This Panera is really chill. The staff seemed very friendly, everyone said Hi to me. There was no wait to order, and we got our food relatively fast. All the tables were taken on the inside so we just sat outside, which turned out in our favor because it was nice weather and they had really comfy cushioned seats. Like, extremely comfy cushioned seats. And a nice umbrella to block the sun for all the pale haters. 5 stars for the outside cushioned seats. & the food was yummy too. read more

I work very close to this Panera so I come here very often. It's very convenient that you can place the order ahead of time and it's always ready by the time I arrive. Civilization comes to Dadeland! I've lived behind dadland mall for two years and one thing that irked me more than most was the lack of proper saturday morning breakfast locations. We have been going the Panera across from Dadeland for about 5 years. When we got there I remember I had read they were offering a free "Buy two"meal to all Veterans, being its Veterans day. When my husband mentioned it the girl at the register said they are not offering any such thing at all, I cut in and requested to see the manager. Gaby, the manager came in and also mentioned she didnt know anything about Veterans Day free food, but went to the computer and found we were correct in our information but then said she thought it was only a percentage of the cost of the meal, again I requested she look it up, and again, had to change and agree with us. I really suggest they read their own app! Soups are available at 10AM via the app but in person they aren't available until 10:30AM (claims one employee) which literally makes no logical sense. I went in to get a bowl of Turkey Chili at 10AM and was told it's not ready until 10:30AM. I told the employee that the Panera app states differently and walked out. I proceeded to order through the app and my chili was ready at 10:07AM! WOWW!!!! Was it so hard to take my order?! I thought it wasn't available until 10:30AM?! Things have gone down hill since my last experience several weeks ago. Two days in a row. Bad experience both times. Yesterday food was poorly prepared, missing items on sandwich and way over cooked. They remedied that, but it was a hassle. Today I was apparently breaking in a new cashier... she didn't have a name tag, but was filled with "attitude". No friendly hello- just "what you want" ... I started to ask about a menu item and she cut me off and said rudely "are you ready to order or not" while apparently chewing gum. I repeated my question about the sandwich and she told me they weren't subway (I made the mistake of referring to it as a sub). She shoved a picture menu at me and said "there's the sandwiches". I just chose the Italian with iced tea, giving up on my question because now a line was backing up. I gave her my Panera number to enter and she insisted I put my phone number in. I apparently put the wrong one in and she started to protest until I clarified that I always just give them the number. She gave me my cup for iced tea. Another employee stepped over and made a very passive aggressive big deal of telling the first employee that she'd just have to put in the "whole number" and he started to angrily tell me to have my account info next time. I then accepted the free iced tea I was offered with my points. The second employee stepped in again and asked the first one if she knew how to do that, saying "you haven't gone that before". But when I said tea she stated: soda, coffee, or hot tea. I repeated iced tea. She put in hot tea and left the charge on. I pointed out to her that the displayed item indicated hot tea and I was being charged. She argued that I asked for hot tea, at which point I held up the cup for iced tea that she gave me a few minutes before. Then she switched it to coffee... but the price went off. I pointed out that it said coffee, thinking it might matter to her. She really turned up the attitude at that point and started asking for my order all over again... I asked if we were starting from scratch now, but I got no answer as we went through each item again. As I went to sit and wait for my order, both of these employees glared at me. All in all a very adversarial, unfriendly, unpleasant ordering interaction. The food was fine today, but as usual here it was impossible to find a clean table. I want to relax during lunch, and starting out with belligerent restaurant employees certainly isn't conducive to that. I think this is my last visit here which is a shame because it's incredibly convenient. read more

