She does not like to give napkins... No seriously, to the point where I have to write a yelp review about it. There's no napkins on the counter, and when you asked for some, she gets an attitude and gives you literally one or two... even if you buy a dozen. It's funny, kinda, and the donut are fine enough, but the napkin hoarder thing is kind of annoying and I'll go to the other shop down the street on Buena Vista. I so happened to be in the parking lot as this donut place. I was trying to order a pizza from Pizza Guys but their ovens were broken. So I went in wanting a cinnamon roll. This was around 11:15am and it was fresh. They still had a lot of donuts. People were still going in and out. It was $2.50 for a big cinnamon roll. It was very soft and yummy! I will be coming back to try other ones soon. The lady that helped was short but nice. The inside is like a regular donut place. They have a good variety of donuts. read more

Hooray for a donut shop close to work! I come here for my donut hole cravings or/and if I need a nice pick me upper before a looong twelve hour shift. It definitely brightens my day when I have a bag of perfectly soft, yet slightly crispy donut holes in my hand (or tummy) at the start of my day. The maple bar is delicious as well. I friggin love this place!!!! For one, where else can you get boba drinks for $3 early in the wee morning hours in this area?? Second, their breakfast sandwiches are delicious and so cheap!! My favorite is the sausage eggs and cheese croissant. The eggs are fluffy and they use gooey white cheese. And their sausage isn't normal breakfast sausage. I think it's either Polish or Taiwanese sausage. Sooo good!! The donuts are pretty standard. Some not-so-great stuff: The service can be a little brusque and the seating is minimal and the boba pearls can be a little over cooked. Le Donuts has been in business for perhaps 20+ years in this location. I could not tell you if the owners have changed, but the quality of the product has maintained high standards. I came here for breakfast and The cashier said "sorry cash only" and then I said OK but you guys should have a sign outside to inform customers you only take cash but the cashier response was "that's not good for business" Are you kidding me? Why would you want to waste customers time by having them go to the nearest ATM (which in this case will be the gas station in front of this donut shop) and pay $2.50 processing fee to take out cash and come back to the store to get donuts? Great little donut shop next to 7-11. I stopped by yesterday because of a serious craving for donut holes. I intended to get only a couple, but it was a dozen for less than $2! (I think it was $1.29) Very fluffy tasting, with just a light glaze. I did not feel a sugar overload, even after eating 6 of them at a time. Stopped by today for a ham and cheese croissant. Great service! The woman pictured is consistently kind and always so happy when we come in for my son's Sunday morning donut! She makes holes in the small milk container and insets two stir straws for him and makes sure I have my coffee sigh cold half and half. This place is far superior to your typical corporate donut chain. Another major plus is that it is conveniently close to my church Calvary Chapel Monrovia which is using the Duarte Performance Center on Sundays! My son loves their donuts! read more

I actually think that some people that work in a place like that can sometimes be normal, but I never went to a local donut shop with someone who doesn't really treat you kind. One of the things I've missed since moving to Phoenix over 5 years ago is Le Donuts. I have yet to find a donut shop with the delicious ham&cheese croissants. While visiting Duarte, if we ever need to be up and out early (i.e., a trip to Disneyland or on the road back to Phoenix), we usually stop by Le Donuts. It's not often, maybe just a couple times a year. The owner ALWAYS recognizes and remembers my husband. Our last trip was no exception. Only wanted to add info and not really review it: They charge extra for credit and debit transactions. No signs posted anywhere. So after you pick your dozen and go to the register, they spring the fee on you. I don't mind paying credit card fees, as long as they are up front about it. When you order a dozen, which is moderately priced, you pay extra for each fancy. This is also the norm for donut shops, just thought I'd let you know. read more
