Taiwanese sausage always reminds me of night markets back home. What I appreciate most is that SinBala doesn't just serve street food. It brings those familiar flavors into a warm, home-style setting. It's nostalgic without trying too hard. Before you leave, save room for dessert. Their shaved ice is a must. I always recommend the brown sugar shaved ice topped with five mochi or boba. It's refreshing, not overly sweet, and the perfect ending to a meal. Taiwanese food is often overshadowed by other regional Chinese cuisines, but places like SinBala remind me how unique it really is. Simple, comforting, and full of character. I'm grateful this little piece of Taiwan is still here.