Food is great, fresh and on time. What i didn't like about this cafe is that the General Manager (African American lady/black lady) was very unprofessional treating the staff. There is always a place and time to address issues with the staff, she was screaming and down grading them. Although I eat at Panera bread all the time, I've found this one to be the most depressing, disorganized, dirty locations. From the filthy outdoor furniture to the broken Displays in the back of the kitchen, this place makes me want to buy it, rip everything out, fire everyone and restart. These guys are great, we get catering from them 2 times a month and they never disappoint. The food is always fresh, they supply us with all the utensils, and always come on time. This review is long over due since we have been catering with them for some time - but this morning we had a big event being held here at my office and we accidentally put the wrong date for tomorrow, with 40 hungry guest and lunch an hour away I called and spoke to the manager who instructed me what to do on the digital side of modify the order and told me she can have it ready within the next two hours. I felt terrible to have them do this considering it is lunch time and they're very busy at this time. They called me a little over the hour that it was ready. The manager her self helped me carry the all the bags to my car. Great customer service, great return time. We will continue to cater with them, reasonable pricing and they always add new items to the menu. read more

I have been a Panera customer for many years. I love their variety but most of all LOVE the RAPID PICK UP. You go online order your food, pay for it and its ready for pickup when you get there. However the last few times I've used that service it has not been so pleasant. Maybe I should check my order in more detail next time however their job is to make sure that it food is prepared the way they advertise it. 1st time--- they forgot my dressing in my Chicken Cobb Avocado Salad 2nd time---wrong soup 3rd time----no tomatoes in salad in my Chicken Cobb Avocado Salad 4th time----the apple was not washed, I could tell because it had dirt in the stem hole. Today---no chicken & no avocado in my Chicken Cobb Avocado Salad I know that lunch time is busy however these errors should not be made and to top things off when you catch the mistake and ask them to correct the order they give you the worst attitude. So I come in here because it's great customer service and in-n-out (at least from the last time I had gone) ... Wrong! This time around was disappointing. I had ordered a bagel that was in my rewards which turned out to be FREE but when I ask for a cream cheese is priced almost as a bagel. So I turned it down thinking it could be a mistake on their end... as I approached the pick-up window I asked this young lady that had a Catering Coordinator name tag and I asked her if she knew the price of a cream cheese please... her response was "oh I don't know you have to go over there to the register and find out" so I politely asked if she could please find out for me.. she started asking everyone around until a tall dark lady finally gave her an answer.. so she tells me the price as I already overheard while the lady yelled it at her...I was still shocked they would charge that much for a very small quantity of cream cheese.. and her reply to that was " I don't make the prices here.. I just sell the product" and chuckled while looking at her peers around her. I thought that was rude and made me feel uncomfortable as a customer. For a catering coordinator she Definitely lacks customer service skills. I will NOT be recommending this venue to anyone. read more

Not the greatest place, but not the worst. You order at one counter and collect your food at another. The food is ok but by no means worth the price for the amount you get. The service is spotty (meaning, they make mistakes like give you someone else's food or get your order wrong), but they are very friendly and are quick to rectify their mistakes. I've had the half sandwich, soup and the half sandwich, small salad. The soups I've had have always been very good but on the very small side (just a tiny cup of soup). Sandwiches have been ok, but also a very small portion. You also get a side of chips. This for about $10 with a drink. You can eat in or take your food to go. (I usually take to go, but I've eaten in a few times--a little crowded). The lines to order, especially during the lunch rush, are somewhat long but they move fast. I like that they take credit cards regardless of the amount because I never have cash. They also have some yummy pastries even though I'm not really into that, and a good variety of breads you can take home. This is not my first choice in the Sunset Place area; the quality of the food and prices are not enough to draw me back on a regular basis especially in a location that has so many other and better options. This place has tricky parking. Either you pay for parking or you have to parallel park if it's available. I chose to park in the brandsmart parking across the street and crossed my fingers that I wouldn't get towed lol. Upon entering I was greeted by a man who took my order (the receipt saids Cristina was the cashier but seems he used her register). He kept interrupting me mid order while he talked with a different Panera Bread Associate (unrelated to my order). He took my order and did not ask if I wanted to enter my ph number. When I asked him, he said he had to start all over (idk why). So he did start over and this time added my phone number for the rewards. He didn't ask bread, chips, or apple (so I assumed it do not apply to my order. I ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad (no croutons, add bacon, add avocado, add egg). I received a chicken Caesar (with the additional items I requested but it had croutons). Normally that would not be an issue and I would just dig the croutons out. However my salad was full of croutons crumbs all over (seemed like it was the end of the bag and they dumped everything in there). So I asked the Panera Bread associate that I needed no croutons. She asked for a new salad. They gave me romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, egg, avocado, bacon and a baguette. I explained to her that a Caesar salad comes with Parmesan, and I asked for extra dressing. They gave me a side of Caesar and parm. However upon looking at my salad, I realized it didn't have chicken. So again I had to wait to get chicken on my salad. Long story short, I was disappointed with the amount of times it took to get my order correct. In the end I had a piece of baguette which I would have preferred chips to take home to my kids (so the bread went straight in the garbage). Also I had rewards I could've used but the associate did not mention it :'( disappointed in the service. The soda machine gives out Diet Pepsi with extra fiz. The ingredients however were awesome! My salad was bomb!!! The avocado was perfect! I really enjoyed the food. read more

