What a cute little hole in the wall! My family came out of town and considering we come from a Colombian background round we truly wanted authentic Colombian dish! We started off with the empanadas and whattttta treat! The picante gave just the right kick! The fried yuca was delicious and we also tried the Bon de bono super fresh with the right amount of cheese! For our meals we devoured the Sancocho, bandeja paisa, whole friend fish and skirt steak! Only dish I could have lived without was the red beans but overall the services was great and the food was even better! Family was pleased and we will surely be back!

A nice and small place to dine in and have different options of foods in the menu. From meats, to chicken, to veggies, to soups and more. Normal atmosphere, and good service. A lot of parking in the plaza.

Excellent local Latin restaurant. Sopa de Campo was hearty with meat and veggies. Crema de Calabaza was great. Daily specials include soup M-F with variety of chicken, pork and fish. $10.99 is a great deal. Service was quick for lunch. Quiet pleasant atmosphere. Must go.

We went for a late lunch on a Saturday and when we arrived it was quite crowded and lively . We may have been the only gringos in the entire place. We thought the food was authentic and delicious. We wanted to try a few of the items and ordered a lot of food for two people. We started with a chicken empanada with a delicious ahi on the side. It was crispy and freshly made. We tried the Sancocho de gallina (hen stew) with fried tostones, white rice, and dark meat chicken for the sides. It was SO good! Not quite a chicken soup - more like a pureed vegetable soup with potatoes, yucca, carrots and aromatic chopped fresh cilantro leaves sprinkled on top. The sides were amazing - the tostones (fried bananas) were deep fried and thick, and the white rice was good, too. We also had the ensalada turca with thick, fresh chucks of local avocado, thinly sliced red onions, tomatoes and more. I also saw the tamales pass by me and I decided to order that as well. Delicious. It was wrapped in leaves and had bone-in meat. The arepa was grilled. All in all, it was a great meal - not expensive at all. Our server was also very nice and friendly. Bamboo is in an inconspicuous strip mall in southwest Miami and does not look like much on the outside. But it's clearly a local favorite and I highly recommend it.

Bamboo's is refreshingly consistent. Excellent food and superb service. Remember they don't take reservations so for a large party plan ahead.

Lunch with friends who highly recommended this place to me. It is a smaller place but with good ambiance, good service and delicious food! I ordered the Baby Churrasco and it was prepared perfectly to my satisfaction. We were all having so much fun that I forgot to take pictures of my steak. I did get one of my drink, vodka pineapple with mint. Easy parking because the place is located in a strip mall. I would definitely go back there again.

This is my favorite Colombian spot to go too! I always get the recalentado with hot chocolate. This is the best hot chocolate that brings me back to my childhood. Service is always great here and the arepas are also sold here, you can get a pack for a great price.

Found my new favorite Colombian restaurant in Miami! We were in the mood for good food and I found Bamboo on Yelp. It's a small spot tucked away inside a shopping mall, plenty of parking available. Inside is nice, simple and clean. Our waitress was such a sweetheart, all the staff was very friendly. The food was delicious, everything we ordered was amazing. Can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu!

A friend took us here for breakfast while we were on a weekend trip to Miami. It is a traditional Colombian restaurant. We were immediately greeted by the sweetest ladies. Our orders were promptly taken. I ordered a Colombian coffee with milk (café con leche), scrambled eggs with everything (huevos revueltos con todo) & cheese bread (pan de bono). My friends ordered cheese fingers (deditos de queso), which were long fried cheese filled dough bites. The food came out in a timely fashion and I felt like I was at home being served by my mom or family member. The ambience was nice and the food was delicious! I also tried a Colombiana, which is a soda similar to a Puerto Rican drink that I'm accustomed to called Kola Champagne. Great food, great service! Can't wait to return !

You walk in and it's just brimming with stuff ALL over the place. It's like a fever dream, but in a good way. Since we walked in it was packed and there was music which definitely set the vibe. Was a little hard to talk, but it made you want to dance the whole away through. The food is priced great and delicious. It took a little while, but completely understandable and the wait time was convenient for how packed the place was. The only reason I'm giving a four instead of a five was the service was a LITTLE slow. I understand again they were doing as good a job as possible for how packed the place was, but I had asked for water when our server took our order and I didn't get water till every single person at our table had to reask for water and I finally got some post meal. Our server was really nice, but again, took a while to get water, but we got another round of sangria and received those before the water. The place was bumping and people were dancing and having a good time. I would MAYBE check this place out again on a slower day. I hear they have mariachi!

They boast both indoor and outdoor seating with the same aesthetic and nods to Colombian culture, like the cute hats and sandals hanging on the wall. We were seated inside fairly quickly on the Sunday afternoon we came in. They were pretty busy, but the waiters were kind of hanging out at the bar, just chit-chatting. We were able to get one of the servers to look at us after a couple of minutes of sitting there. They brought us a little palate-opener of a small portion of a simple soup. They had a margarita special we tried, $5 frozen margaritas. The maracuya (passion fruit) one was a solid choice. I also ordered the mojarra frita with white rice, tostones, and salad. The rice was really undercooked. The waiter tried to appease us by bringing us more of the same uncooked rice. We were not the only table to say something about it because our neighbors confirmed they too received the same and were also unhappy. Other than that, the rest of my meal was great. However, I will say my mom was very upset with her experience and expressed that her chicken wasn't prepared well either.

We came in on a Monday around 6pm and ordered off the happy hour menu. The brussel sprouts were out of this world good!
