Was with a friend that used to eat here when he was in high school and he always bragged about their signature sub, the honey mustard chicken! To be honest, it didn't sound appealing to me. We were in the vicinity and I caved in and decided to try it. The place is nice inside with cool signs and retro decorations like old Coca Cola straw holders. The ordering is flawless and smart. The bag they place the subs in has all the subs and toppings listed on the outside and when you give the order everything is checked off. Pretty cool and efficient! The workers were very nice and friendly. Now the honey mustard chicken sub! I was dead wrong! It was stellar! There was a group guys dining inside talking, laughing...having a great time! I'm not a cheesesteak person and had a hard time deciding which sub to get. I settled for a large cheese steak and onions. They ask you what you want on the sub and my sub was ready within minutes! My only complaint is I did not receive a receipt. I had the pastrami foot long with extra meat. $21 is in my opinion too much money to pay for a sub and drink. The Pastrami was shredded. I asked for onions mushrooms and Swiss cheese. I se the onions but only saw one piece of mushroom. The food is made infront of you so that you know is fresh and the temperature is just accurate. There are fountain drinks, can drinks, and chips. Such a remote sub location is worth the visit. Main reason for not getting a 5 is it needs a little upkeep on the tables and the garbage. Understandable that the place moves, but certain things require constant upkeep.