This is the best Panera I've been to. I love just about everything on their menu, so this review isn't so much about the food as the service. I ordered the Tomato Basil Mozzerella panini from there, but when I got home i realized there were 2 sundried tomatoes and a 1 inch square of cheese on the whole sandwich. Because this location is literally right across the street from my apartment, I walked back to the restaurant and let them know what happened. Not only did they give me a new (and much improved) sandwich, but they also gave me a full refund AND let me keep the other sandwich. Outstanding! That's how customer service should be. read more

Came here again and was disappointed again. I ordered a tomato mozzarella flatbread and a bbq chicken flatbread for lunch. It took a long time to get my order, and when I finally left the store and opened the bag, it was wrong! I went back into the store to get it corrected. There is this statement on the receipt that states that if they get your order wrong, they'll correct it and give you a treat. They gave me nothing. I have a love-hate type of relationship with Panera. Its complicated. I crave. I eat. I feel slightly disappointed. Repeat in a few days. I have tried many lunch menu items and they all seem to be OK, I never really find anything great on their menu. Maybe im expecting too much? Overall it's fast and does the job when I need a quick lunch. I just never seem to be overly excited when going. Breakfast is better and I usually get the cheese pastry and bagel + cream cheese. Bagels are fresh and cream cheese is panera branded. They have a large assortment of cream cheeses. Panera's reward card is awesome. I usually get a free pastry or coffee every 3-4 visits. read more

Terrible! I went to order a blt and the lady at the front was extremely rude with me. This the first time I have ever written a review on anywhere cus I always thought it was not worth it. But this has to be heard. After I left, I left my parking ticket. So I went back right before closing. the manger told me she would look for it. And then decided to ignore me. I ask for it again and she shut the door in my face without saying anything. She evidently wanted to go home and not help. I could not believe it. They were they're cleaning for a good hour and didn't allow me to check for my parking ticket. The parking garage did not accept credit card for lost cards so I had to call my friend to go to the bank and get me cash so I can leave! I was there for about an hour. Cannot believe this huge parking lot has no machines working and the machine in the front does not accept credit card for lost cards. Very upsetting. read more

By far the best cappuccino in South Florida. Amazing soups, salad, sandwhiches...everything is so yummy. My husband and I find ourselves at Panera usually once a week...atleast. The staff is always so nice, especially the management! They have FREE wi-fi, great seating indoors and outdoors. It's an all around great place to eat. I've always loved Panera Bread. I came here Friday April 3rd and ordered the frontera chicken and broccoli cheddar soup. Later that day I found myself with food poisoning and throwing up my life away. Panera was the only thing I had eaten that day. It's 4 days later and I still can barely keep anything down. This location is a hit or miss. Honestly more than half of the time I come here my order is wrong, and one of the managers acts like I should not have said anything about it, and has sometimes even confronted me about it. She always acts like the free treat if order is wrong is a new policy, acting confused when I ask for my pastry. I have to explain to her and show her the bottom of the receipt and once she asked me "what do you want me to do about it?". Other times my order is spot on and made fast and customer service is good. I wish corporate would give this stores staff some attention so the community can enjoy this location. read more

This is a great place for lunch . The food is good and fresh. I only have one concern that alot of WIFI freeloaders wont agree on . The regular paying customers grab their trays and have to walk around looking for a place to sit while all and i mean all the tables are occupied by people with their computers not consuming anything.
