    The staff was super friendly!

The food at Jersey Mike's is beyond questioning the best you can get for a fast food establishment. For some reason they don't have that "chain vibe." The service at this location was impeccable and very friendly in every way, and the ambiance was pretty cool they, even displaying their Point Pleasant New, NJ, origin in 1956. I'm only rarting this review four stars because their Big Kahuna did not have any mushrooms as it's supposed to, (and very little onions, peppers and jalapeños). I mean the ratio of protein, cheese to veggies was not there. Other than that, it is a great place. Hard to find a cheese steak that tastes better than Jersey Mike's. They aren't necessarily cheap, but this a good reason for it-all of their subs are sliced or grilled fresh to order. If you never tried them, you should!

Chicken bacon ranch . Hot . Best sandwich

Best sandwich I've had. Definitely will come back and try more sandwiches they have. Had the chicken bacon ranch and it's a hot sandwich , with added banana pepper . I ate the whole thing in one setting. Price and service is great . Fresh meat sliced upon order .

Love this new location and the freshest sandwiches around MIKES WAY

Definitely hard to choose but we settled with Angry Joe and Grandma Gerry. While waiting for our sandwiches to be made, we walked around the market and picked up hot crushed peppers and peanut butter homemade cookies!! Everything tasted delicious and super fresh and service is awesome! You're taken care of asap and the wait is not long for either the deli or the checkout!! Will definitely visit again to try more sandwiches!!

Credit Cards: They're accepted. Restrooms: There's no restrooms available. Location/Parking: Located next to Denny's. Parking can be found along Huntington Dr. or you can park in the rear. Ambiance/Decor: It's basically an Italian grocery store will with a deli section. Order Of Operations: 1) Get a ticket 2) Wait for your number to be called 3) State your wants and needs, 4) Receive your wants and needs, and head to the register to pay for your stuff. 5) Exit shop and either go home or eat at their communal tables located in the back of the shop in the parking lot. Service: Service is pretty good. They're friendly and informative about their shop. Food comes out at a decent time. Sandwich Of Choice: So far I'v had the Grandpa Joe sandwich, which consists of capocollo, mortadelia, dry salame, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, sliced pepperoncini and oil dressing. Sandwich is quite quite excellent. The protein and other ingredients tastes fresh. Just a reminder that the cured meats and cheese can be a little salty. Claro's For Thought: I'll definitely come back to try more sandwiches and desserts.

And I told one to Michael, one of the…read moreproprietors of this fantastic family owned business who was working behind the counter at the new location when I sauntered in to order - what else? - the world famous pastrami grinder. Everything on it? Why yes of course. Michael rattled off the ingredients and I said yes to everything. Put it all in there. OK the lie part... Michael asked whether my sandwich was for here or to go, and I said to go. Gulp. And there goes the lie. Now, technically, I did take it out of the shop and into my car. But when you tell someone you want it to go, that means you're going to take it home and eat it. And I couldn't wait. I just couldn't. So there I was, parked in front of the shop, unwrapping this overstuffed beautiful sandwich because come on, do you really think I can drive all the way back to Pasadena smelling the warm pastrami grinder without reaching over and fumbling with it? Dear Lord, I'll get in an accident. And I have no intention of telling my claims adjuster that I rear-ended someone on the 210 because of a sandwich. Now in my own defense, I only ate part of one half, and then I went home and finished that half. The grinder is just too big to consume all at once so I wrapped up the second half and that's lunch tomorrow. For the price of one sandwich, you're actually getting two meals. You can't beat that. OK anyway, another great eating experience. They've expanded the hours and frankly Monrovia's loss is Duarte's gain. Michael said his father Andy still gets to the shop at the crack of dawn and makes the bread. The bread is nothing short of a gift from heaven. Everything in this shop says made with family love, and we get to benefit. Every time I come here I have East Coast grinder flashbacks. It's really that good. Congratulations on the new location, and I wish you many years of continued success. And sorry about the lie, but it's sort of your fault. Next time? Gene's Special.

My wife and I were looking where we could get a nice sub sandwich, boom The Colossal feeds 50-60 we needed 2 for the party. Fast forward I called in today gentleman answered, put me on hold came back and was greeted with "what do you want?" "Yes can I place an order for 2 Colossal sandwich's." Before I could say what kind I wanted I was rudely interrupted "I said what do you want? What kind of sandwich!?" I repeated what I wanted He repeated "what kind of sandwiches do you want? I said can have it with Turkey Pastrami and Turkey. I was told no repeatedly on the turkey pastrami. -First the Turkey pastrami is too expensive it's an added $50 I said that's fine and he continued to persuade me to not get it -Second because now it's too much work to put on a sandwich because you know The Colossal is pretty big. (Seems like the works too much for them) So at the end of the day I went with the big corporate sandwich shop because I got my questions answered, they weren't rude, actually tried to upsell me instead of telling me no it's "too expensive" Lesson learned: teach your employees how to talk to customers. Thanks for the time and the so so service.
