Called your store to multiple times so I can go and pick up the correct order and no one answered the phone for the 45 minutes that I called. Then the store closed and I was left without the food. I do not know what took me so long to try Subby's but wow, I am so happy I did. There are certain times when an oversized, stuffed sub hits the spot, and last week when a craving for an Italian sub hit, I knew just want I wanted to order. I placed my order via UberEats and shortly after the Italian sandwich of my dreams arrived. This sub had a lot of meat, it also had the perfect ratio of toppings, which I did select. I looove good hot and sweet peppers and they were delish. This sub was also huge. Granted, I did get the large but for this party of 1 it was enough to keep leftovers and enjoy the second half later. I would definitely love to try some of their hot subs, I'm just a sucker for a good Italian sub and this one was A++! Been wanting to try Subbys for a while now and it did not disappoint. We went on a Sunday in the afternoon and there were quite a few people there ordering food. They have limited indoor and outdoor seating options. We waited about 10 mins for the subs to be made. I ordered the chopped cheese and it was so good. I had seen videos about it online and I'm glad it lived up to the hype. I opted for no ketchup and got it with mayo, onions, and cheese. I might ask for a bit more onions next time because the amount it came with kind of got lost with the meat and bread. It comes in only one size which was more than enough for me. My boyfriend and I passed by Subby's to try after catching a movie. What attracted us here was the fact that they also serve a Chopped Cheese, a sandwich hard to find in any sub shops in Miami. We ordered a chopped cheese to share and two subs to go for later, Italian and Turkey and Cheese. ALL the subs were amazing. The chopped cheese was freshly made, meat was seasoned perfectly, yummy amounts of cheese. The service was also great, everyone was so sweet and helpful. First time at Subby's. I really wanted to like this place. It's close by and popped on my IG feed just as I was starting to feel hungry. I ordered the "World Famous" cheesesteak w/provolone on a white sub, added bell peppers. First of all, let me say, I'm a born and bred New Yorker that has spent a lot of time in Philly so I know what a good cheesesteak should taste like. THIS AINT IT!! There's nothing worse than being catfished by food! This cheesesteak sub was completely flavorless. The only thing you could taste was the grease from the grill. Yuck. Not a seasoning to be found. No salt and pepper. Nothing. Secondly, this has to be the DRIEST cheesesteak I ever had in my entire life! The cheese was almost nonexistent. My sub looked NOTHING like what they show on their Instagram. I am so utterly disappointed I wasted my money when I could have had a nice shawarma platter from Delights of Beirut down the street for the same amount of money I spent here. I begrudgingly finished this poor excuse of a cheesesteak out of sheer hunger but I wished I could have gotten my money back. I wasn't going to write a review but I'm so annoyed I just had to. I don't normally give reviews but I feel This one is warranted! I have worked in retail and hospitality and know the biggest nightmare is a customer walking in right at closing time... Well yesterday I was THAT guy! I was craving a sub and stopped right at 8:57pm and they close at 9:00 I felt terrible and was expecting what I deserved but instead I was greeted so nicely by the young lady working the counter who took my order with all smiles, I looked over at the cook and he was more then happy to make my sub with zero hesitation push back or attitude I was very very impressed. I must say ownership has done a phenomenal job with their staff and I wanted to let them know that I was blown away by the great service and treatment even though it was literally 3 min to closing and they just be tired from a long day but they weren't and tha spoke volumes to me! I was excited to try this sandwich. Although not overly greasy, the American cheese completely overpowered the flavor. The service here was absolutely phenomenal and they were very attentive to the customer's needs. From a feel and atmosphere perspective you get the same you would any burger spot. Service here is definitely great! Staff were efficient and super attentive which I really appreciated. Definitely started my experience off on the right foot. Place is clean as well. But my absolute favorite part about being here was the fact that they play all the 90s-2000s hits! The decor and music combo definitely helped in adding that nostalgic (or as the new aged kids say "Y2K") feel. I ordered the honey mustard sub and the bread was super soft which I loved and overall the sub was good. I personally didn't feel like my sub was too "bready" as I see a lot of people have notated. I also like that they offered a wheat alternative. However I will say the sub wasn't the absolute best I've had. I wouldn't go as far as to call in mediocre because it was good and definitely did the job. However I will say my sub wasn't all that impressionable. The other people of my party who also got subs described them similarly. Would definitely return to give it another try! Maybe opt for a different sub to see if it's just a matter of menu choices?
