Cheese Steak
Jesus S.

In the neighborhood looking for a new sub spot. Came here on the suggestion of a friend. The place is clean, spacious and nicely decorated. I ordered the cheesesteak with fries and a drink. The food tasted good. Obviously it's fresh food (they make it in front of you). I'm glad I found this spot. Will definitely be back.

This was my second time coming to Outrageous Subs and I loved everything about it! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was friendly and the overall experience was just as great as the first time! ‍

Italian Cold Cut Sub
Katherine D.

Absolutely delicious! Cute, small sub shop with a variety of options on their menu. We ordered the Italian Sub Sr. Plenty of food (and I took the second half of my sandwich home!). It's worth making it a meal because it adds in a fountain drink and your choice of chips. Can't wait to come back and try one of their hot subs! Plenty of indoor seating and plenty of parking.

Honey Mustard Chicken Sub
Sara O.

Very disappointed with this sub. First I had ordered a wrap but received a sub and the amount of chicken in it was laughable. This was not a honey mustard chicken sub, more like a toppings sub. Definitely not worth the price. Won't be ordering again.

First time here. Since this is our new neighborhood, we want to try everything! I came here for lunch with high hopes. This place did not live up to its name. There was nothing Outrageous about my steak sub. It was expecting with a name like that and a hot grill, I thought I would get something meltly, cheesy, juicy and delicious. What I got was a dry and mostly tasteless sub.

We also ordered the Versailles Combo Appetizer which includes a beef empanada, a chicken empanada and a ham and cheese empanada. You also get the yucca fries with the cilantro sauce. And finally you get some croquettes. Not a huge fan of the croquettes here but they are OK. As previously mentioned, we have been here several time and on this trip, the hostess said if you want to be in the room of mirrors. What? I said OK and they took us to the back, where it is a, well... room of mirrors. The way she said it made me think, should I be concerned. But it was a big open area. The whole place is very nice. We love the large parking area because this place is packed most of the time. We actually came back and ordered another Cubano for the flight home. You should have seen the people looking at us while we ate our Cubano and they enjoyed their pretzel braids. :)

Unfortunately, my last few visits haven't been the same, which is disappointing because this was a place I genuinely enjoyed coming back to. I've noticed a change in the meat quality. It used to be thin and tender, but lately, it's been noticeably chewier. I also always request my kimchi hot pot without tofu, tofu skin or sausage, but I still end up getting them in my dish. This has happened so many times that I've gotten used to putting them aside, but I do wish special requests were followed more consistently. During my most recent visit, my friend and I also felt a little rushed. The restaurant was practically empty, yet the employee kept asking if we were finished while we were still eating and having a conversation. He would hover around our table, which made the experience feel a little awkward. I think it's important to recognize when customers are still enjoying their meal and conversation rather than repeatedly asking if they're done. I've also noticed changes to the menu that I personally don't love. Overall, the food still comes out quickly, the prices are reasonable, and the owners have always seemed very nice. It's just disappointing to see a longtime favorite change in ways that affect the overall experience. I really hope things improve because I'd love to enjoy this place the way I used to.

They've added some more popular drinks like the Basic B**ch which is like a lychee martini, and the Upper East Side which were both very delicious. I had two of each! For the HH snacks, we got the shrimp and the pork dumplings and we all agreed the Shrimp Dumpling was the favorite. It's sauce was soy-based, while the pork had kind of a curry base. We really went for a Birthday reservation. So after happy hour at the bar we moved over to our table. And order more drinks and more good eats! I suggested the Edemame Hummus (again) [still amazing!]. But we also got the Octopus and Imperial Eggrolls. Side note - our server Natalia was really kind to our very active table of two checks and 8 people. She went over the menu, and she was so convincing we ordered everything that she talked about. She even asked if I wanted a drink and I didn't at first, but then she went on to talk about the Upper East Side, and I was sold. For the main entrees, we shared the Branzino which is market price, the Millionaire Rice, and the Bo Luc Lac (filet mignon). All were amazing. I'd ordered it all again. Will definitely be back.

As someone who follows a plant-based lifestyle, it's not always easy finding Latin restaurants that don't use animal products in their beans, so I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they don't. And when I tell you these are the BEST restaurant beans I've ever had, I mean it. WOW. We actually discovered this place by accident two weeks ago when the restaurant we originally planned to visit was closed on a Monday. We needed something nearby, so I jumped on Yelp, saw the great reviews, and decided to give it a try. I wasn't expecting much, but I was completely impressed. Everything we've tried has been simple, fresh, and delicious. The Ensalada Turca is my favorite and an absolute must-try. The jugo de mora is incredibly refreshing, and the sopa de frijoles with rice and maduros hit the spot so much that I ordered it both visits. The staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive, always making sure you have everything you need. The restaurant itself is small and unassuming, decorated with beautiful cultural touches. The music playing in the background instantly took me back to my childhood, reminding me of the songs my mom and grandma used to play on the radio at home. Overall, this is a hidden gem that's absolutely worth seeking out. We've already been back twice, and we'll definitely be returning again.

