After the explanation we chose a sandwich and bowl with falafel and gyro meat. After waiting for the falafels, which were made fresh, the worker handed them to us and explained how the topping station worked. We also noticed that we didn't have the gyro meat and before we could ask she explained that because all the toppings were vegetarian she wasn't going to put the gyro meat until after we finished with our tops to reduce contamination. We chose our toppings, she put the meat, and we sat down to eat. The falafels were crisp, packed with flavor, and weren't greasy. The gyro meat was also packed with flavor and was juicy throughout every bite. The fries were crisp and the seasoning was a bit overpowering for me, but was perfect for my lunch buddy. Overall, the falafel and gyro meat was very delicious and you can customize your sandwich/bowl however you'd like to find your perfect mix. If you're vegetarian you can trust that the workers care that nothing is cross contaminated. I'll definitely come back again.

The menu isn't too big but has a good variety of appetizers, smaller meals like wraps, and larger plates fit for sharing. We started with the foul moudamas, a surprisingly savory garlicky savory fava bean dip topped with a nice dollop of tehini. We also got the fattush salad which was nicely seasoned but still light and refreshing with a nice crunch from the pita chips. To share, we ordered the mixed kebab platter but got served the mixed shawarma platter, which had nicely seasoned beef and chicken although a good portion of it was a bit dry. The best part of the meal was the lamb shank molokhiya - a savory herby rich stew with a tender fall of the bone lamb shank served with pita and rice, the flavor of the molokhiya leaves is difficult to describe but it's a nice mix of herbal and earthy. The koshery, a common Egyptian dish of rice macaroni lentils in a spiced savory tomato sauce with fried onions for crisp, was delicious a filling. Overall, the flavors of each of the dishes were unique and well balanced, and I'd definitely come back to try more Egyptian dishes!

I will say that I was a little confused when I arrived because I wasn't expecting it to be a food truck. turns out they used to have another brick-and-mortar location, but the building got bought and they had to vacate head, so they're currently one of the food trucks in a little food truck park. The food truck area has good vibes, though very limited parking! (I walked from down the street a block.) The staff of Nude Pita are SO nice. The owner actually took my order that day, and we chatted while my food was being made since there was nobody else in line at the time. She told me her story and her dreams and her love for sharing her food with people... I told her I can't wait to tell everybody about it because it was such a wonderful experience, and then when I actually went to sit down and eat my food, I was blown away all over again. Every bite was divinely delicious! I absolutely cannot wait to try more from their menu.

I also tried the vegan truffle buffalo n ranch, and the tanginess from the buffalo with that truffle twist was sooo good. For the platter, I went with rice tossed in extra virgin olive oil and fresh spinach, paired with the lamb/beef -- which was incredibly tender and full of flavor. The fresh pita with tzatziki on the side just brought everything together perfectly. But honestly, the side salad stole the show for me. With cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and a few olives tossed in a delicious dressing, everything complemented each other so well. I also had the zucchini falafel with hummus -- crispy and crunchy on the outside, while the inside stayed moist and firm. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and topped with olive oil... chef's kiss To top it off, I tried both the double smashburger and the vegan smashburger. Both were so good, but the vegan one with mushrooms and truffle sauce really stood out. The chef and staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the food came out hot and fresh every time. Highly recommend if you're looking for something keto-friendly, vegan-friendly, and full of flavor. And don't leave without trying the lemonade Baklava and the vegan chocolate chip cookies. The matcha lavender was also creamy and earthy and paired well with the cookie It's only outdoor seating so come dressed appropriately if you plan on dining at the location but plenty of seats and umbrellas and very chic and cute ambiance
