We went here for lunch and it wasn't that busy so we were seated quickly. The menu has extensive options for whatever you might be in the mood for. The food came quickly and was great! The server's attention to our table was okay. Only two negative things were 1) our table was wobbly, which was quite annoying while cutting our food, and 2) they charge a 3% fee for paying with card, so bring cash if you don't want to deal with that.

Empanada, signature fried yuca dish, berry margarita, old fashioned passion

Our server Andres was the best! Super attentive and kind. The atmosphere was cozy and authentic. Food was delicious and large portions. Drinks were also amazing and affordable.

Come with me to Mi Pueblo Restaurant a Colombian restaurant located in Sweetwater, FL. To start we ordered some empanadas de carne, which are made in the traditional Colombian style. To drink we ordered some of their jugos naturales, my dad ordered una limonada de coco (coconut lemonade) and I went with un jugo de maraculla (passion fruit juice), both were great and refreshing. For our mains, my dad had the sancocho de gallina and I had the pechuga empanizada. The sancocho is served with rice, una arepa, and salad. The pechuga empanizada comes with two sides, I went with rice and tostones. The main reason we went to Mi Pueblo was because my dad wanted sancocho and he usually loves the one from Mi Pueblo, but this time he said it was not the same. He said it lacked flavor and was not like it used to be before. My food was good. We didn't get to try the empanadas, since the food came out before the drinks and the empanadas. We took the empanadas to go and they were good. We will probably be back to Mi Pueblo, but I am sure my dad will be ordering something else next time. Their service is always kind and attentive.

Craving authentic Colombian food and this place hit the mark. Our group had the sancocho (soup in picture) and it was everything I needed that day. The steak was delicious. Service was great, he was on top of it, he forgot our avocado but no biggie, everything else was so good we forgot. The only thing we didn't like was the dessert but that's because it's an acquired taste. Happy I found a spot when I'm craving real food from my country.

Ample free parking, cute dining rooms(2) decorated in a Colombian theme, fast friendly service. Another good authentic Colombian restaurant in Miami, you can taste the homemade recipes in the food. They have music playing after 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays , we will try that sometime. The soup was a large portion and reasonably priced. We will be back!

Honestly the food tasted amazing!! Authentic Colombian food at its finest! Plus it truly felt like I was transported to Colombia with everything it had decorated on the walls. Shane I didn't take a picture but trust I felt like I was hanging in a Colombian neighborhood. Our server truly put the whole package together being from Colombia himself! I'm so happy we stumbled on th is spot the food was incredible and trust me when I say you have to visit this spot!

The food, service, and ambiance were amazing. Live singer and fast service of hot delicious food. Such a good time!

They boast both indoor and outdoor seating with the same aesthetic and nods to Colombian culture, like the cute hats and sandals hanging on the wall. We were seated inside fairly quickly on the Sunday afternoon we came in. They were pretty busy, but the waiters were kind of hanging out at the bar, just chit-chatting. We were able to get one of the servers to look at us after a couple of minutes of sitting there. They brought us a little palate-opener of a small portion of a simple soup. They had a margarita special we tried, $5 frozen margaritas. The maracuya (passion fruit) one was a solid choice. I also ordered the mojarra frita with white rice, tostones, and salad. The rice was really undercooked. The waiter tried to appease us by bringing us more of the same uncooked rice. We were not the only table to say something about it because our neighbors confirmed they too received the same and were also unhappy. Other than that, the rest of my meal was great. However, I will say my mom was very upset with her experience and expressed that her chicken wasn't prepared well either.
