Diy gyro place? yes please. i created my own pita bread and fell in loveee with this place, it's my first time here but ill def be coming back. the hummus tasted homemade in all the right ways, they don't charge extra for toppings (not even extra feta ) they have gyro meat, grilled chicken, spicy chicken, etc. you can make it a combo with a few different things as well. the person taking our order ended up bringing our food out to us which was very sweet :) inside it's a pretty stop and go kind of atmosphere, we ate outside since the weather was nice and i throughly enjoyed every thing i ordered. they also have a special daily from 3-5 for the combo that i ordered for just $10. we ended up getting two combos outside of the special hours and paid about $35 read more

I wanted to try this place since I was in the area and reviews seemed good. Stopped by and proceeded to place my order on a kiosk. It's self explanatory for the most, you pick your meal, condiments, drink and then pay. A variety of ingredients and sauces. Apple Pay worked fine. I noticed they have a 3pm-5pm deal where you can get a gyro, fries and a drink for $10. I noticed this after I ordered and paid an extra $5.99, which wasn't bad. Flavor wise, on the chicken gryo, not really packing a lot of flavor. It be blank for my liking, but the tzatziki and condiments inside helped the grilled chicken inside. Fries were fresh and so was the falafel. The side of hummus the falafel came with wasn't that great to be honest, I think a different sauce would give it falafel a better experience for taste. I've also tried tzatziki in other places and it taste better, this tzatziki tasted a little watered down. Overall, not bad for the price and serving size. It's a big enough portion for 1, and you get a ton of fries. I'll be back possibly to try the lamb and see how that competes with the chicken. I am obsessed with Greek food and have had this place bookmarked for a while now. I just gotta say, I wish I had stopped in sooner!!! I got the chicken pita, with a Greek salad on the side. It was all delicious! Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The chicken was of good quality and the Tzatziki and Greek dressing were both really tasty. The service was also excellent. The food at Gyro Ville was amazing. It was the first time that I ever had Greek food and most definitely not my last. I think I can say that I am officially hooked on falafels. The service there was great, I do have to admit that I was not a big fan of self ordering simply because it was my first time at a new restaurant, but I can see how this is convenient for the employees. Walking in at 6:30pm on a Saturday night and it was completely empty. I guess this is more of a lunch place because I've been here before and it was a nice crowd. Either way I was greeted upon arrival and instead of asking me if I need any help or anything the employee just sits down. My wife ordered a traditional pita and, when she received her order, the Ziki sauce was fermented and rancid. We were told that they could not make something new and could only replace with the same item, minus the sauce. We were informed that we could not pay the difference to order something else and they would not refund the money for the uneaten item. Getting the managed Angelina on the phone was an equally frustrating experience - she does not support her employees who kindly tried to resolve with us only to be told by her that they cannot resolve this. What self respecting restaurant and manager treats their customers like this? Very bad business, lack of common sense and business acumen on Angelina/managers part. You will lose many customers with your practices and we feel very sorry for your employees who want to do the right thing but are hindered by your poor customer service. We are very close with the health inspectors in Dade County and you should expect to have this reported accordingly. Not really the best. I've had better Gyros What bothered me is that I used the Kiosk for a SPECIFIC REASON. I made sure to choose ingredients that had NO DAIRY. When I got my bowl, I could taste Parmesan cheese in there. I kept picking at my bowl because the taste disgusted me & made my stomach turn. I asked the lady if that's just the consistency of the couscous. She said no. That it doesn't have cheese in it. So when I had my Gyro (which had the same exact ingredients), it taste entirely different. Truth be told, I didn't feel like being those people to ask for a remake. The other day there was a line outside the store before they opened. They now have a kiosk that is confusing to use with a guy that waits for you to order that seems incredibly disinterested in helping you. I gave it 2 stars because the gyro was somewhat decent. The place used to be really inviting with the person at the register being really helpful. Not anymore. They didn't even let us use the bathroom and to me it appeared that they were getting ready to close since the wet floor signs blocked the way to the bathrooms and they probably didn't want to clean it. Long story short: they've recently cut their portions in half and still charge the same price. Not worth it. I've been eating here for at least 2 years since I moved to the area, and in the last few months the value has dropped so much that I won't eat here again. Most recently I placed an order online because no one answered the phone. The website has disabled the option to leave comments or specific notes/requests, and so instead of getting an extra serving of tzatziki on the side, they charged $9 for a full 16 oz container of tzatziki. I ordered our usual: traditional Gyro and a build-your-own salad and side of falafel. The first thing noticed (aside from the huge container of tzatziki) was that my wrap was half the size it used to be. A few months ago it was a normal pita wrap, stuffed with ingredients. This time it was only about 4 inches long and looked more like a taco or a kids' menu item (seriously). I asked about it and they confirmed that this is the standard size now. So they still charge the same $14 but now it's roughly half the size. The same case for the salad: it's $16.50 and comes in the same container which they used to fill up, but now they only fill it half-way. It's pitiful and sad because the food is honestly still okay, although they did manage to burn the falafel pretty badly. It's really NOT authentic Greek but it's fine enough...there's just no way it's worth what they're charging anymore. A shame to see them cut the value in half and hope no one would notice. (I also realized too late that we should have taken pictures, but you can imagine how easy it was to finish the meals quickly now that they're kid-sized!) read more

I like to go to Gyroville when I'm looking for some quick take-out in the area, but want to mix it up from the usual places. I only ever get chicken gyros. Rather than being shaved like typical gyro meat, they chop it. The texture is quite different and I wish they had a shaved chicken option. The service is pretty good and they'll let you try the different sauces (tzatziki, paprika feta tzatziki, etc.) before choosing one to put on your gyro.