Rating: 5.0 Been a…read morehuge fan of the Iron Chef show since I was a kid and my favorite has aways been the Japanese Chef Masaharu Morimoto! And since experiencing his Disney Springs restaurant Morimoto Asia, I had been looking forward for him to come to Miami. This was a couple of years back during the cooler season in Miami. RESTAURANT: I just know that this location is going to be beautiful. Chef Morimoto restaurants are worldwide and so I was not disappointed to see how beautiful this restaurant was and how perfectly complemented the vibe of the Wynwood scene. The restaurant doors open to the street, which was perfect during our winter visit. Inside is an open floor plan with a variety of seating options from the izakaya style table, banquet dining against the wall, to the huge bar. There are even covered seating outside that reminded me of New York. Decor is both minimal but with burst of colors with his signature wall art and backlit panels against the wall. And ofcourse, it won't be an authentic Japanese restaurant without the a display of hyper-realistic food models which can be found as soon as you enter the restaurant to entice your taste buds. Everything just looked sleaked and clean and love the pop of green from the huge fig trees. SERVICE: Service was amazing. From the moment we entered, we were greeted and seated right away for our reservation. Our server answered all of our questions and suggested some fruity cocktails. And lo and behold, owner Chef Morimoto himself presented us with our food and torched it right infront of us! He was so polite and humble and wonderful. We watched him moved from one side of the restaurant to the other with the endurance of a guy in his 20s and he's like 60 something! He did not stop. It was such a treat to have him in our table and how he indulged us when we chanted "Iron Chef! Iron Chef!". It was an amazing experience. FOOD: The menu have the right amount of options, from finger food to ramen, sushi and not to mention the drinks. For starters, pork belly and soft shell crab bao and bbq ribs. Deliciousness! The buns warm and pillowy. The pork, so tender. But that soft shell crab...that made me want to slap someone it was so good. Flavorful, no fishiness whatsoever, crunch on the outside and just happiness on the inside. I will eat a million of these. Then my friend ordered some Yakitori fresh from the grill: chicken, pork belly, shrimp, wagyu. They were simple, fresh and so fingerlicking good. Then the ramen; tonkotsu and gyukotsu. On this cold evening, it was exactly what we needed. These two huge bowls we passed around our table of six. The broth were divine! The pork belly was so delicate that it melts in your mouth. The beef falling off the bones were so tender and delicious. Sushi rolls: spider roll and the surf and turf. The spider roll with that soft shell crab was bomb. But the that A5 wagyu surf and turf was the star of the show. It comes out as raw slices on a roll and Chef Morimoto came out and torched it himself next to our table! I don't know if it tasted spectacular because it's wagyu or because the chef himself had torched it but this was my favorite! Overall, this was the most memorable dining experience I've had in a long time. I am sure that fangirling over the Iron Chef was the main reason but it seems that everything just fell into place for us that evening. Parking was literally next door in the garage, super easy no drama. Service was next level, maybe because the boss was there but we were not going to complain. And the food, impeccable! Pricepoint is just reasonable considering the quality, quantity and the location. It is definitely worth the trip coming here and I can't wait to visit again soon to see if everything will be the same without the Chef Morimoto around. I have a feeling it will be just as wonderful.

Flavors That Hit Different…read more From the moment the steaming bowl of ramen landed on the table, we knew we were in for something special. The broth was rich and soulful, the noodles had perfect bite, and the tender pork and seasoned egg tied it all together beautifully. Every spoonful was comfort in a bowl. But the real showstopper? The sticky, fall-off-the-bone ribs--coated in a bold, flavorful glaze with just the right amount of heat and sweetness. Paired with crisp, refreshing cocktails, this meal was a masterclass in flavor and balance. Momosan Wynwood blends casual vibes with culinary precision. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic Japanese comfort food with flair. Must-tries: Tonkotsu Ramen, Sticky Ribs, Yuzu Mojito.

Last night that place was Momi Ramen in Brickell. I went after work on a cool, lightly rainy evening when all I wanted was something comforting. Ramen felt right. They used to be cash only, which honestly kept me away, but they now accept credit cards, so it finally felt accessible. The space is small and intimate, almost like a New York-style Asian diner. Quiet, calm, and focused on the food. I ordered the chicken ramen with a Sapporo and everything hit exactly how it should. Deep flavors, well balanced, and incredibly comforting.
