Sub par, not a lot of flavor, and it was really hard in general to get an even bite of everything at once due to all the veggies being chopped so finely. I know this is a sub shop but I had originally came here to try their colada after my boss raved about it and told me it's the best he's ever had. I popped in ordered my colada and of course I also had to try a garlic steak it is the home of the garlic steak after all. The garlic steak was so good, perfect meat to bread ratio and so flavorful but the star of the show was definitely the colada. So creamy almost chocolatey!? Just grabbed take out from Tamiami Subs, which now opens until 7:00. I'm upping my stars to five, because the taste of the subs are great, curly fries fresh and service always fast. The staff that work there are always nice and our orders are always accurate. It's great for take out or eating in, because the place is always clean and organized. It's also right by my house making it a plus, and there's lots of new construction going on nearby, so hopefully the area will get even busier. Great place to pick up some fresh subs. My best friend and I told them that we were going to wait for a friend before ordering and they immediately offered us drinks while we waited and paper menus to consider our selections. Once we were ready to order, the process was quick and efficient. I ordered the chicken bacon ranch with crispy chicken and an order of curly fries with cheese on the side. My best friend ordered the same sub and my cousin ordered their signature sub, garlic steak. The owner personally took our orders and wrote our names correctly on the wrappers so there was no confusion as to which belonged to whom. I definitely appreciated that she spelled my name correctly since most often use a C where the K should be so the owner's attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Now to the best part: the food. My crispy chicken bacon ranch was delicious. I am not a big chicken fan but ordered this on the advice of my best friend and it did not disappoint. It had a little kick but not too much, the bacon was super crispy, and all of the flavors came together beautifully. The fries were seasoned well and along with the cheese dip was very tasty. I managed to nab a bite of my cousin's garlic steak sub before she gobbled it all down and it was party in your mouth kind of good. I got a small sub and it was more than enough for me as I was just the right kind of full when I left but they also over 2 larger sizes for those with heftier appetites. The location is somewhat inconvenient for me since I don't live or work too close to the area but based on my first experience, I have no doubt that I will be back and probably soon. Keep in mind that they close at 5 and do not open at all on Sundays but if you are in the area during business hours, this is definitely a stop you won't regret. read more

The place is kept clean, the staff is always pleasant, & they are pretty quick with orders. The menu has your typical sub shop offerings, the prices are fair, & and they have a hassle free reward program for frequent customers that uses stamp cards. The only real downside I have to say is the amount of seating available. When this place gets busy it can be tough to find an empty spot to sit down. I love going to Tamiami subs. I used to go there at least once a week. It is a great alternate to subway and he subs are made fresh right in front of you. The staff is very nice and the food is always good. The restaurant is small. There are 3 booths a about 5 chairs inside. Most people come in and pick up their food. It is always busy. There specialty is the garlic steak wrap so what better to order than that. The half size with seasoned fries is enough for one person depending on how hungry you are. They also have wraps and salads. I have tried the chicken and steak philly and they are good also but I'll stick with the garlic steak. Make sure you don't go Sunday's as they are closed. If you're in a rush you can also call ahead of time so that your order will be ready when you get there. Pricing is very reasonable. I always like to support local restaurants and I'll keep coming back to Tamiami subs. read more

The negative I found was that it's small and we waited to sit but given that it actually has seating inside it's a plus for a sub shop! For starters you must try their curly fries with cheese sauce! They do offer a variety of salads and wraps if you want to lessen the calories but there were at least 3 other items like the bacon chicken ranch sub that I am going to try. The place is great very friendly the sub felt fresh. The bread was soft the ingredients well proportioned and most important for me no taste of grease or felt too heavy. Overall I don't love the idea of eating subs frequently cause let's be honest I would have to run a marathon to burn the calories but if you want to indulge and have a fantastic Sub this def the spot!
