Nothing against the brand just this personal experience this is not the best location for hot subs , it's not a priority here. Cold subs always good though! Been coming to this location for a while, unfortunately not anymore. First time coming to this Jersey Mike's since I was in the area. I actually drove past the store through the parking lot and thought this location had closed down because I could not find the store. It was night time so everything was dark. Turns out their outside sign light was off or was not working. You should really get this fixed! This store is in the same plaza as Sprouts, but off to the side. There's plenty of parking, so park wherever you want. I place an online order for pick-up and the app says it's ready in about 15 minutes. I went to park a little closer to the store since I had drove all the way to Sprouts frantically trying to find this place. After 15 minutes, I head into the store hoping my to pick-up my sub for dinner. It's not ready yet... There were a few new people working there and I could see that they were training how to assemble a sub. Even though it said my order would be ready in 15 minutes, I'm going to be nice since while being new on the job, it may take a little longer because you want to make things right the first time. I got my usual #13 the Original Italian. My all time favorite made Mike's way! It was good. The meat and cheese were soft and smooth cut. I also remember my uber driver I had in Philly once had told me that Jersey Mike's Subs "is legit" for their sandwiches. My husband and I decided to check out this location on a Tuesday because we wanted to get my husband a sandwich for his flight out the next day (more and more, my husband has been travelling a lot for work and usually we get Lee's Sandwiches for him but thought maybe he would want to try something a little different). We came in around 8 pm and were greeted by 3 employees behind the counter. We ended up ordering: #55 The Big Kahuna Chicken, Giant Size, $16.95 prior to tax- A Philly cheesesteak, but with chicken. I remember having a chicken cheesesteak at Ishkabibble's in Philly years ago and thought the sandwich here at Jersey Mike's was just as good. The chicken was tender, warm and the sandwich was cheesy. Loved the flavors of grilled onions, peppers and mushrooms (I had requested to omit the jalapenos because my mom and I don't do spicy foods). My mom and also my husband also both really loved the sandwich (we all ended up eating it as a late dinner when we came home with our order). With the size of the giant, it is massive and easily feed 2-3 people and be satisfied. #56 The Big Kahuna, Giant Size, $16.95 prior to tax- This is the Philly cheesesteak, traditionally with beef. My husband had a little bit on the day we bought it and thought it was really good. He also liked eating it the next day as breakfast and well lunch too (again, the giant size is huge). #13 The Original Italian, Giant Size, $16.95 prior to tax- This sandwich comes with provolone, ham, prosciuttini (Italian pepper ham, which is similar to prosciutto and pancetta but a little different), cappacuolo, salami and pepperoni. There is quite a lot of meat in this sandwich. I liked the shredded lettuce and tomatoes in this sandwich to help round out the sandwich. I had the jalapeno omitted and also the oil and vinegar because I didn't want this sandwich to be soggy since we were not planning on eating this sandwich the day we bought it. My mom just loved this sandwich. We both ended up eating this sandwich over a few days (really made for a fantastic lunch for me for a few days). The employee who assembled this sandwich for me also cut the sandwich in quarters (as I had asked). --------------------------- (Total= $54.32 after tax) Wow what a delicious meal all of these sandwiches made for us. But of course the price of one giant size is pretty heaty. But seeing that it can easily feed the 3 of us, I think the price is justified. Service was friendly and wait time wasn't too long, especially since we were the only ones there who ordered. This is the closest jersey mikes to my work so I get lunch here often. I think I'm just gonna drive a little further to a different jersey mikes going forward. This is about this location specifically, I love jersey mikes in general. If I order ahead through the app, chances are something will be wrong, and not a little thing like they forgot an ingredient, more like they put the wrong meats or completely ignore your order. They started skimping on the meat a long time ago but the meat skimping is even worse now. Such a shame because I really love jersey mikes. Having lived a few minutes away from this Jersey Mike's for about 7 years, I finally made it in here a couple of weeks ago. It's fairly easy to navigate their system as a rookie. Menu clearly states the sandwiches come in 3 sizes: mini, regular & giant. It also lists the name and what goes in it. Seeing their specialty is the Philly, I ordered a regular. Thinly sliced & grilled steak w onions and melted cheese on a wheat roll. Hot fresh and satisfying, but after eating half, it gets a bit heavy. Also ordered a regular sub, which consists of Italian meats and your usual fixin's like lettuce & tomatoes. This was very fresh and not too salty from all those cured meats. Prices (going by memory) is about $5.50 for a mini, over 8 bucks for a regular and over $13. for a giant. Compared to Subway, it's a bit higher for something that tastes similar to Subway's Italian sandwich. But is this place actually a decent value? I have no idea since I don't eat sandwiches often. I like JM, and will come back in the future to try other items, but don't see myself having any cravings soon. You should know: * Only wheat or white bread. I think Subway has 6 choices * Meat is sliced to order * They also grill the thin steaks to order * They offer a rewards card, where you're able to score sandwiches after earning points. Good taste and filling. But I probably would go easy on the oil & vinegar next time.
